Very helpfull. There should be more of it. I dont mind banter replies its good fun but youd think people would be more imaginative!! :shake:

Great concept. Choose your own beginning.

Just equated to 14.8l per 100km. So about 330km per 50l. However thats all boost driving.

Keep the replies coming. For my application due to work I have to leave the car for extended periods of time. Although it is under a carport it usually is still filthy when I return. It is good to know that a permiable(?) cover is no good. Its just the quality cover I need to decide on now.

What are peoples thoughts on these. I am considering getting one for use on my car for when leaving it for a month at a time. Still under cover (minimul wind). Reason generally after a month it will have a ton of dust on it with probably cat prints through it. Im not sure what is best this or a cover which may rub the paint. Any recommendations for covers. Doesnt need to be waterproof. Thanks.

I know its not a Skyline or my car. However has anyone have or know of where to get cheap secondhand or copy spoilers for these cars. Or a general spoiler aftermarket place. In Adel or anywhere.

Would love to get my hands on a 2835 T3 version internal wastegate. Have you got a good source? Or is it a secret. Probably would be $5000 over the counter.

Im getting some 265/35 18's fitted to the rears tomorrow. Cant wait just in time for the wet weather.

I have done the change. Just flushed everything with hose pressure used a bung adapter to maintain presure. Got a lot of dirty sludge out. Probably could have removed the thermostat to enable an uninterupted flush but thought I could have bought troubles. No air bubbles never got hot and still doesn't. Ran it to operating temp then let it cool while it sucked up the overflow fluid. Topped up and now sweet.

265/35 ZR18 PROXES T1S $500 neg

Still for sale. -
You may be able to utilize this device. Still flatshift but actually cuts the revs during gear changes. When you get one let me know how it goes.

Currently on ebay there are some for sale. With write up and who makes them.

Has anyone seen one of these in action. I would love to try one however at $300 would hate to find it a dud. You can adjust the rev limit for launch. Just hold the throttle flat and it reglates the revs. Also when changing gears you can keep the throttle flat. It senses the clutch engagement and retards ignition and fuel. A big claim for a cheap electronic device.

Personally I cant help you I havent had the PFC in long enough. I still couldn't help as I have never really checked economy. I dont really care how much it uses as long as it makes power. I have another car to drive. I want it to use more fuel if it equates to better performance all things sensible.

Remember many months ago when I was going to go for a ride in your car. I am still keen as a turbo is the next step. It would be good to see what 250rwkw feels like so I know what to aim for. If we do something again I will drop you a line.

I had my tune done at Tilbrooks. You may have read about a Drag car belonging to John Munnro featured in HPI/ZOOM who has had most of his work done there. 08 8261 8367 Mark Tilbrook runs the place. 12 Elm Street Hampstead Gardens Tell him Greg Pinder sent you. Not that I get on the cruises much due work, however when I get off my ass I may see you there. Good Luck.

yes I did a search of previous threads. What coolant are people using /recommend. Are you using a flush additive first. General feel is to use hose pressure only and not a compressor as I have done with previous cars (adapter to hose). What are peoples thoughts? Hope not to be covering old ground.

From the front: FMIC plumbed back to origonal fittings. POD Filter with cold air plumbing. Greddy Profec A only in for one week. Previously a bleed valve which worked OK. Before Boost controller and PFC I was getting mid 190rwkw with fuelcut defender. A good device for in between getting a ECU upgrade. Can be tempremental however. Three inch exhaust from turbo back race cat (you know what I mean). OS-Giken twin plate. Z32 AFM R32 Gtr seats Front bumper cut and plastic welded providing opening to the Intercooler. Myself and Freebaggin had some third gear drags (basically same Mods but Microtech). Not a real decisive result pretty even. It was hard to time the launches at the same time. He appears to be changing up to fourth later maybe giving him a bit more speed in the top end. Possible due to taller gearing maybe or the fact his rev cut is higher. Hopefully when the weather is cooler we can work that out. For me biggest improvements are 1st and 2nd improvements felt straight away. Third and 4th is smoother however I wouldnt say much more power. Once again 30+ deg 10 pm is probably not the best temp for this crazyness. However I didnt see the check eng light come on once (detonation) so the tuning is nice and conservative. And Freebaggin had the water temp/intake temp indications as I dont have a HC yet (wanted 415-X001). Anyway thats a bit more than I expected to say. Hope you find it interesting.

Well I picked a perfect day for Dyno tuning with newly installed PFC. Resulted in 206rwkw 40deg and a different feeling vehicle.

It is a Kenwood head unit so I will see if they have the same device. The MD is MP3 compatable as well as Atrac, WMA and WAV natrually. As well as up to long Play 4. Records from any media including fibre optic for true digital as well as USB. So as you understand it is not going. If anything goes the headunit could except the fact I wouldnt have radio. The MD alternates between two cars, pushbike and air travel at work and the gym on rare occasions.

I only just got back from my first run after fitting the profec A. Like yourself I cant get it to go to P1 mode on its own. It goes straight to normal operation. However i did the alternate mode as per info from Greddy site. After power is on hold down power button for 5sec and you get P1 do what you have to and push button twice for P2. After only a quick tune the boost seems a little unstable. In lower gears at 1bar it reaches 10psi (4psi short) and reaches the required 14psi in 3rd and 4th. I have two questions for you. 1 - Did you leave the back nipple with no hose to atmosphere? 2 - What pwr supply did you use? I connected to accessories which is anoying as the solenoid operates when accessories are on. I need a ignition supply. I thought of the pwr window supply. Also how did you earth it? To chasy, batt, or a nearby earth to something else. Let me know how stable you get your boost any any tricks you discover. I am off for a good drive tomorrow. I will see how I go. Hope this helps!! Greg.

After any sujestions for connecting a Mini Disc player into my sound system. I have a normal CD Head unit connected to two amps one running splits the other a sub. Both outputs from the existing head unit run the amps. I would like a system within the cabin where I could switch between both the MD and CD player. Thanks for any help. I havent approached a car audio place yet.
