  1. I got my OBDlink connected over wifi to HobDrive, there was an nm35 profile under Nissan when I went looking. I'm guessing thats your config Matt. The first page of sensors seems okay but the rest seemed a bit useless. Not the most intuitive app but it seems to have a fair bit of functionality.
  2. "The mounting requires cutting of reinforcement. " Im going to assume that'd be more trouble than its worth
  3. I might dig out my OBDLink and see if I can get it to work with the HobDrive demo. I never had any luck with their scan tool app, but it'd be a nice win if it works with an alternative app! Im not going to hold my breath though
  4. . Remove the Door Panel 2. With the door open, lift UP and HOLD the Window Switch until the Window is fully closed. * Do not use the Window auto-closing function * Do not release the Switch before the Window is fully closed 3. Get inside the vehicle and close the door. * You need to close the door so the Door Switch is fully depressed 4. Press and HOLD the Window Regulator Motor Reset Switch. While holding the Reset Switch, press DOWN and HOLD the Window Switch until the Window is fully opened. Do not use the Window auto-opening function * Do not release the Switch before the Window is fully opened 5. Release the Reset Switch. Then, lift UP and HOLD the Window Switch until the Window is fully closed. * Do not use the Window auto-closing function * Do not release the Switch before the Window is fully closed 6. Open the Door to release the Door Switch. The Window Glass should partially move down. 7. Re-install the Door Panel.
  5. I've killed at least 3 OEM Nissan ones, I don't have a pod filter or power duct. They've failed in dry conditions and in wet.. no rhyme or reason. Scottys has held strong for over 12 months now I think? Touch wood.
  6. More like he didnt pay his hosting bill
  7. I would've started looking for a leak when it hit 70! Good one. I've got the larger plate on the front and rear, I think it looks okay - it admittedly came that way from the previous owner but I never even contemplated getting a standard front. What are you thinking in terms of tuning options next?
  8. ugh. Try this one now
  9. Fixed the link, still worth seeing: http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g152743931
  10. The Kenstyle body kit would be doing you no favours, it sits a fair bit lower at the front than a stock bumper.
  11. You dont have an Informeter plugged in and stashed somewhere?
  12. Sweet, so then its possibly this is the only M35 kicking around with hand controls!
  13. Im sure I remember someone talking about getting something similar fitted to a Stagea; unsure if it was in Australia or not - but it was for an individual who was in a wheelchair.
  14. Found it, and not where I expected it to be. Haven't parked there for a while. The greatest thing is the History view.. you can see what else was parked there over time. Back in 2007, my mates VK was there And after that as my old Laser in 2009
  15. Very interested in this!
  16. Looks good Erop! Any significantly measurable drops in temperature? I popped another OEM AFM yesterday (I think that's my third?), I was only 1km from home though - so not too far to limp it. I fortunately had one of Scottys 'after market' units on hand so I swapped that in & it was happy days. Haven't bothered to clear the code yet, but its driving fine
  17. Didnt Craig try venting the engine by popping the back of the bonnet also? Could've sworn I'd seen this done before.
  18. Interesting. Let us know how you get on!
  19. Driving over to Melbourne, Beau?
  20. Great write up Alex, this is actually a really good post for how to remove the steering wheel in general actually! That's something I've been meaning to look in to, I've got a good condition spare one I've been meaning to fit; now I have no excuse not to
  21. Still going back and forth with them on it. I'll let you know when I've got anything concrete At this point though, I would hold off.
  22. No dice, I'll raise it on their forums but I doubt it'll go far! I might raise the point that the box does say it supports Japanese cars 2002 onwards and mine is MY02
  23. Will update with results for sure Sounds like a few people have had dramas though, Im hoping they're just a bit inept and unable to follow some pretty basic instructions (I glanced at the user guide.. its pretty clear). Time will tell In terms of what app, their android one is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=OCTech.Mobile.Applications.OBDLink and iOS one is https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/obdlink/id879636351?mt=8 theres also a windows application http://www.obdlink.com/software/ I believe the device should work with other apps, time will tell? I've not looked in to that.
  24. Received my OBDLink today - down side is I won't have a chance to play with it until tomorrow night Im not holding my breath that it'll work with our bizarre cars but stranger things have happened. Wonder if Lakes101 has his unit yet!
  25. A turbosmart unit on the piping between the FMIC and the TB would be a Blow off Valve rather than a Boost Controller. The Boost Controller is, in a stock configuration at least, clipped/bolted on the engine block next to the air intake. It has an 'in' and 'out' valve; the 'in' valve plumbs in from a tee piece off the boost line running down the front of the engine towards (and then over down to the turbo), the 'out' valve plumbs in to the back of the intake (at the top, just in front of the aircon [i think..] line). Sound like something you've got? I don't have a photo of a complete engine bay on hand =/
