Its just the fronts...sorry mate. -
Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
NSNPWR replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Based on how mine fit up, I'd say you'd be best with the 10.5s +25...would sit very similar to mine...the +15s in that width would be a struggle! They'd be out another 10mm or so compared to mine...check pics a page or so back...I'm running 265s as well. -
R34 Gtt Coilovers Fit R32 Gtr?
NSNPWR replied to DVSTRK's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
R34 GTt do fit R32 GTR... -
Has been done, there was a blue over silver VL Calais years ago, one of the first 3 litre twin cam conversions, JET 88C I think it was...guy thought it was a 25 head from memory but later found out it was a 20 head when it didnt make as much power as they expected on a given boost level. Single cam head FTW if its in a VL Guys have made over 500rwkw with the single cam.

This is seriously cheap as it is mate, for anyone genuinely looking that appreciates the time and $$$ building a car like this, they will know its a farkin bargain...just be patient!

Springs For My Bilstein Shocks
NSNPWR replied to Mr. Untouchable's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Slightly off topic but does anyone know what the standard Whiteline Spring Rates are for 32 GTR? Im running a set of Whiteline springs with my Koni Yellows (Damper and Circlip height adjustable) and im convinced the springs are way too soft...ive got the fronts set at the highest setting yet they will still bottom out over a harsh enough bump and the rears are much the same, the shock is bottoming out... Waxhead, i'll sell you the Whitelines out of mine -
Have you been in touch with Kyle throughout the install? Im sure he'd be interested to hear about the issues youve had...one of the most helpful, genuine guys within the modified car scene and so much knowledge... Not knocking you but suprised you didnt have a look at the tune before you took it the track and gave it a hard time?

Nice vid, the photobucket clip is really good quality already? Sounds tough as and hauls ass...what light came on on the dash? ATTESA/4WD? Did you retune with new manifolds???

I've got R34 Tomei cams in my 32 GTR, just bought a 2nd hand R34 CAS and swap a couple of wires round on the CAS plug, easy. I did read a user on here modified his 32 CAS to fit the 34 cams so that is also a possibility...

Will these fit 32 GTR? The mounts look right?

Tuning Around Stock Gtr Afms/injector Limits
NSNPWR replied to NSNPWR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Too true and $300 is a bloody rip for 20/25 AFMs...they on drugs? Private sellers seem to get about $50 a pop...but I guess i'd get some joke of a warranty though an import wrecker though yes? -
Hks Front Pipes On Standard 32 Gtr Dumps
NSNPWR replied to GimpyDammit's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Nope, I don't and i don't believe nismoid has any back to back tests, same car, same dyno, same day which would prove there is nothing to be had from changing dumps and if he did, I dont believe he'd share them as if would detract from his position of 'little if anything to be gained'... I've got some common sense and it tells me it's harder to blow through a straw than a garden hose. Take a look inside a factory dump, lumps, bumps and restrictions galore. I just don't get how anyone can say one section of the exhaust, the dumps in this case, a section exposed to the hottest exhaust gases is not worth upgrading, it contradicts everything people have been doing with turbo cars for years. Are there any examples of any of the jap tuners retaining stock dumps? I've said it once and I'll say it again, if we all followed nismoids lead, we'd all be driving stock dumped, stock cammed RB26s...there's plenty of people on this forum who'd beg to differ. Nothing against you Nismiod, just too one eyed on this topic IMO. -
Hks Front Pipes On Standard 32 Gtr Dumps
NSNPWR replied to GimpyDammit's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Let's consider the extra heat restrictive factory dumps create...we hear this from you repeatedly Nismiod that there's no gains to be had from a/m dumps yet you harp on about all the gains to be had from a larger free flowing exhaust ie. 3.5"...your opinion or experience on the dyno contradicts the vast majority of other peoples experience with a/m dumps... Better response, more power, proven time and time again. If you can afford dumps, do them, simple. -
Are you saying there's nothing to be had from adjusting poncams from their '0' position?

Tuning Around Stock Gtr Afms/injector Limits
NSNPWR replied to NSNPWR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Lol @ cheapskate...Running PFC, thanks for the tip mate, 20/25 AFMs arent exactly in abundance from browsing the forums?... Like I said, im trying not to spend on it, nothing to do with being a cheapskate, have burnt plenty of cash on this and previous cars. -
Tuning Around Stock Gtr Afms/injector Limits
NSNPWR replied to NSNPWR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Cheers. Not exactly sure of clutch in mine, some cushion button thing with a billet flywheel according to receipt...hopefully holds up. Should a full weight 32 GTR trap around 120mph with 300rwkw and a good launch? Or more? I'd like to think it would do that easy... -
Tuning Around Stock Gtr Afms/injector Limits
NSNPWR replied to NSNPWR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The tuner should be allowing for and checking this on the dyno then, yeah? You think the -7s will go 320-330? You mentioned exhaust, im running ceramic coated HKS split dumps into an unknown brand front pipe, into a big metal cat into a 3" pipe with one muffler right up the back...again, for the outlay, is a 3.5 worth the $$$? A few years ago ive had not been worried and just spent the $$$ but Mortgages etc change priorities!... -

Tuning Around Stock Gtr Afms/injector Limits
NSNPWR replied to NSNPWR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Cool, so you kept stocko AFMs @340rwkw Nismoid? And MrStab, what Injectors/AFMs are you using to make 305rwkw? Stockers? The existing Injectors arent leaking and im pretty sure theres a receipt in the pile that came with the car for having them cleaned/flowed but would do again to be safe... But based on above, I think i'll whack the 740s I have in there and work with the stock AFMs...seems theyre 'less' of a safety issue than the injectors, as long as tuner is capable enough of working around them. Cheers. -
Firstly, I know there has been discussion about this in the past and ive read a number of threads but seeking input and opinions from those that have done it or seen it first hand coz im sitting on the fence here... Heres the basics of my situation - Cars a 32 GTR, before I bought it, made 270rwkw on 1 bar with -7s, PFC, Forged motor, Tomei Fuel pump, stock Injectors/AFMs and an SX Pressure Reg. Ive since added some small Tomei cams and am now ready for a tune and somewhere around 18psi. I bought some Siemens 740cc Injectors ages ago (can sell easy enough) but am wondering whether is it really worth doing Injectors and Z32 AFMs with these turbos? Is is realistic and more importantly safe enough to squeeze the stock injectors and AFMs to the limits of the -7s? My tuner mentioned he can 'tune around' the stock AFMs to an extent... I figure with the cams and 18psi it MIGHT make 300rwkw ish? What would you do?...Im at a point where im trying not to spend on it so if I can retain stock AFMs and Injectors with the SX reg and make close enough to 300rwkw i'd prefer to! Thoughts? Cheers.

Questions About Water Temp And Thermo Fan Setup?

He doesn't have room, that's the whole problem...he has 30 odd mm from pulleys to radiator... -
Questions About Water Temp And Thermo Fan Setup?
NSNPWR replied to BrynDETT's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Exactly...easy enough to get wrong and even easier to correct! Get a piece of paper and place it on the engine side of the radiator core...if it sticks, your fans are going the wrong way! As has been said above, shrouding is a must, I've managed to get a single 16'' fan in the original 32 GTR shroud, got this working in conjunction with the air con fan...also have a diversion plate...all seems to work well.
