  1. Check the fuse box behind the battery; they have a habit of flooding. I cant recall if that one specifically has fuses for CAM/Crank/TB sensors... but it's an easy check.
  2. Ouch! Will check them out over the weekend then, good tip Scotty & Dale!
  3. That was for the pair I didn't remove them, did look them over and they looked to be in good nick. The strut guy actually refitted them to ensure they'd have sufficient force to hold the boot & raise it easily. Oddly enough, he'd done a few M35s and said that each of them had different pressure ratings on the struts, not vastly different - always north of 1000nm.
  4. Got the boot struts re-gassed to 1200nm. Why didn't I do this sooner? $96 very well spent if you actually use the boot.
  5. Threads shouldn't be deleted just because you're trying to sell the car without mentioning its a RWO in the sale description.
  6. I'm sure you've thought of it but you may need to get some load resistors to put in to the blinker loom. With LED's replacing the standard bulbs they'll all blink a bit fast... Unless you want that effect
  7. Understood! Whenever I have seen another blue M35 I do think "Damn, thats a good colour"
  8. Got down to the shed to take a look at it this morning, unfortunately its the BCM loom; not the ECU Sorry mate!
  9. Where abouts are you located Jason? I think I have a spare loom lying around.
  10. ECU Pin out you say? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/323254-m35-ecu-pinout/page-3#entry5590439
  11. Nothing local, but yeah IM or Streeter can sort this one out for you http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d148045989 Depends on your definition of 'expensive' too though.
  12. Yep, that looks like it!
  13. Weird, my drivers window has started doing the same thing this week. I've just avoided using the Auto setting as a result
  14. I was half asleep in a taxi heading in to the CBD in Sydney; I saw an M35 with either a flat black wrap/paint or one with a stuffed paint job - we were stationary and it flew by. Around 9am near Macquarie St / Harbour tunnel entrance. Anyone seen that kicking around?
  15. I believe at least one of the Russian guys that posts here has somewhere in the region of 200-300,000km on the clock as well.
  16. 3 months is nothing for a Kickstarter product! I'll be impressed if we see it in 3 months, Im anticipating at least a 9 month wait. It took about 12 months to get my Pebble, its been 12 months since I backed Radiate Athletics for a tshirt, its been about 4 months since I backed for the Neat Ice kit Not being a hater, just realistic. I backed the OBDLink as well
  17. Have you done an idle air reset? Every car is different, if you've just thrown in a used ECU I'd suggest that it doesn't know that your car isn't set up for what its used to. I'd give that a whirl, procedure detailed here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/275099-m35-still-stalling-not-idling-properly/#entry4662009
  18. If they need an actual car then Id be able to make mine available
  19. If Jesse is able to get a contact at Mines that can look up their historical tunes, can they pull the info for 27057 as well?
  20. Pretty much. The Mines website suggests they do " speed limiter, rev limiter, boost cut control, and firing timing." firing timing being japenglish for 'ignition timing' I'd say. It'd be interesting to know what power its making as it stands! You could try contacting them to see if they can tell you what was done; it might be on file in their systems with a reference to the car's VIN.
  21. Yeah, 'Mines' as in the workshop. They did custom tunes etc, yours is one of those. if you take off the bolts on the cradle and pull the ECU out (you can leave it plugged in, no dramas with that) you'll see a gold plate on it to indicate this if I'm not mistaken
  22. Nope, thats a Mines tuned ECU.
  23. Bit of a thread revival; I spotted this on Kickstarter today https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obdsol/obdlink-mx-wifi-a-wireless-gateway-to-vehicle-obd it might be worth backing. Sounds like it supports a wide variety of protocols; can anyone confirm the one our car actually uses though?
