  1. Not to mention once the lights are 'on' I wouldn't call the drive around lobethal a 'cruise' its more of a 'crawl', and even thats being a little generous
  2. Less typing, more spanners
  3. Im hoping they release the M35s as DLC.. but I will end up getting the 260 any how
  4. I've got a query about how accurate the fuel consumption readings are, mine seems to be indicating I'm averaging ~10.2km/L (~9.8L per 100km) which seems a bit too economical? Anyone with a leaf screen or long time user have any insight? Perhaps I've been more conservative this past week, I only had a quarter tank (according to the fuel gauge) when I put it on so I've got no way of determining if its right or not. Need to top it up to full and do a comparison!
  5. That doesnt look quite right to me.. I bought a set of http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT they're not too bad, a bit tight to get in sometimes - and I managed to over tighten & rip the head off one of the screws (drilled out the plastic stub left in, no dramas ) but they're a hell of a lot less frustrating than the standard clips. Im guessing theres probably a technique to getting the stock clips out, but Im too retarded for that
  6. All the quotes Ive received from Jesse include his commission/fees, so that shouldnt be an issue. Cant speak highly enough of the service he offers, its first class.
  7. Probably due to the digital change over
  8. I just dont see an XR6 ute as being anywhere near as refined as our Stags. If you were wanting a bit more poke, then obviously theres a question of how far down the rabbit hole you want to go - but Id say you could get some decent gains from your car without too much more money; to maxamise your exahust setup I'd say an F-Con V or Greddy E-Manage would be your best investment, should be getting you towards 200awkw on the stock turbo (Based on Scottys experiences) - plus its the exact opposite of a bogan spec ute
  9. indeed ! Cant say I didnt try
  10. Not to be a party pooper but perhaps some of this discussion should take place in http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...ad-t342557.html ?
  11. Surely you need to test it, you know - make sure it works... The financial controller wouldnt want to give you a broken christmas present, would she?
  12. 350z springs SHOULD fit. Stock springs on the M35 are the same as V35 and 350z - or at least thats what I was told by Sinergy motorsports when I was trying to source springs
  13. The fuse for the boot is in the kick panel, the Missus and I translated the fuse box some time ago http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=5108325 Hope that helps
  14. too slow!

  16. To the best of my knowledge, HICAS only came on AR-X models. An AXIS will have HICAS if it started off life as an AR-X also. Given that the model on the back of your car is 250t RS, I'd say 'No' to HICAS. But we've been wrong about your car before
  17. $4 for the lot! But seriously.. How much for the Emanage? I assume thats the emanage ultimate you mentioned in a different thread? Do you have a harness for it? Cheers, Dunc
  18. Phew. Lucky it was an easy fix.
  19. Managed to source a custom dump pipe, it arrived first thing this morning at my office all wrapped in bubbles. Now its sitting next to me, mocking me. Perhaps I should stop getting things delivered at work, it makes the day drag.
  20. I contemplated trying to bend it but figured Id probably some how break it, knowing my luck Theres already a cable running down there for the fog lights, I'll sort something out eventually.. Im thinking those little square stick on patches with tiny cable ties built in; one or two of them should keep it nice and flush. Interesting thing I was oblivious too initially, the branding on mine! RE雨宮 (RE Amemiya), as in the tuning house for rotaries. Weird. Everything was new, in box. Protective plastic film still over the screen. Who knows
  21. Got around to installing it, the missus came over and wasnt too keen on me sitting in the car for 30-45mins last night Never mind, I had a good think about where would be practical for the unit and initially tried zip tying it on the right hand side of the steering wheen; that proved to be an awesome sun light reflector in to my face - so I settled for it on the left hand side. The display itself is nice and clear, very easy to read I used the double sided tape to mount it, wasnt possible to get it completely flush but I think it should hold Didnt take any photos of the wiring, but I went with the Red - Orange connection, turns on and off with the car. I tucked the cables up into the opening in the panel next to the OBD plug, havent cable tied/taped back the cables flush yet but its out of the way for the time being
  22. I assume you werent just babying it.. I cant recall your interior, I take it you dont have any PSI/Bar gauges? Not to sound too one eyed, but I wouldn't have said our cars were so slow that they'd feel completely un-boosted after driving an R33 around for a few days! Maybe take a 1.2L ford laser out for a couple of hours and then come back to the Stag
  23. Well.. technically, my car may be broadcasting in some licensed bands of the spectrum but I cant be sure and I dont want to look it up the TV in my car broadcasts the audio over the FM bands to be received by the headunit so that the audio comes through the cars stereo speakers (Its genius, really).. but the frequencies it uses are obviously in the japanese band - and who knows what sort of license is required to broadcast in them!
  24. Mine certainly wasnt.. Still havent done anything about that
