  1. nice car if I only had the cash!
  2. yes, better to upgrade - what other bits are you using to get that 300 - 350rwkw?!?!?
  3. it's just excessive clearance (lash) in the diff. nothing to be too concerned about.
  4. I got mine for $320 per corner in Canberra.
  5. Mick that cage is the hoop section behind the seats, the two sections that run down the 'A' pillars and the bars that link these sections along the top and bottom of the doors - yes? that means it has four body mounting points. Mine had sections that extended into the rear of the car (no rear seat) and mounted at another two points. it seems in the pic that you don't have enough sections of bar to make up a full cage...
  6. ah - so yo uare referring to the one available on prestige??? badging! I don't know of any differences
  7. mate - I sold a FULL cage from my GTR for $800 (immaculate - no scratches), seeing as yours is only a half cage I don't know if you will get that for it...
  8. I've done just over 3000km on a full set of mine and they still look brand new!
  9. Hey Peta, If I wasn't married and on the other side of Aust. you would be my kind of woman My wife knows a lot about my car, and I would go as far to say that she knows more than some of my mates! she is great
  10. oh well - at least in it's current state you can claim you've been into some tough drift competions and that is the result! bit of elbow grease and a good polish and you might hav eit solved! :headspin:
  11. Hi Mate I've been running the Toyo T1-S on my car for over a year now and I can say they are even better in the wet than the dry (although I have played with my suspension). I use the same size as you on my GTR.
  12. Stace - looks good I think the front ride height needs to come down a bit though (or mayby mine is just too low! ) I'm not sold on the clear indicators... That is some pretty impressive power you are producing!
  13. yeah - that thing looks great! those rims are very nice I really like that colour combination.
  14. check your state requirements (contact your local RTA) they should be able to answer or point you to the legislation....
  15. Oooohhh! you work in woden right? I got some parts of you a while ago
  16. spotted geordie in Qbn on the monday parked in the main street. it looks a bit sad ATM Spotted this morning Silver R33 GTR with the gold mesh rims travelling across commonweath ave bridge towards parliment house while I walked into work very nice (still not sure who owns this one!)
  17. I think it looks pretty good! he has obviously put a lot of work into it
  18. Hi Nik Spoke ot Ed and he said the clutch might end up too thin after machining it. He said he will ask Nathan if his is available. If anyone has one, I will have mine out this weekend, so can have a flywheel back asap. Cheers Dan
  19. Has anyone have or know of anyone that has a spare an GTR flywheel? Mine is still in the car and I've got a new clutch going in this weekend. If you have one, I can exchange mine once it is out (I'll even get it machined for you!). I would just get mine done, but I don't have the time to get it out and done mid week. Cheers Dan
  20. I agree with all the above, but would ad that I've heard of a TA22 runnign 4.0 toyota V8 and turbos agree about the 1/4 v's circuit work / club racing
  21. I must back up godzla32 and say that blowing truckloads of cash on doing up cars is silly - you dont ever get the money back.... invest and make your money work FOR you
  22. slaker, if you are looking to put out that sort of power at the engine, then it is a snap! taking 500hp and converting it to KW makes it 372 kw that your friend with the TA will be making. it is pretty widely known that a GTR can safely run 350rwkw (or around 430 engine kw) if it is in good mechanical condition and fitted with a pair of good low-mounts. See PM.
  23. Incorrect - the cam belt cover is infact alloy - I polished mine and it is fine
  24. I'd say keep the pods. you just need some good sheilding from the heat of the engine bay.
