  1. Note: The V35 and 350z share a few similarities in parts. Suspension parts from Shocks & struts, sway bars, springs, coilovers Intake parts Exhausts I'm pretty sure are the same for the coupe as well Wheels for the Z share the same offsets/widths of the coupes Any mods that suit a VQ35 engine wise would most likely be the same for V35/350z Body parts/kits are a rarity and is the main area that sets the Z apart from the V
  2. yea I had a 50% share in the Hilton they were building...I had to listen to Paris whinge and bitch all day long yesterday on the phone to me.

  8. Good luck Drgnball. I hope you checked the front wheels are at least standard disk type so they clear the GTT front brakes. Hope whoever you have pulling your guards out do a good job and don't crack your paint. Post up pics once you are done...and don't let us spot these wheels on the For Sale forum coz they don't fit

  11. The keys do not have built in immobiliser chips. I have one myself for the 34 and all you do is go to a key cutting place to get it cut from your original. Looks like this: let me know as this may be the last one I have. Thanks.
  12. Z suspension is perfect, hardly much difference to factory shocks except its a little firmer, lowers the car by 1" all around and improved handling obviously. Most just replace with Z springs + factory V35 shocks but if you can find the whole suspension set that would be recommended as it is a matching shock and spring combo. If you are lucky you should be able to pick a set of used low km ones for under $200. Bang for buck suspension mod!
  13. Not 100% sure on tht but I have known R33 and Stagea owners in particular use R34 SMICs as factory replacements with good results. There is a thread somewhere for a stagea...I'll see if I can find info on the R33 EDIT/ Beauty of the search button. Here is a fine example for you. Judging from the pics of both side by side, I would say install would be very straightforward. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...amp;hl=R34+smic
  14. ^^^^ Very nice Elie. I've got the same color but in a sedan.
  15. I think that is putting it politely. These cars aren't as simple as previous Skylines to swap and change parts. Think what it will do to re-sale value if this doesn't work out 100% as you wanted it to.
  16. Easy Dan, sell urs buy mine Rays still for sale! 35th Anniversary wheels sold pending payment.
  17. Click my sig. These will accomodate brembos and are similar weight to TE37s and are pretty much the size you are after.
  18. 25% in the fronts, rears are factory tint from Japan
  19. Hey burner, Welcome to the forums. Check out Nagoya Motors and ask for Alex. I purchased mine from him Series 2 350gt premium sedan. Here's one that might interest you. http://www.nagoyamotors.com.au/vdetail.asp?id=472 Ignore the Gt-8 as I'm pretty sure thats a typo. Series 2 come in the 5spd auto and also the keyless ignition (buttons on door handle and also bootlid to open/lock/unlock. Also come with the Bose CD/MD in brushed aluminium trim which is a lot nicer than the earlier models. Good luck in your search..I highly recommend Nagoya. Do a search and you will find similar recommendations for them.
  20. LOL u will more than likely need flared guards and a respray once your paint cracks, unless you are planning for widebody forget it
  21. few things to consider: 1. the v35 is already a pretty heavy vehicle. 20s will add to the unsprung weight. Consider lightweight forged jap 19s? 2. 20s + coilovers is going to compromise your handling and comfort. Choose your spring rates wisely. 3. If you are patient, try and source a set of used jap 19s or try the traders on this forum. 3k should net you a decent set. The v35 is in a similar league to 3 series beemers, c class mercs and lexus...I believe they deserve nothing less than a nice quality set of wheels At the end of the day its your car though, so stick with whatever u like.
  22. Quote from Nengun website: Allow more airflow to the Intercooler with the Nismo Air Duct So I guess yeah...more airflow compared to stocko. Never fitted it but it came of an R34 GTT.
  23. Definately need guard rolling for those widths and offsets above. more suited to GTR guards. For a GTT you are better off going 8.5 and 9.5 with a +30 to +35 offset
