Correct me if I'm wrong but I've read from one of SK's threads that factory suspension spring rates are around the 3k mark for Skylines. I've got Tein Super Streets which are 5k front and 4k rears. They are definately firmer than stock but still comfortable. 10k/8k I would assume be very much stiffer compared to stock suspension. You would feel every pebble on the road.

you don't need 2 subs for decent bass especially in the boot of a 34..you won't have space left for anything else.

a lot of ppl confuse lipping and guard rolling or flaring. As I understand it, lipping is only flattening the inside of your guard lip, no paintwork will be affected or cracked. Guard flaring on the other hand will involve heating the panels and rolling them out...thts when u run the risk of paint cracking. My Works were 18x8 +35 still had plenty of room to move! I'm now running 18x8.5 +30 at the fronts which is the most i'd recommend before you start needing camber adjustments or guard mods to fit.

One of the forum members here have 20s on their 34GTT. Depending on how low ur car is..probably will require slight lipping of the guards. For offsets: Rear you should try around the +38 - +35 max Fronts +35 Just a guesstimate...ultimately best way would be to try on the wheels...offsets and widths can be pretty tricky once u go bigger wheels...not to mention front brake caliper clearance..

Ok, just received my Just car renawal notice: They want: $902 - agreed value $23800 - excess $400 Got a quote from Ryno few weeks ago: $976 - agreed value $37000 - excess $500 I'm about to go pay a visit to Ryno coz they're at Coopers Plains, just 15 mins from where I live to see if they can tweak their premium a bit. Ryno allows you to pay by the month at no extra cost has won me. Everything else seems similar to Just cars including mods etc... Which would you choose if you were me?

Having 20s on might explain the speedo inaccuracies with the HUD...but damn...80ks and 40ks is pretty out of whack...have you got 4WD tires on it?

If they are slip ons, then they are dangerous, because it decreases the stud length for the nuts to screw on (if tht makes sense)...if they are hubcentric bolt on ones they are pretty safe....that said they are all illegal.

The TCS OFF light means your traction control is off...it should be ON by default when you turn ur car on. Same with the SLIP light...those warning lights are telling you something is not right...u need to check for error codes through the consult port. Burning smell and steam/smoke is not a good sign. Take it to a reputable machanic asap!
