  1. Having owned my 4dr GTT for more than 2 years...no way I'd trade with a manual 33 GTST...newer car, less problems...good mileage too...the tiptronic can be fun when u want it to be...
  2. well, the last two tickets I got were registered post...this was probably a year and a half ago but...
  3. HI mate, I have a full set of genuine R34 sedan Skyline floor matts (5 piece). You can have them for $70. Brisbane Southside pickup I replaced mine with Nismo ones...
  4. Nothing gay about the 4dr R34 NA...a pretty good upgrade from ur celica actually.... Personally I would not pick either of the above...especially with all those faults. Keep on looking is my advice...
  5. They're definately not Koyas...hard to tell from the pics but they look more like Axis Hiros
  6. black 4dr 34 around 7pm on the M1 heading into the city..
  7. 18x8 +38 on the fronts may fit depending on wheel type and spoke design...due to +38 you may have brake caliper clearance issues, so test fit before you buy... eg: I had two different type of wheels before both 18x8 +35 for the fronts, one fit the other one did not clear brakes...its all in the x factor..
  8. the official nismo website uses the first one... http://www.nismo.co.jp/
  9. Thats right and also if its a custom order, then I would chg the rears to 9.5 instead of 9 with +35 offset
  10. if your car is not lowered at all, then you definately don't need camber kits. Take it to a proper suspension place to get your allignment looked at....not just some tyre shop..somethings not right there if you have uneven tyre wear.
  11. The fronts should be fine, I ran that on my GTT. Fronts will only slightly rub on the inner plastic guard on full lock when going up driveways. Rears are a bit weird, more suited to GTRs. Ideally rears should be 9.5 +35 or +38
  12. You are right...no adjustment for fronts and a little bit of adjustment at the rears. Depending on how low you go. If I remember SK's advice, recommended height settings for GTT is around 350mm fronts and 345mm rears measured from center of wheel to guard. Any lower and you will need a camber kit for front n rear. Check out SK's Bilstein GB kit thread, all the info is in there...
  13. Tell me the widths and offsets and I'll be able to give you a pretty good indication whether they will rub or not.. IMO, go 18s. If you are comparing LMGT4s in 17s and 18s the weight difference is not that much of an issue, tyre prices for 18s have also come down quite a fair bit as 18s have become the new 17s...
  14. The calculator is useful for determining the difference in overall rolling diameter compared to stock...so you will need to know what your stock wheel and tire combo first before sticking in any different combinations. In QLD, legally you cannot increase the diameter by more than 15mm and if you stick within 15 mm, your speedo difference will be negligible.

Hey Mud, If the headunit sale falls thru lemme know. Cheers, Jon
  16. S2 stock wheels are also in a different color...gunmetal greyish similar to the 34 GTRs, S2 NEO engine cover, the turbo letters are not painted red, interior trim in the S2s are also slightly different, some argue are of lower quality... S2 front bar:
  17. from S1 to S2, there were minor aesthetic changes to the interior trim eg: silver bit on steering wheel and gear knob, different color cluster lights and if u are one of the unlucky ones...u get the fugly S2 front bar which makes it look like a BA falcon with no room for a FMIC. S2 also comes with just slightly more torque from memory an extra 10nm.
  18. screw all the math! Use the tyre calculator... http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
  19. front bar is a genuine Nissan Aero kit, with what looks like an east bear add on lip and also GTR bonnet with the top mole available from east bear as well to fill the gap between the front bar and the GTR bonnet. Check out www.powerplayimports.com.au under R34 and East bear.
  20. I agree with BB, lower offset, means widening the track width = changing the center of gravity of your car and hence putting additional strain on suspension parts eg bushes etc.... That said, there is an optimal range of offsets which will be bugger all impact on the above...+8 might be pushing it or anything with a -ve offset...
  21. Not sure if its just the picture, but looking at this pic of the 4 wheels in a row, the first 2 wheels on the far left don't look as wide as the last two? (The last two wheels sit a bit taller) Are you sure they are 9.5 all round? Coz they seem to fit nice n snug on the S14 fronts, so makes me wonder maybe the fronts are 8.5? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&id=122720
  22. look for a number with either a + or ET infront, that would be the offset. As for width, its normally a number ending with JJ eg: 8JJ = 8" width wheel...but yea pics would be more helpful.
  23. Nah I don't do them..I got my first set made by an ns.com trader which were shithouse hence i removed them...there was also a GB on them on SAU ages ago, shithouse as well..so i gave up... try exodus designs, he's on this forum under xodus i think....he custom makes whatever you want and is apparently pretty good...
  24. do they come with lock nuts like the RAYS ones?
