Guys i think alot of you have these tyres mixed up with the 555R's, these are only the ZR series which are not the top of the line Nitto..... regardless of this it sounds like even their range under the "R" series might be worth a go.

i wasnt quoted for use of lights and stuff for a drag racing event..... maybe thats where the cost came from..... i got a quote on renting the whole track out which could basically be used as we wished - drift, untimed drag racing, circuit racing - as long as the support was there ie Ambo, track marshalls etc etc

no, its not that expensive Brett...... i use to have the rates and requirements here on my PC at work but i have deleted them.... also read this morning in Speed magazine that CAMS are now going to get involved with drift, burnouts, beginner and advanced driver training, cruising and go-to-whoa events which should be great for motorsport in general

Isnt Eastern Creek for hire anymore for these types of things..... i know you needed in the past an Ambo if you planned to do over 80kph and that was about it..... it wasnt cheap though let me tell you, something like $5000 for a Saturday or Sunday

so all the engine mods are gone now....... still not a bad price though for an R34

it there much engine damage???? i was thinking of the above... buy it and flog it in bits and make some money on it :)
