stick both yours and your mates tire profiles into the below calculator. Chances are you rolling diameter is smaller than his and hence yours looks lower. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp?err=98&rsn=cde-no-cde-gen-by-svr lower the car on 19s instead of stock suspension on 20s. Thats my advice.

The above offsets for a coupe would definately fit but is pretty conservative. Question is how much are you lowered if any at all? rule of thumb, the lower you go, the more you can squeeze into your guards as it will give you more camber like so ------> /oo\ To get the desired look you are after, you have to lower your car even if its a mild drop otherwise you will be sporting the 4WD stance...

and before you pull the trigger there is also caliper/disk clearance you have to worry about. Wheels with big dish are normally lo disk clearance...thats why u see most staggered setups have more dish at the rear than the fronts. Most Jap wheels will specify this....not sure about XXR though.

+1 for respray. That metallic silver paint should set u back approx $150-$200 per wheel. And yes I agree those factory 19s are nice except for the weak offsets. I was looking for a set a while ago.

find a reputable mechanic to do it. Nissan will rip you off big time no matter which way you look at it and I doubt they will allow you to supply parts as this will no doubt void any warranty on "their" service.

Pricing for jap wheels all depends. Obviously dearer if you order brand new. Plenty of 2nd hand quality stuff out there ranging from 1.5 to 2.5k again depends on condition brand width offsets etc... In my lifetime of owning imports I have probably purchased in the vicinity of 15 to 20 sets of jap wheels. Most I ever paid was $3k got a few bargains a well. So do your research, check frequently on forums, eBay, import websites etc.. Or even yahoo auctions in jp. Invest in a good set and you won't regret it

Dude, firstly who recommended those tire profiles for you? There is 73mm difference in overall diameter between the front and back tires. Secondly those profiles are also way off for a V.

It would have been worked out based on a % of the agreed value. If cost of repair exceeds this % then its a write off. There is no benefit for the repairer to low ball you as if the amount of work required + the cost is too high it would be deemed as a write off by the insurer anyway.

So what is the agreed or market value on your insurance policy? If its anywhere above $13K, accept the write off, take the money and buy something else. Don't take the chance of it being repaired properly because it won't be the same regardless and if anything will make it harder to sell in the future if it has an accident history.

For series 1 owners, to achieve a similar look without spending 2.5K, just paint/color code the bottom half black bit. Makes a big difference to looks IMHO.

I don't think the Wald Kit includes a bonnet. Only front add on, side skirts and rear apron. Looks good dumped on a set of VIP wheels. $2.5K landed is pretty cheap!
