  1. Two posts above you, M I K E
  2. Cheers mate. Yeah, I would if I didnt need more work done on the front bar - Ive got some cracks in the fiberglass on the passenger side near the headlights When I get that fixed up (and the dent above the drivers front wheel arch!) I'll get them to touch up/respray the front bar.
  3. Spent a few hours cleaning the boat yesterday; quick wash, clay, swirl remove, polish, wax. Christ my right shoulder hurts Highlighted how badly my front bar needs to be fixed up too, lots of little chips at the front. The paint is silky smooth to touch now though.
  4. Saw a white M35 at Stateswim Norwood yesterday, I think it had eyelids on the headlights and some decent looking rims (Maybe 19's)
  5. Is 'Clearing' the ECU to reset the Idle level the same as 'Clearing' the error codes as per http://www.skylinesa...s-the-easy-way/ ?
  6. That sounds like it'd be Robbie, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/350859-c34-stagea-vs-victorian-flood-waters/
  7. and when abouts had you planned on elaborating about this!
  8. Probably wont amount to anything, but possibly contact the site you were using and tell them about it? Might stop some other poor bloke from sending through the cash.
  9. It seems to be an increasingly common occurrence!
  10. Assuming I have stock speakers, I think the base system sounds fine - Im no audiophile, and I dont turn it up to '11' but I maintain it sounds decent
  11. Nah, I bet they want to see if they have another BOV lying around so they dont have to part out the M35
  12. Im routinely burning through petrol at 15-20L/100km in my M35 when Im only doing short trips. Give me a long highway and I can hit 10L/100, but the stop starts KILL me.
  13. Maybe on a C34...
  14. Hey Aaron, did you ever find out about the flow from our stock fuel pump (ie was it actually necessary to upgrade it when you went for bigger injectors)?
  15. Just because shes going to show her face doesnt mean she isnt still trying to scam you mate, not to sound too negative but it may just be a 'long con'. I truely hope it all works out for the best, of course
  16. This. Great looking ride. Rims look perfect. I want them!! Any internal/engine mods?
  17. Disassembled my 'stock' seats to remove the airbag sensors today, drivers side had the plug snipped from and when I went to directly wire it in I noticed the wiring on the plugs looked a little odd.. Id say the drivers side has the 2.2 OHM resistor between the wires (couldnt take it apart - the unit was covered in heat shrink and was 'boxy' so I guess they heat shrunk around a small plastic box which contains the resistor connecting the two plugs)! But I was able to plug the passenger side back in, so Ive secured that to the seat and reset the airbag light. Now I get to play the waiting game to see if the blinky light returns
  18. Sorry to hear that mate, pull the rip cord and gtfo. Dare I ask how you 'met' her?
  19. lol indeed. The car doesnt have any markings on the rear hatch which wouldn't aid in identifying the model number I guess. Its certainly an oddity.. would definitely want a very thorough inspection of the thing done if you were looking to buy it.
  20. Although the 250 AR-X is not technically eligible for compliance it MAY have some how slipped through the cracks. Ive heard of it before. A VIN number would also confirm it (Someone can FAST it). Im sure you could just email the dude for either of those details, for morbid curiosities sake
  21. One photo of the engine bay would give us the definitive answer
  22. Likewise. To the point where it spooled up as I started the car after I installed it & the fmic.. which obviously took several hours and everything was well and truely cold by the end of it (and my AC is always turned on)
  23. I was worried about this, so when I crimped the cables I used some plugs so that Id be able to easily swap them over if I got it wrong. Seems to be okay though!
  24. The ATO will call you, on occasion, and perform POI (Proof of Identity) by asking you certain questions - they are random, and wont always be your address etc, but it can be. Of course you have the option of requesting that YOU call THEM back (through the national switchboard) if you feel hazy about it. I guess its better than them calling up and disclosing personal details without confirming who they're talking to. On the subject of insurance, do you guys call up your insurance company every time you do a modification (ie some sort of bolt on upgrade) to your car?
  25. No worries Chief . Ohhhh the other Duncan! Agreed Cheers mate.
