  1. Shouldn't clean it just yet..take pics first. Then get a quote for a respray and send it along to BCC for a claim see what they say. I've heard of ppl running over potholes, damaging their wheels and got compensated by the council.
  2. Just because it says xenon does not mean you have xenon. The lamps would have been replaced to halogen during compliance so I don't think you have xenons. Are ur lights a bright white color and takes a few secs to come on? If so you have xenons...if they are the normal yellowish light, then its been converted to halogens.
  3. Spotted 5EXYN turning on to mains rd at Sunnybank.. Also a gunmetal grey 32 on mains rd too this afternoon around 5pm heading towards the city, had white wheels... Oh..and a phat white 33 with white deep dished wheels also on Mains Rd heading towards sunnybank hills!
  4. haven't you got urs??? Go ask Karen, she is the Sticker girl.
  5. Man is it only me or have we seen an influx of newbies the last couple of weeks!??? A good sign! Heck we can almost start a cult now! Welcome and hope to see you out and about with an SAU sticker on ur ride !
  6. I've bought and sold on here for a while and have had good experiences so far. Few tips: 1. Try and buy local if you can so you can pick up and inspect b4 you hand cash over 2. Failing that if you need to purchase from interstate, check the users background, things like how long have they been a member, trader ratings, check out their posts under user options, see if they are good mates with longstanding members or have attended public meets etc... 3. Phone the seller, ask questions, possibly chat via msn as well so you get a feel whether the buyer is genuine or not 4. Ask for pics 5. Be wary of newbies that have signed up the same day with 1 post to their name trying to flog cheap parts off 6. Rely on your gut instinct, if its too good to be true it normally is. I actually had a really good experience few weeks back, actually persuaded the seller to send me the items before payment was made due to suspect circumstances. All worked out well in the end GL!
  7. haha Grant beat me to it...yes its an easy fix and common in imports, courtesy of dodgy compliancing.

Welcome! I assume from your username you are married?
  9. I'll be there.... AZN Justdave FTW !!!
  10. When is the trader rating coming back on? and is it going to be displayed under username like before? I too have a few to put through..and receive
  11. correct me if I am wrong but I believe for rego purposes, you will only require a roadworthy done. QLD transport doesn't look at your mod list? Its only when you get stopped at a defect station you will need to start praying. First on that list would be to get a new CAT! After you have registered the car in QLD then proceed to find an engineer to mod plate it so you are covered.
  12. For a Non turbo sedan, agreed value of 17.5K is pretty reasonable. IF you look around most private sales of these models go anywhere from 12-15k on average. They should still in quite reasonable condition but if you are sceptical, best to pay for a 3rd party mechanical inspection RACQ/RACV etc... Rust is probably something I would chk for first, not that they are prone to it but you never know. Take it for a test drive and make sure there are no iregularities. NA sedan 34s in Japan would have normally been family cars or even taxis, so not much chance of it being really thrashed..
  13. They've put a different rear end on it??? That sounds so bad...like a cut and shut or rebirthing scam happening..I hope it all goes well for you in the end but if it was me, I would be asking for my $$ back and walk away. Do tell which dealership this is as I'm really curious now..u can PM if you need to. Regardless of what promises made by the dealership to "fix" it, I doubt they will actually fork out a lot more $$ to do a proper job and at the end of the day its at your cost as well in $$ and time keep on going back and getting a 3rd party to re-check everything...
  14. Oh opps sorry, in that case double yuk!!!
  15. I don't think anyone would have this ready on the shelf for you to buy in the right widths and offsets you require. Not something you will find at your local bob jane or tempe tyres. Best bet would be to get in contact with one of the traders on SAU who frequently import from Japan eg: JDM concept/JDMimports/Slidewize etc...they can source 2nd hand ones through Yahoo auctions or custom order brand new ones..big $$$
  16. picsorban!
  17. IE7 reported that link as a phishing site, stay away do not click!
  18. These are on 34GTRs, looks like you might need a new bonnet to suit too for the GTTs. Looks ok but not my cup of tea. Have you had a look at Impul and Cwest? http://www.c-west.co.jp/aero/er34/
  19. oh almost forgot the most popular one...kick him in the nutzzzz..
  20. Dude, no offense but seeing as you bought this from a dealer, I wouldn't wanna be finding out about all these unexpected repairs after the sale regardless of how much u knocked off the price in the first place?? Sounds like the car hasnt even had a proper road worthy done?? Anyways, GL with it!
  21. yeah don't let that worry you too much about getting a V35..give it another year or two and they will be as popular as 34s....by then 34s will be like 33s...and well...every kid on the block will be able to afford a 33 and 32 by then
  22. your mate is wrong..go tell it to his face AFAIK, 33s and 34s came out with sunroof as a factory option except the GTRs. I've got one..and its damn well factory
  23. I have -8 new messages???
  24. So outside guards were untouched? Did u get much scrubbing on the inner front guards at full lock? So tempting dude!
