only a small percentage of cars on the roads are NOT imported - do they intend to check every BMW, Toyota, Hyundai??? or, are they are only interested in grey imports... where is the policy statement about that? talk about harassment, I'd be contacting the media and putting it around on the forums if that's the case. I have mine inspected yearly and fail to see how it can't be roadworthy given I do less than 100km a year.

when I took mine in, I had a replacment sticker made up re the wheel info (drivers 'B' pillar). Nissan should be able to provide you with any generic under bonnet stickers. you should still be able to get the PDF of the owners manual somewhere. I've only got a printed workshop manual at home. honestly I fail to see how an owners manual is required - most second hand cars don't have them...

Saturday about midday - white R33 (GTS-T?) coming out from under the riverside carpark in QBN. had the most unlikely RB sounding exhaust note?!?

this morning about 9am, dark grey or black 4 door R33. was on pialligo ave coming from the airport and heading towards the city. I was about 8 cars back so couldn't get a better look

I was at mingle when I saw it at the lights. can confirm it had GTR wing and wheels couldn't see the entire car, but I agree, it looked to be a GTR

8:30 am this morning white R33 GTR stopped at the lights at on london circuit near the waldorf/ leglislative assembly.

yeah, my wife went through the same thing - we ended up going to Goulburn for the operation as it was done about 3 week after getting on the list (win for Goulburn ) see if you can get in elsewhere...

spotted (when I heard it drop back a gear) a silver/ grey skyline on the captians flat road on the weekend (think it was Sunday). looked like he was about to overtake, but had second thoughts - sounded nice.

seems like a lot, as kat mentioned, get it looked at elsewhere.

get a low weight mineral oil and a filter I like to use Valvoline Engine armour, only need to run it for about 5 minutes, ONCE YOU HAVE PRIMED THE TURBOS - don't start the car without doing this (as described, remove the coilpack harness) and crank for about 20 seconds let the starter cool for 15 - 20 seconds then crank for 20 seconds again (I cycled like this for about 3 minutes to ensure the turbos HAD oil) then drain and replace with synthetic . don't forget to bleed your cooling system once running, otherwise you will get issues with overheating due to air pockets. I just run copper plugs in mine and they are fine. if you are really an@l, or the oil is really bad after the 1st drain do the mineral flush twice.

plugs are very easy to fracture if you don't have the socket exactly straight (if the rotational force is transmitted directionally across the ceramic section). a friend of mine once filled his gemini with oil to the top of the rocker cover! his father was not impressed...

they did sell them, that is why I'd call to see what they have - might have something... otherwise try chris at inline.

did you give them a call and explain what you were looking for?

assuming you are talking about one of the bushes in the G4 coilover (must be noisy as hell!), you should be able to get what you need from a retailer (just jap) as they can be fully rebuilt.

do you know the brand of coilover? find out exactly what bush was missing, inline may be able to help you out if you can't source one from a local parts store. - repco can sometimes be handy for things like that.

put a new car cover on mine - I must get my carcoon back for it...

white R34 GT-T yesterday arvo in qbn. followed me over the bridge into the main and it drove up Lowe street (I was doign the school pick-up) it was a nice clean looking car
