  2. Its possible their demo car was an ARX I guess; which may account for that "Not going higher than stock" issue they had (Given the ARX sits 2cm higher than RS/RX). Irrespective, if Dale and Iain are suggesting they'll go higher than stock RS/RX then that's good enough for me
  3. Possible. Or they had no idea what was going on. You woulda thought they'd do what they can to get the sale - but they actively discouraged me from getting them because I wanted to go a touch higher than stock.
  4. When I enquired with Just Jap they didnt believe they could get it to above stock height - they thought they could get JUST to stock height.. but no higher. They, apparently, asked the workshop next to them who fitted the BC's to their workshop/demo car and that was what they thought also. I are teh confused.

  8. Id say the list was generated via an insurance company list of 'known cars'. Its not a comprehensive list, and if they were aware of the car it'd be banned.
  9. There are that many cars for sale at the moment, many at stupidly low prices, and none of them are budging. Call me selfish, but im hoping yours doesnt sell so I can continue to follow this thread
  10. From memory, I got one @ trade prices for sub $200 ex-melbourne. Best bet for a 'cheap' one would be YAJ but you'll never know the story behind one of those. Could last a week or a life time.
  11. These things seem like consumable parts! It almost feels like if your M35 dies, its your AFM. I dont think I see anything crop up even CLOSE to as frequently. Almost feel like buying a cheapie and throwing it in the cubby hole

  13. Someone else may know better, but to the best of my knowledge you cant private import a PNM35 and get Northshore to comply it - they just wont do it. As for the rules of what P platers can/cant drive.. theyve never made sense

  15. So you want an N/A M35? Theres only one option then; a Series 2 PNM35 from Northshore. Pretty sure you cant import and comply one yourself, they're the only people with the relevant credentials to comply them in the country.

  17. Good luck. We jus binned my trip to Perth for this week, was meant to fly out at 7am, that flight got cancelled.. moved it to a 3pm flight.. again cancelled.. just decided to not even bother.
  18. I believe my 'stock' alarm had a backup battery in the passenger footwell, just behind the plastic panel that houses the flare. Might be worth checking that?

  24. I got mine fitted at GT Autosound, really clean job. Only feature I lost was my mirrors cant/wont point at my rear wheels when I reverse any more, and the mirrors dont automatically tuck in (And yes, Im aware of the switches on the dash that are meant to control all that ). They MAY be able to fix that if I asked, but I never had time to look into it and it doesnt really bother me.
