Thats my opinion also; Impul wouldnt be covering it in an epoxy if it wasnt possible to read off what they'd put on it

Speaking of decent kays.. I noticed Iron Chef has an ARX advertised for landed and complied at $11k. Cream leather interior (not the baby puke orange one), 100k on the clock.. Pretty good deal by the sounds of it - Id presonally budget for a turbo changeover if buying it, but even with that in mind its a bit of a steal.

They covered all the pins on the hitachi chip with an epoxy on mine, presumably so you can't 'easily' clone it. That might be what you're thinking of?

I find it makes a fair difference on mine, dare I ask are you sure you opened it up the whole way? bigkevracer was in my car for half the SA Stagea cruise on the weekend and thought the exhaust sounded like it almost had a slight leak at 2-2.5k RPM when on the highway cruising..I dropped it into silent and I think the reaction was basically a 'Well, yep. That switch is definitely working, and you definitely dont have a leak'. Stealth mode ftw

+1 to that; they've got a black M35 on there with a bunch of Nismo options (exhaust, spoiler, suspension) at the moment - quite reasonably priced too! Id be checking that one out for sure

Theres a few different options; you could buy a new/used centre console, AC controls, etc from Japan and get all that fitted - or possibly some half way method whereby you 'cut' up the console. Best person to speak to about your options with it would be Chris Rogers (hes a member here on SAU) - hes somewhat of an expert with all things electrical in the M35 and V35

Looks nice, only down side with that one (imho) is the integrated bose stereo - meaning you cant easily just put in a new single/double DIN stereo - and if it (the bose stereo) dies, it takes the aircon controls out with it. Id check the 'For Sale' section on here - I know a few guys are parting ways with their Stags at amazing prices at the moment; but unsure of where they're located.

Yep, Id say its on par if not better than our 2002 Ford Laser and similar vintage Focus; which imho is pretty good considering how big they are!
