  1. that chick would be my girlfriend :D:D Very worth it this conversion is, but unless you want to spend some bucks and get the job done right, i would not think about it.....
  2. I have only had experiance with the Profec B and would highly reccomend them. Not as many features as the AVCR but very good at what it's built for, stable boost control even at higher boost pressures eg 22 psi and very easy to use and the benefit of the optional switch on the steering wheel.
  3. no, just had alot of work done by the guys down there so i am always happy to recomend people to them They are an awesome bunch of guys, and although a little expensive at times, do some of the best work i have seen yet
  4. Different core's, V-SPL is around 600x300x78mm while the R-SPL is around 600x300x115mm. R-SPL has a better core for higher power applications, ie drag etc but it's worth a bit more too and doesn't generally come with piping like the V-SPL kits do. if you need more info than that give the guys at Advan a call 9647 1326
  5. Trust filters are definitely a non oiled filter element..... i dont know of any shops in Melbourne but Advan Performance in Sydney stock these filters and could get you the replacement element without any problems.....
  6. I think they are legit SARD items, i have seen a website somewhere not long ago with the normal reg and also anodised blue and red ones. can't remember where it was now though sorry.
  7. you got an R34 GTR RB26 for $1500..... dude, i know you told us its none of our business but i would seriously doubt anyone would sell a good condition, legitimate R34 RB26 for $1500.... this engine and gearbox would go for close to $10,000 and your teling me someone is giving up all that extra cash..... are you sure its an RB26 and not just an RB25 with RB26 rover covers, spark plug covers and timing case??? as for the conversion...... what do you want from the car??? is it going to be a drag car, circuit car, street car, weekend car, daily driver.... all this will come into play when making your decision for what path to travel... how much power are you seriously wanting to make regularly.... you need to tell us what your intentions are for the car for us to give you our honest idea's......
  8. this is where the decision has to be made, i totally agree. If he is serious about his motorsport i would highly recomend this converiosn, if he is just after a quick streeter i wouldnt waste my cash as any S15 with 200-230rwkw will certainly be a weapon :D
  9. they will handle the power, but for how long...... at the end of the day the RB26 will handle 350rwkw day in day out with turbo's and the usual support systems..... an SR20 will have its days numbered at this power level.
  10. Just Jap sell them here in Sydney but since your in QLD it may be easier to get them made up there. if not here is the link, give them a call, i'm sure they would send some up to you. http://www.justjap.com
  11. Most poeple do it cause to be honest unless you have some seriou cash and an awesome engie builder the SR wont last at power levels above 330rwkw..... at this power level you will have to have the block sleeved and have some pretty serious internals.... when you think of what it could cost to have an RB26 in a 200SX it makes sense to replace the SR. An RB26 wil hold 350rwkw with ease and would not take a heap of work to get it there, some nice turbo's, cams, gearsand the ususal bolt ons would support this pwoer level Chassis balance wise...... there is no hassles with an RB26 in a 200SX if your not a very serious track racer. There is about 100kgs difference and most of this would be the gearbox. Using an RB26 you will see very little change to the handling and traction wil actually be improved with the right suspension set up due to the more linear power delivery. kw for kw the RB26 will make a far quicker and nicer car to drive than the SR ever will Definitely a converison worth doing if you can afford to do it properly.... brakes, oil cooler and larger sump are a definite for logevity of the RB26 as well
  12. Black on yellow plates...... not that it matters, but they were in good condition when placed on storage so you wont have to pay the fee to get one remade if you want them to be perfect...... Open to offers..... been in storage for the last 12 months. PM or reply here with offers...... Brad
  13. I would be seriously questioning the engine at that price but if it is all legit and in good condition jump on it. I still would hope you have a crap load of money to do it though cause to do it properly you will need it.
  14. Its not this one is it??? if it is, would you COD it to Sydney??? If not, are you able to find me a pic of this model??
  15. any more specs or pics of this beast...... curiosity killed the cat
  16. that other thread is absolute GOLD!!!!!! dont you just laugh your heart out at dreamers like that :D
  17. Awesome day, some seriously fast cars out on the track all day long which was awesome to see :D Shame a few left a bit worse for wear :( GRACER blew a power steering belt ripping the crank angle sensor wiring out :( got it bodgied up and got home without power sterring which was great to see.... the white R32 GTR that lost the bonnet was disapointing... appeared to be pretty cosmetic but windscreens arent cheap.... B-Man - am i wrong in assuming you were driving the white R33??? i saw the car blowing heaps of smoke but wasnt to sure if you made it back or not??
  18. Demon, Thanks for that. Providing the right hand side one is ok i'll probably take them off your hands, let me know how much you want for them once you checked them out. If you decide to sell the brakes i am interested in a price...... Thanks
  19. Demon - as per PM, would you have the rear hubs/wheel bearings for sale?? and what about the brakes...... are they sold yet???
  20. The 044 pumps are the 600Hp external pumps aren't they? just that i have heard of some people mentioning using these as internal pumps.
  21. i second the race track as well.... Oran Park will be holding off street drift nights apparently very soon so best to attend that..... otherwise, do it on the street and i hope the cops catch you.....
  22. I also agree, but i am also over the whole R33 GTST thing, they were nice to start with but now they are like arseholes...... did someone say modern day Gemini????
  23. whats the go with english instructions and warranty??? is there a full Australian warranty (ie a workshop that has some sort of affiliation with Nengun in Australia) or am i stuck sending stuff back to Japan for claims??
  24. I hear a few Honda's will be doing their best to be at this day to take on the Skylines and Z's :D Should be a good day, cant wait to see how the battle shapes up
  25. Kingsgrove copped an absolute hammering. It must have been about an inch thick on the roads last night. I had an hours drive round trip to drop Andrea home and it was still an inch thick in Kingsgrove an hour later..... I ended up hiding up the street in the industrial area so i wouldnt get any damage to the car..... its worthless enough as it is without hail damage...... I must admit i never thought i would be able to drift the Corona but last night proved me wrong...... i would upload a pic of what it was like last night and this morning but i cant access picture storage sites from work internet....
