  1. I will let a mate know you have it. His car got defected almost 2 years ago and he never got it sorted out. Waste of a nice GTR. This is exactly what he needs to get it sorted
  2. I would imagine that you would need to keep in AWD or do a bit of trickery on the ECU. Front wheel bearings will require the end of the CV joints to be bolted in place as they do hold the wheel bearings together. Whats stopping you from putting the DE in front of the AWD box? I dont believe there as any reason that you could not bolt them together

  4. Sorry mate, just saw your in Melbourne. If you were in Sydney i would say prepare the vaso as regardless of what they catch you for they rape you for everything up here, but Melbourne may be a bit different
  5. Where are they sending you for the test? As i have said previously a mates GTR got done for noise, pod filters and a boost controller and the tester said if the car isn't stock its going to the EPA. He wanted stock Nissan cat or an EPA approved import cat with paperwork to prove it complied, stock FPR, stock exhaust, stock FMIC etc

Should have said that in the first place then as that changes the whole thing.... fair call on not wanting to unload the diff oil on the floor, but as i have said, simply pulling the fuse does not mean that the front diff needs no oil. Which you seem to think is the case..... Just some friendly advice thats all mate. I have built more of these things than i care to think about and would prefer to say something than see someone seize a diff
  7. Then thankfully your not working on my car!!! You do realise that the front drive shafts will still turn the diff over and the bearings in that diff need oil to lubricate them regardless of if they have drive from the engine or not..... in order to stop the diff turning over you need to remove the front drive shafts and you cant remove the front drive shafts to stop it from turning as the wheel bearings will come apart.... get some oil in it and live with the leak or you will seize the diff

The editing is awesome and the you certainly got in amongst it all and got good footage but music in vids like that just isnt my thing. The cars make much better music in my eyes

  13. Thats why you dont do it.... i know your only trying to help people out but with the stipulations WSID put on these events your just opening yourself up to problems. The reason WSID have put these stipulations on as they are not a day for the spectators, they are a day for the racers. If someone wants a ticket they should just organise to grab one from a driver and thats that
  14. Havent bothered as he said he was already doing one and i have other more inportant things to put my cash into at the moment. We have just bought land so the car wont have anything done to it for some time now
  15. I call bullshit on the valve in the exhaust and i wouldnt believe them till its removed. We had this issue on a VL once and it took us ages to find it. Didnt find it till we dropped the ehaust off and suddenly it made power. We ended up finding out that it was installed backwards and was blowing closed.
  16. I lost about 40rwkw going from BP 98 to E85.... i gained a very easy 10mph down the black top so dyno's are nothing but tuning tools. Isnt this also a fresh engine? Get it run in and then see how it goes If your worried about the final figure get the car your comparing it to and go for a lesiurely cruise with him to compare performance
  17. Are you a drag racer? Forget what the dyno says and take it for a strap down the black top.Dyno's are a tuning tool and should not be used to compare setups. There are to many variables that can sway dyno figures

  20. Every car is different, every driver is different..... take em both and give them both a try is what i would say. Though on a GTR with modest power (330rwkw) almost anothing will be fine. You want it to wheel spin so you dont break a gearbox. I have a mate who runs on Bob Jane All Rounders and runs 11.3's with 315ish rwkw

  23. Even if your Falcon is caged and ANDRA teched for 10's you will only get one run on this day Michael. In fact if your car is known to run 10's you may not even get one run... Private days like this are not open to cars that run anything faster than an 11.0000000, you run into the 10's you get sent home no ifs, no buts. I think bikes are also limited to a 10.5 and they get sent home also.
  24. Thats a nice boost curve right there. I havent seen one like that in a while Nice increase over 98 as well but would be keen to see the difference on the same boost
