  1. May seem obvious, but they are pushing and not pulling yeah?
  2. Factory BOVs make part throttle gear changes soooooo much smoother! Retain them or refit them if they're not causing you any issues.
  3. Brand new as in unused? Beings that they fit R34 GTt, does this mean theyll fit R32 GTR? Thats my understanding...spring rates?

Yep, exhaust wheel will look 'wet' and you probably wont see this until the turbos off but oil will be weeping down the bottom of the front side of the exhaust housing, let us know how you go...mine wasn't caused by blocked breathers but excessive piston to bore clearance...same result - excessive crankcase pressure and a turbo that couldn't drain..

Have seen first hand what excessive crank case pressure can do to turbos, which is what you would have had with blocked breathers...as was mentioned above, oil in the turbo cant return to the sump and builds in the turbo core, it then pushes past the exhaust seal, in my case, the exhaust seal was shagged or had moved according to turbo builder and I had sh1t loads of white smoke, like you...
  8. Cheers mate...Now riding on Koni Yellows, fresh 20percent tint just done 2 weeks ago, centre muffler removed...sounds tough, getting a bit of use past few weeks, no issues. As for side indicators, 89s didn't require them, inspector did mention it needed them to pass but then I think he realized what year it was : )
  9. Spotted a hectik Dark Blue R34 in Christies...Fast and the Furious spec...blingin Tempe chrome wheels, bitsa bodykit, blue under car neons...the works...think its stuck in 2nd gear too. Anyone know who owns this?
  10. Edit, I thought you wrote 3cm not 3mm...3mm is about normal. Same as mine after I fitted the spacer...

There should be a metal spacer that sits in the bottom before everything else goes in...if you've bought this second hand, chances ard it's sitting in the box it came out of...I know because I bought a 2nd hand C's shifter and it didn't come with the spacer so I had the same up and down movement you've got...

As above, I have the following for sale, all in excellent condition and all for R32 GTR. 1 x Full set of Koni Yellow Damper and Circlip Height Adjustable shocks, no leaks, bought through Import Monster, just over a month ago, advert advised they were rebuilt 10000kms prior to being removed. $300 1 x Full set of Whiteline lowered springs - currently fitted to above mentioned Koni Yellow shocks. $250 1 x Full set of Agreve (Japanese brand) Damper and Circlip Height Adjustable shocks, brand new in the box, only opened to trial fit springs to 2 shocks. $350 Prefer to sell the Konis and the Springs as a set for $500 o.n.o Contact via PM or 0400 274 366.
  13. That sounds right, I had 55 and 50 profile tires on a few weeks ago and the 4WD light kept coming on....
  14. My understanding is any difference in tire profile, rim width, offset etc can mess with the ATTESSA...
  15. Dont run staggered setup on GTR...and get the 10s +22 with a 265 tire. Should all sit in nicely front and back. Sorted. Have a look back at my pics of 32 GTR, they are 10s all round +11R and +12F with 265s all round. Yours will sit in a full cm in comparison.
  16. I know of more than one example with the Tomei cams where this has not been the case...with my motor in particular, the clearances were adjusted for the factory cams when the motor was rebuilt, its my understanding that the Tomei cams share the same base circle as the stockers? 32mm?

Im curious as to where people put their adj gears with stock cams as when I fit my Poncams (car already had Tomei gears) I noticed the only gear moved was the Inlet and it was only by around 1deg...I know the car had been through a number of QLD tuners before I bought it so im wondering if there is actually that much to be had from adj gears on stock cams? As it was, car made 270rwkw with -7s on just under 1bar. ...And as long as you have basic mechanical knowledge, cams are so easy to fit yourself its not funny
  19. Yes, pillow ball tops are sh1t for a street car...rattly, annoying and the bearings constantly wear...had Buddy Clubs in my previous ride, S15...drove me nuts.
  20. Also depends what you want to do with the car, not everyone tracks their GTR.
  21. A/M cams will give you more power for a given boost level compared to stockers...been proven time and time again. I've put Tomei 260s in mine with -7s, still need to have a tune but as yet, no noticeable loss of drivability down low, in fact, considering I've turned boost down from 1bar to .7bar, I'd say it feels as strong as it did before, particularly from 4000 onwards. My 2c.
  22. Dont look any PCV valve ive ever seen...could be a one way valve though..
  23. Why would you want or need a restrictor in the breather lines?
  24. You'd do it coz they make big power much easier than a 20 and just as easy as a 25...and the N/A bottom ends are strong, cheap, plentiful...not sure how much work to get one in a 32 though...costs probably offset any gains.
  25. R34 engine placard/decal/badge is sold. Everything else I still have, open to reasonable offers.
