i to am after a tough auto box but it must be able to handle 850+ engine hp. Are there any 4 speed auto's that will handle this power as we were hoping to try and be able to cruise the car on the freeway without the car revving its guts out!!!!

i pity anyone who has to get the box out without a gearbox jack however i will say that doing GTR clutches has to be one of my favourite jobs at work, they are so easy to get out

yes you can. If you dont want to change to a pull type clutch just redrill the holes for the slave cylinder and tap them and the slave will bolt straight on. There are 2 spots on the R33 box for the new holes. Then swap the front end of your box onto the R33 box and use the old push clutch fork and bearing. Its a very simple job. When swapping the front of your box over be sure to use some grey sealer on the bottom bolts as they help seal thhe box from the bell housing.

the things you speak of are a little easier to prove as there is a physical element. I am sure everyone knows that when half your face is missing due to gravel rash that its going to hurt, it will only be the level of pain that varies lol As for who is a better workshop, that is a personal opinion, and one which can only be made when both sides of the coin have been tried.

I have pre purchase inspected a number of Autostyle cars and Dom must hate me..... I cant speak for all their cars but i do know Dom will refuse point blank at having us, being Advan Performance, inspect them for fear of us telling it how it is. A customer of ours was going to buy a 34 GTR from Autostyle and when Dom found out he wanted us to inspect it he refused the sale for fear of us "writing the car off". I personally inspect these cars and am not about to lie to anyone, if its a shit box i will tell you, likewise if its a great car I would strongly suggest having any import, especially an R32 GTR, inspected prior to purchase by someone who can check everything for you and knows the cars inside out. 32 GTR's are getting quite old now and loads of them are really showing their age and the true kilometres travelled.

its great to hear is all is well and everyones cars got out. Has there been any further word on the structural damage to the building?? i went past on Sunday and saw that massive f*#k off I beam up stairs that was bent like a banana!!!!! only a huge ammount of heat could have bent that beam like it has been.

what is the track like for pictures??? I would volunteer if i knew i would be there and be staying all day long but as its my only day off for the week i will more than likely catch up on some sleep..... if i do make it though i will certainly be snapping a few pics

tilting the engine back will maybe make it a little easier, but it is not needed if the box is spun into the right position to start with

Hey all, Bought a set of 800cc injectors that i no longer have any need for as we used 1000's instead. These were bought from E-Bay as Sard 800's though when received were not in Sard boxes. I am 90% sure they are genuine however was a little sceptical regarding their authenticity due to the packaging. I have seen these injectors used in an EVO and they worked fine. They are brand new and still wrapped in the plastic and come with injector plugs as well. Located in Sydney. Asking $750 for the 6. PM or e-mail [email protected] Brad

I would certainly have it tested. Its common for the sender unit to fail, though its also common for the oil pump to literally come apart from the back end which also then shows low oil pressure. we have a Trust gauge at work that we normally hook up to make sure its not the pump. Takes about 20 minutes to test and then you know for sure whats wrong with it

does it come with the fuel rail??? any closer more detailed pics???

as has already been said you need to twist the box about 45 degress clockwise (when looking from the back of the car) to get it back in.
