im very suprised with people comments about cracking and peeling vinyl or bubbled.... has this happened to there car personally... have they seen it on anyone elses car... i have seen a rushed.. i mean very rushed job bubble... never seen it crack though.... a business that vinyls cars would be quickly out of business if there product was to crack and peel.... i think the term a "good job" isnt what id would descibe good vinyl... more of a Proper Job..... if done correctly they can last for quite some time.... the only thing that usually fades..... may be the paint.. leaving a darker spot on cars where the vinyl was after removal.... if on there for some conciderable time that is.

i could do it my self no worries if i had a decent jack that would fit under the car. we got rid of everything when we made the move over here... even my massive tool set. as for people not lending there hoist.. that was expected.. i was just curious to see if anyone has thought of opening there doors to people on the weekends as im sure im not the only person. cheers though

ouch. yeah i wouldnt be driving it at all... buy an old $100 bomb to get around in... and save up for a strip down (or do it yourself) and check for damage... good luck

are you really sure you want a skyline as your first car.. insurance can be a killer and they are quite a powerful car..... not giving a lecture its just maturity is essential... dont get me wrong you can still have shit loads fo fun in them but just do it smartly.... like grabbing the handbreak at the top of 4th instead of second. lol .....

i love it when people call the case a hard drive.. this split cable is good for presentation purposes but not for desk work.

you can get vinyl prett good on the cars... on my old car some of it was the smaller the rice on the bonnet and just used the tiniest ammount of clean nail pollish. couldnt even see the joins... and came off very easy

havent got a trolly jack, drive way or anywhere to do it really. and just moved to this so pit or hoist will come in handy. clus i can have a good look at the bushes as thers a bit of a clunk coming out of the car. just moved to melbourne area from SA and dont have money to pay for someone else to do it when ive always done work on my car my self. chris r31 PM Sent
