  1. Time to let go of these as much as I don't want to, but new wheels are due in next month so my loss your gain! For those that are not aware these are now discontinued by Rays Engineering and will either appreciate or hold their value in the years to come. Specs: 19x 8.5 +25 19x 9.5 +30 Weight is approx 9kg which is bloody light for a 19" wheel similar to TE37s. Recommended specs for the Nismo 350z but will suit a variety of Nissans, ie: R33,34,S15, V35 etc... Silver in color with diamond cut machined lip Wheels have no gutter rash at all. One wheel center has slight peeling of clear coat as pictured and one of the nismo decals is fading (easily replaced). Apart from that wheels are physically and aesthetically in excellent condition. Preference will be be given to pick up in Brisbane Southside but may post interstate if neccessary. Price for wheels only - $2800 www.vsp07.blogspot.com - more pics of wheels on my car.
  2. check out my blog with the relevant wheels and offsets I have tried. Note: my car has been lowered approx 30mm and the rear guards rolled to accomodate some of these. http://vsp07.blogspot.com.au/ If you are buying from a shop, make sure they trial fit the fronts to make sure they clear the brakes. Post a pic of the wheels you are interested in if you want and the specs and I can give you an indication of fitment.
  3. Nice colour...its not a CVT is it?
  4. Nice I like the colour of the wheels better than black. Welcome mate and mod wisely
  5. Thanks looking forward to see what you do to your ride
  6. Tony, here's the pic from a distance.
  7. my God...ur running 30 profile tires on an 18" rim? Thats the main reason you look lower than your mates car dude. They should be 225/45 and 245/45 on 18s...your speedo should be so far out. Anyway I bought federal 595s from Option 1 Garage bout 2 months ago. Cost me around 800+ for a full set in 19s. Budget for about $1K for half decent tires in 20s.
  8. Shiva, Try japanparts.com they've got the nismo one and also OEM ones plus other styles and they have a sale on at the moment. http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?dealer=5&car=76&middle=2&small=11&page=2
  9. pic of the plate bracket?
  10. Hi Guys, I was tired of fingerprints all over my b-pillar so I decided to get a set of these CF vinyl overlays for the B-pillar from Ebay. Applying was easy. Came in 6 parts and were all pre-cut to spec for the sedan. The rear bit could have been 1-2mm slightly wider but overall looks good and best of all no more finger prints! If anyone is interested here's the link from Ebay US. Took exactly 10 days to arrive including weekends. Pics below. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/03-06-Infiniti-G35-CARBON-FIBER-B-Pillar-door-covers-35-window-trim-fibre-cf-b-c-/230690789595?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35b63e18db#ht_2056wt_1304
  11. Infiniti won't be releasing the sedan version of the G series. It will only come in the M series which is rumoured to be priced around the 80-100K. http://www.infiniticars.com.au/view_all_vehicles.html
  12. I think we are confusing the kw at the wheels and at the engine figures (flywheel). Factory 350GT = 206kw at the flywheel, so if you dyno'd it at 170kw at the wheels then I would say that is about right +/-
  13. $80 shipping for wheels interstate is not unheard of. E-Go charge less than $100 for a set of 4 wheels with tires from Syd to Bris. Some sellers also absorb some of the costs of shipping and make it back from the buy price hence giving buyers a perceived cheaper freight cost. Opposed to sellers selling a product for dirt cheap but charging triple the postage. So don't judge a seller based on cheap freight alone.
  14. Yea October, thats when my new wheels are due to land...unless I can find a spare set to tie me down before then. Tony, I think its the karouki bumper if I'm not mistaken.
  15. These are the exact same wheels with identical width and offset but with an added 10mm spacer at the rears bringing it to 9.5 +20 and slammed...
  16. I was running 275s without any issues by the way (rear guards rolled). Here is a pic on 275s at the rears. If you are on adjustable height coilovers shouldn't be a problem
  17. 2.5K wheels only. You will need to be lowered at least 1" or more though to fit these. Mine are lowered currently on Z suspension all round, the fronts sit flush, the rears have a very discreet poke approx 5-10mm on 245 rubber.
  18. Need wheel width not tyre. 19x?"
  19. put it up as $25K so you have some room to move...don't short change yourself.
  20. Hi Sam, Welcome to the forums! The topic of insurance has been covered quite a fair bit and if it hasn't answered your question its because there is probably no accurate answer. Insurance quotes vary from company to company and is determined by a lot of different variables: 1. age of driver 2. type of vehicle and age 3. agreed or market value insured 4. driving history 5. insurance history (rating) 6. postcode/state where you live 7. garaged or street parked If you are a P Plater then all the odds will be against you and most insurers will classify you as high risk and hence will charge you a higher premium. Unfortunately being an import also means higher premiums in most cases so be prepared. The general advice is, if you can't afford the insurance, don't buy the car. I pay $500/year for my V through Just Cars. All comes down to age, previous insurance history etc.. Also most people aren't aware they can adjust their premiums as well with most companies and choose to pay lower premium and higher excess which is what I have done as opposed to high premium low excess. Good Luck!
