unfortunately WSID also have the ability to make and change rules as they like, and it quite often happens it sucks, but we are extremely lucky that they are even allowing any private test and tune at all.... they use to limit it to only 2 spectators per car, they are being very lenient allowing 5 so please people, dont tell your mates about this day and get them to rock up hoping they will bluff their way in because they wont.... all they will succeed in doing is having SAU's name put on a black list to never hold another TNT again. And i am sure that will piss alot of people in here off

I would look at having some spare cash laying about just in case it needs rebulding... as yes, the R32 RB26 is prone to some small problems which become rather huge in the end

I would say its a good deal, BUT, i would like to see some of their work first as it sounds too good to be a decent job! Its a fairly straight forward swap but there is a bit more than just dropping the engine in the hole!!!! most shops will charge you about $6k for just an engine and box!!

Hey all We are after an R32 GTR track car. Rego is not wanted but the car must have all running gear. The running gear does not have to be operational but it would kinda be preferred. Interior does not need to be present as it is only going to be removed anyway. Would prefer something in fairly decent condition externally but if it has light damage we would still consider it. JAGR33 i'm suprised that your car made so much more power in shootout. We lost about 20 rwkw in shootout compared to non shootout. Has anyone else lost power in shootout?

with those size turbo's you might be better looking at a stroker kit, HKS 2.8 - OS Giken 3.0l - Trust 2.7 litre kit, as a 2.6 with those size turbo's is going to have to be one hell of a revver to make use of the power band. I also heard, yet again, that Apexi was no longer..... anyone else heard this???

Hey Paul, that just proves it's street driven It's a big step from the 11's to 10's, we are going to have to decide if we are going to want to race often enough to justify all the gear for tech inspection or just run the time once.

Stace, with your bellhousing shield did you get the blanket or the scatter sheild?

I would reccomend Ultimate Performance Imports in Melbourne, speak to Dean. Ultimate Performance Imports I purchased a 33 GTR motor from Dean about 18 months ago, he told me they did a leak down on it and it was a very good, and that it was. When the motor arrived we took bearing caps off etc to check it and it was one of the cleanest motors internally my workshop had seeen. So much so it made 340 kw atw without a hitch and is still a very healthy engine. Would not hesisite to purchase another engine from them.
