Unless the laws have changed the Police cannot book you unless they pull you over or have photographic evidence that you were at that place at the alleged time It was a few years ago i know, but i was caught doing a burnout through Kingsgrove shopping centre by an on duty Police officer. He was on foot and obviously could not pull me over. He called me at home and had me attaned Kingsgrove Police station. After my confession he told me i could have gotten away with it by saying it was not me, why, because he had no physical proof i had a committed the alleged crime. His word would not be enough to stand up in court were his words. Times have changed but if got sent a fine in the mail i would be attending court to fight it, or at least seeking legal advice

thanks heaps mate. Spent about half an hour today at Nissan and couldnt find the part in FAST. Will ring them tomorrow and get one ordered in how do i get a hold of a copy of FAST???? seems a few "non employees" have obtained copies and it would come in handy at work and home

can anyone find the part number for the plastic part that covers the injector wiring. It runs from the rear to the front of the engine above the throttle bodies and it covers the injector wiring, CAS wiring, air temp sensor wiring etc... would be greatly appreciated also, correct me if i am wrong, but isnt the Nissan parts database downloadable from the net?? could someone give the website i can download it from please

just say it wasnt you and if it was you why didnt the van pull you over after the event "supposedly" happened. Or ask for the video footage of the "supposed" incident They cant send you a speeding ticket without photographic evidence so why is it any different here.

I hear a few people commenting on them being very hard on take up, does everybody experience this or is it just Jim's "full monty" that drives like this I have the decision on what to use in the 200SX, the box blew, so was thinking of using one of Jim's clutches..... i have just been a bit concerned on the clamping force, 4000lbs in this case, and the effects this may have on thrust on the RB's crank.... its a hell of a lot of clamp Can anyone comment on how nice the pedal is on one of Jim's clutches that has above 3500lbs clamp??? i would have thought you would need legs like Arnold to use it

Given the car still retains its full interior and runs on PULP i would be very very happy with 9's Paul At the end of the day i think the righ option is the straight cut PPG dog box, but i dont think i can live with the noise..... they are so damned loud!!!!

We had the same issue with a GTR we prepare and Terry from Award diffs said soemthing about the clutch being partly to blame for second gear crunches..... have a talk to Award Diffs or PPG direct as they can probably give you the fix for it. I am still undecided though..... the box ixnt out so there is plenty of time to decide

sorry to hijack this thread, but as it seems there are a few people here who use the PPG dog box i thought i might throw up some Q's We have finally broken the little old stock RB25 box and am upgrading the gearset..... car makes about 450rwkw and is predominantly street driven, about 5000klms a year. Other than that it gets drag raced with ET Streets and a gearbox breaking 2 step What would people suggest??? Was looking at the helical dog box, this is the quietest option, but am now a little concerned about wear on the dogs. Given i cant get the box out without removing the engine i dont really want to be taking the box out every couple of years just to repair/replace dogs. I am not really a synchro abuser so would the helical synchro box stand up to about flywheel 800hp???? Any suggestions??? pros, cons etc

I work for Advan Performance so its not a job that has been done by somebody with no idea. It utilises the Link plug obviously and that has been spliced into half a GReddy E-Manage harness. The car has been running like this for about 3 years

Hey all I have a Link Plus ECU and harness to suit 32/33 GTR Skyline for sale. Being a Plus it has quite a few features which include Anti Lag, Launch Control, Flat Shift, boost control etc The harness that has been made enables you to simply plug this ECU in to your standard GTR plug and start tuning, no need to cut up your standard wiring harness. The map sensor is also a direct plug in to your AFM plug meaning all the messy wiring has been done for you. Included with this ECU is a 3 bar map sensor and manual. Currently it has a tune for a T78 with 1000cc injectors. Asking $800ono Also for sale is a set of 6 standard GTR coil packs. These are in perfect working order. Offers.... I was at the funeral yesterday and the vibe i get is that the car will not be sold any time soon which is great news. I hope that we can get the nitrous sorted and get it back out to the track and run some quick times with the car as i am know that is what Richard was planning to do in the very near future

i fail to see how 290rwkw would or could run 125mph.... we ran 124 with 340rwkw and N1's. Not saying it hasnt happened on paper, just think something isnt really right there.....

if you hurry up and get that Power FC and Z32 Michael its going to make a bit more yet :D

Getting the power to the ground is not that hard to be honest. A well sorted wheel/tyre/suspension setup lets us put down 410rwkw in 3rd gear and upwards. 1st and 2nd is of course a total and utter waste of time, but its loads of fun in 3rd gear :D Looked like a massive day for UAS and SAU which i would expect nothing else. Great to see so many cars but a huge shame our car hasnt been sorted as it would have been great to get it on the rollers maybe next year!!!

the car crapped an AFM unfortunately. Richard is having the N2O tuned soon and it will be back out at the track, hopefully this Wednesday. As for the box, its definitely not stock and it aint a Holinger I put a HKS box in it about 2 months back. Awesome box and certainly one i would use if i bought myself a GTR

bugger, was also going to attend with a race tune and C16 but if the car is ready i will be attending Compak Attak as well
