  1. Clicky Ctrl+F "Radiator"
  2. Brad, ducati02 on here, did his radiator late last year - brief summary of it http://www.m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=114&p=1048
  3. I believe this is a Simon, and this is/was his misfortune
  4. I think I spotted your boat at the 26 second mark The GIO skyline is a very tidy piece of kit
  5. I have the same issue. That'd definitely cause the CEL light to stay on for a while, it would eventually turn itself off apparently, but when I've had it happen to me I've always just cleared it. If that was the cause, it shouldnt come back on now. Easy fix
  6. Did you unplug the OEM boost solenoid? Id say check the error codes, theres a squence to get the CEL to flash which corrospondes to OBD2 error code list. The squence is documented here: http://www.m35stagea...ic.php?f=6&t=11 and the error codes: http://www.m35stagea...ic.php?f=6&t=12
  7. Ive heard rumours that there might be a John Bowe training day at Mallala in November - unsure if it'll be an SAU:SA organised event or not but Id say that would be a great opportunity to ensure that none of us have to hang our heads in shame
  8. Whose making the custom TBE? Any reason you're not going for a tried and tested JDM product? Anticipate drone. For $2.5k I'd probably want to know what/how they're going to tune it. Whose doing the work? Have they worked on a VQ25DET before? Your air intake will likely be a point of restriction also, unsure if that will present itself as an issue at 200awkw or 250awkw
  9. Yep, Nissan Sports Muffler. Its what I've got in my car. No ones tuned with e-manage in SA yet; Ive got one sitting on my shelf for, Im slowly organising all my parts & funds to get that done at Willall
  10. If memory serves, its actually the Nissan Sports Muffler - not the nismo one actually
  11. Not necessarily true; Injectors/Fuel pump/Emanage is only necessary when you start chasing numbers. Ive had a high flowed turbo for over a year without needing to do the above. You can choose NOT to do the turbo but it'd be silly to expect it to last forever; you can either wait for it to let go or pre-empt it with an upgrade. There are a few rebuild/highflow options - if you're not chasing numbers then you should be able to get away with a rebuild in the region of $1k I believe & this will be pretty close to stock spec with the advantage of a steel wheel and a touch more power/response. Bang for buck, Plenumn spacer would be the first & easiest thing to do. After that, ensure the ehaust dump doesnt have the cat in it. Sway bars will definitely help with going around corners. Thats my 2c at least
  12. Not to keep it too on topic with M35 info; but you've just reminded me that we noticed this on my car a couple of months ago - and it was no worse many weeks after that iniital spotting (when we did my sway bars). A very slow weep. Fluid levels are still fine also. Would be interested to know the verdict on how much a new rack might fetch. Theres been a few M35s wrecked in the country, and several brought in for parting out - and yet we're still not seeing an abundance of parts avaliable
  13. I think you'll find the username 'l02iez' isnt as different as you might have initially thought
  14. It was on the other forum
  15. Id have thought that it might go into limp mode also actually, if the O2 readings werent in line with what the ECU was expecting for a given AFM voltage
  16. I should probably show my face, just to spite Robbie
  17. I think I rememeber reading a little while ago that they (evo wagons) could only be brought in as personal imports
  18. 93k on the clock.. killed two AFMs, Accessories tensioner pulley & belt had to be replaced, and the AC needed to be regassed.. thats really all thats died to my knowledge.
  19. In terms of results (torque)? Yep Fitment? Well mine came with all the necessary bits but as for bonnet popping etc, it t may depend on the height of the spacer & if you have an NM35 bonnet or PNM35 bonnet.. but I obviously dont run the engine cover any more either.
  20. Because then he wouldnt have a track car
  21. Z33 should line up, pretty sure someone put one into a V35 (with some minor cutting etc)
  22. At least I didnt start a thread called "Where to put it" </offtopic>
  23. Can you wash mine while you're at it?
