  1. what a day.... copngrats to the Full Lock guys for putting on a top class event. Thanks to all that made it from interstate to compete, and a very special thanks to the Japanese D1 drivers that came out to put on one of the best drift shows i think i have ever seen. Hopefully with a bit of luck the D1 drivers will go back to Japan and talk the event up and bring out a few more drivers and maybe their cars for the next event :) Did i hear someone saying they wanna run an Aussie round of the D1 Grand Prix :D:D:D:D:D
  2. hey dude, thanks for the offer. I can get a brand spankers one from Nissan for $115 and a 3 week wait but i will let you know if i get desperate....
  3. fog lights, high beams and rear spot light shit me to tears.... I wish the Police would pick on people using them instead of picking on people who have BOV's and pod filters.... my eyes arent the best at night as it is and it only makes it worse having these dicks tailing you.....
  4. dacow - i will let Cliffy (FAT18T) know where the vid is if you get some more space. I am sure he would be very appreciative :D So whos racing next meet??? We have some BFG's on the way from QLD and wanna see how the 200 goes??? Is anyone up for another night of street runs???
  5. as the topic says, i am after a shifter out of an RB25 gearbox. Not to fussed if its a short shifter or a standard shifter however a standard shifter would be preferred. If you have one please PM me or drop me an e-mail at [email protected] Thanks Brad
  6. have a read of the street car of the year story in Auto Salon magazine Brett.... apparently the engine that was/or still is in the car has a bad blow by problem and was spewing oil every where....
  7. I love that comment...... doesnt Keir Wilsons car make 650ish kilowatts with its twin T67's.... could this pottentially be Australia's fastest GTR if it was set up for it :D:D and its also great to see that race fuel makes sod all of a difference in such an engine.... and pump fuel can make so much power as well..... wonder where he fuels up as i wouldnt mind using that servo from now on :D
  8. so are any of you guys and gals gonna head out again any time soon??? If i had known some of you were going to be out last night i would have tied to convinve Andrea to race the 200 at a street meet......
  9. thats 180 belongs to a guy with the nickname of BURGERKING on fast fours.... runs a GT30 and makes about 260rwkw. Managed a PB last night of 12. 1with BFG rubber under the ass end
  10. Danny, did you run the ZETI What times did you run??? /edit - rubbish.
  11. your going to need a multi region DVD player. The Playstation 2 wont play them, that i do now, nor will an X Box...... i have 21 of the bastards and can only watch them at my girlfriends house
  12. any chance you wanna sell the rear hubs??? got some noisy wheel bearings we wanna get rid of.....
  13. I know we changed the diff in the 200 for an R32 GTR rear end. It required a modified tail shaft as the rear uni is actually a CV joint assembly which is quite tough. I dont know how interchangeable the rear cradle/diff assembly is between all S13/14/15 R32/33/34' but that the way i would go. Then you can these utilise the larger drive shafts as well.
  14. i wished i had stayed a bit longer now..... sounds like quite a few tough cars turned up Well done to the guys for putting on another great day
  15. Just - the car already has pump, injectors and an ECU so upgrading bits like that arent a worry :) sydneykid - when i rang GCG the other day they told me all they had was exchange cores..... i told them i just want steel wheels put in the stock turbos and they said they dont offer that service, they only do core swaps so damned if i know what shit they are spinning...... i spoke with Peter the other day and i think we will follow his advice and just wait till they give up, if they give up.... by the time i spend cash on steel wheels or different turbos i am $1000 closer to the T517Zs i wanna put on the car after tunign and all thelabour involved. Thanks for all the info guys, it has been much appreciated. Now to find a thread on here from someone who has fitted Trust T517Z turbos to an RB26 :D
  16. Thanks for that Sydneykid, i rang them the other day to get a quote for somethig like that. You must get pretty good rates with them cause they quoted me $1850 x 2 for new cores which is all they can do for me. Given that i would sooner spend the extra cash on some T517Z's and a retune from Advan :D but cash is my limiter at the moment :( nengun currently have the GTSS kits for around the $3300 mark which i pretty cheap as long as you dont get stug by duty and GST
  17. thanks for the replies. PM's sent :P
  18. Thanks Brett, I just searched for the thread and he has sold them already :P would have been perfect.....
  19. i need some advice.... I am looking at changing a pair of turbo's on an RB26 as i want to get rid of the ceramic wheels. Now after doing the conversion i dont have heaps of cash and was wondering if there was a turbo, ie S14/15 T28 or similar, with steel wheels that may bolt straight up to the RB26 manifold and coolant/oil lines without costing an absolute fortune... i dont mind re-doing inlet pipework, but not really interested if it needs much more than that.... now before anyone tells me i shouldnt have done a conversion if i couldnt afford it blah blah blah it is more of a play safe thing i am thinking of doing rather than a have to do it cause i have lost the turbine wheels and got stuck out the back of whoop whoop with turbo problems..... and at the same time i am hoping the car can make some more reliable power :D any help or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. if possible what sort of power levels have been made or could be expected would also be a help. Alternatively i am open to offers of someone pointing me in the direction of some standard sized steel wheel turbo's that may be for sale. Thanks Brad
  20. excuse my ignorance, but these arent steel wheeled are they Pete???? i am doubtful they are but though i would ask.... my RB26 knowledge aint that great
  21. Yes, still for sale but not sure if they will fit RB20. I have heard of people using them but i don't know if any other mods were required. Maybe ring around a couple of workshops and ask them or PM Sydneykid or someone else on here and ask them.
  22. unfortunately the car chewed up a bit more cash then we would have liked Brett :( It was worth it in the end for the small bits we added though :D BFG's are quite hard to find right now though.... i havent had much luck findig any. You got any contacts that could get me some for the right price
  23. so tempting... anyone know where to find some 16 or 17" Nitto's????
  24. they are a great bunch of people. I dare say most will find them expensive but you pay for what you get these days and i can attest to their quality of work :D
  25. Advan Performance in Silverwater have made up there own which look almost identical, they have them in stock for GTR's normally and from memory they are around $250 or so.
