  1. spotted a tough looking white R32 GTR this morning turning onto Dairy rd? (airport end) heading to Fyshwick. vented bonnet.
  2. mate - Shop around on the repair... Not bagging the mob that gave you the quote, but 22K!!!! looks to me like a straight cut and shut of the rear end.
  3. the offical import figures of the 15 yr old cars was just over 10,000 - not 15,000 or 20,000.... I doubt you can get an R34 GTR over here for under 70k... I'll be keeping my R32 GTR.... period. must remember that a lot of ppl get loans for their cars, some might lose their jobs, some might want to get out of debt etc, some might lose their licence, insurance too much etc etc - hence the turnover.
  4. yep that was the price, stick to $300 though, as that is a good price. I have a trade card, so got mine cheaper
  5. Sorry mate - Ive just bought one direct from Earls - they have the cooler that you have at a special price of $350.63 and the sandwich plate is $53.63 12inch (305mm) x 6inch (155mm) x 2 inch(50mm) Yours is still a good price though - so to everyone else, make him a decent offer! even $300 is a good price note though, that the larger core is $450 (12inch x 12 inch)
  6. plug cover? the oe that runs down the middle?
  7. do yo uknow how much the fitting are worth / where you get them? PM me
  8. Danny How much for just the plug cover?
  9. Mine is heavier than the stock GTR clutch and is rated to handle over 300rwkw. I'll check tonight to see what model and rating
  10. Hey mate I hae got soem pics ( I think!) but I only have them on e-mail. I can send them if you have an email addy DANOOH Any chance of some photos of the hard piping kit in your installation, my fear at the moment with the HKS pipes is that I won't be able to easily fit my Z32 AFM's to them (which I know I can with the GReddy setup) and that my filters won't fit.. Some pics of different installations helps me to visualise better.. Cheers if you could. Also what AFM's are you running??
  11. I just installed an Exceedy full face - will find out what model and let you know if interested. It is rated the heighest for the exceedy full face, sprung hub. (it feels very nice - not hard to drive!). cost for me was $550 (for a full clutch kit)
  12. just installed a nice exceedy clutch kit into my GTR - single plate, has 5 springs in the hub (as opposed to the stock 4) and drives very nice strong, but not on/off! cost me $550 for the full kit and new bearings / seals
  13. can get them for about $750. PM if interested.
  14. Hi Peter Where did you get it from? sounds good thanks for the feedback!
  15. we have certain black spots around some of the Govt buildings here in canberra that kill sat nav and mobile reception.
  16. Ant - nice work mate, great that the stock AFM's and pump managed that much! that is the way a graph should look
  17. one good thing rearly mentioned is a main power key. it goes inline to your starter from your battery (it is the same big red plastic key that you see on the race cars). you can fit this underbonnet and take it with you. Another thing I haven't seen in years is an actual fuel line lock - same idea as the red power key, but goes into the fuel line. basically use as meany methods as you can
  18. sounds like you will have a VERY nice set up keep us posted on the results! I looked at the piping kits as well, but i don't need the full kit, as i have M's pods and Greddy hard piping kit. I might look at getting some piping made up here to replace the stock outlet pipes I'll let you know how I go.
  19. not from my research....
  20. I've got similar to you and will be looking for about the same power I've got 2530's Sard 700cc injectors HKS intank pump HKS cam gears PFC + HC Looking to get a set of RB20/25 AFM's and HKS style split dumps then I can start to assemble it all
  21. great stuff that you have some tasty HKS manifolds and split dumps saves a few $$$! I agree that the 2530's should be coming in a LOT sooner... I researched the 2530's quite a bit before I bought mine, as I wanted something with good response and discovered that the 2530's were very good. I'd say it is a tuning issue - it really depens how things are tuned as to how it will respond. SK is very good on this topic. When I was speaking to SK re the 2530's he was able to get his to 1bar ~ 3700 - 4000rpm.... good luck with it mate. (oh, I'd be in for a set of the compressor outlet pipes as well!)
  22. Yeah - bet you are happy I pointed you in their direction! hope this clarifies it to all those who said 'no way'.....
  23. if dirt cheap, they are an uupgrade, but I can't say by how much.... I'm looking for HKS spilt units
  24. because people with the stock engine are saying they are too laggy for street work!
