I say go for it too...tint it! Slightly different shades is better than no tint at all... Here's a pic of mine...darkest legal 3M tint on the front, rears are factory tint from Japan as per usual..not very noticeable..still looks good.

I agree totally...a lot of people confuse your run of the mill Jap Spec Tein HAs with high spring rates to the Jap Spec Super Streets...totally different kettle of fish.

Seriously dude, how long is a piece of string... You would be better off getting an aftermarket front and rear bar to fit the GTS. Unless you are talking about converting your front and rear end to 34 with lights, guards etc...then in that case, Bee-r make them...big $$$

265 on a 9" rim is still legal and acceptable...I had them on my 9" wide rim and side walls were still flat..

Correction, the aus spec ones are revalved, but use the same spring rates as the jap ones. To say everything Jap Spec is pretty rough is a generalisation...I have the Jap Spec Super Streets and I can tell you now, the ride is only a tad firmer than stock suspension...5k fronts 4k rears. Most of my passengers don't even believe me when I tell them I have Jap coilovers...

food for thought....I rang up just cars for a quote last week and you can reduce your premium by paying a higher excess... it ranged from $800 premium with a $400 excess to $500 premium with a $900 excess....

I would have pointed you to Ryno insurance whom I'm currently with at the moment, pay by the mth no extra charges...but I just received a letter today saying due to a chg in policy, they will no longer be able to offer me a renewal when mine expires next mth...they are now specialising in classics and luxury cars only... Just cars is ur best bet....

Why do you need so many gauges?? the MFD should tell you pretty much everything u need to know...

Do you have a pop up screen at the top or the triple gauges? The DVD rom player was most likely for the gps...most likely useless in OZ..

Your spring rates are probably the main cause of the stiff ride...What make are the coilovers? You do not change tyre profile to soften your ride...it will only throw your overall diameter and speedo out...unless you plan on going back to 16s or 15s with a 50 or 55 profile.

The only ideal offset above is 19x9.5 Hyper Gold 5x114.3 38 and thats just for the rears. The rest are more suited to Toyotas eg: soarers, lexus, Supras, etc...

Best u source the proper 34 airbag steering wheel and get it replaced. Replacing the airbag steering wheel with a non airbag one on the 34 is an instant defect.
