    Drifting`

You are really misinformed and have made a huge generalisation. I hardly ever see many silvias drifting on the street. Most of them are well behaved and drive properly. On the other hand, every time I see a R32 or R33 they drive like total tools at double the speed limit and try showing off. Every time no doubts about it. In traffic where theres danger to others.

Actually going the smallest width and profile tyres is incredibly dangerous for a learning or experienced drifters. Every Day, yes day, we see guys crash due to running skinny tyres on stock rims. You need grip to drift and small tyres dont provide that. Lots of you bag out NS.com for no reason. You guys like race days and DECAS and they love drifting. Funny most of the guys that do bag out NS have never been on the track. They think just because they did a DECA that they are track veterans because they are affiliated with SAU. When many NS members have attended both Calder and Winton and many skidpan days.
  3. Not all the same but Auto RB25?

    Drifting`

There are practise days like the one on Wednesday this week that will be at Calder. They have a section. Its a bit hard to learn there because there is limited time and space. You will find that most People who do so Have learnt on the street, which is very unsafe and not worth it. Think about drifting before you get into it, do you want to do it full on, or you just want to give it a shot. If you just wanna give it a shot I reccomend its not worth it. An incorrectly setup car can make it very hard and very very dangerous to drift, drifting is an expensive sport and it certainly makes it hard on the track if you dont have a well setup car. Lots of people can claim to drift, but going sideways is not the same as properly drifting like high speed entrys, clipping points, weight transfer etc. If your passionate about it go for it!!! Ill be there at Calder this Wednesday and Winton next month.
  5. Looks good. I couldnt make it I was up in Shepparton at the Springnats had an insane weekend with my mates was with the GK tech team for the Drift demonstrations up there!
  6. see you at the show and shine Dezz
  7. What are you on about mate? What history? Pfft. Do you even drive your car or do you just like drive it to autosalon and show and shines only?
  8. Exactly as Brad said, I have forgotten about it I just wanted to let you guys know in future to be a little more careful on the roads especially the types we were driving in. I am a good person and I can and have got along with many people on this site for over 4 years.
  9. Im sure your senior managers would love to hear what you were doing in the company cars. Funny, its good having connections in european dealerships. Great having a family member running a company like Wurth Jealousy is a killer mate. Great to know where you live Maciek. By the way you couldnt drive a cef if your life depended on it, thats why it sits out the front all banged up. Have you ever BEEEN on the track at winton or calder? Also with the car - Perfect tyres, Airbox, intercooler and legal catback!! Sure as not RWC ey!
  10. Hey Khoa I tried calling you yesterday to come up!! Giv us a call after work!
  11. Hhahaha Dezz you really know what I do for a living do ya! We will see! Also kicking. If your not gonna be annoyed when someone is on your cars ass at over 100 kmh and then almost clips you overtaking around a blind bend and continuing at break neck speed down the wrong side of the road, well you must be something else. Alredy run it up and seen that they are two BMW company cars good thing I have connections with management at the dealership. Also Paul, I suggest you get your story right before jumping on your high horse about how people "never learn" and what and how are cruises are like - I dont interfere in your buisness so id appreciate it if you didnt interfere in mine.
  12. I dunno what hypo MCCR shit your talkin about but the runs we have up there are fairly small and everyone enjoys themselves!!
  13. We are going out for a Hills cruise tonite. No stupidty will be tolerated just a good drive. Bring Adequate fuel and a good attitude. Weather is forecasted as fine. PM ME OR ALEXCIM for details.

  17. Man I was in your situation 2 years ago. I used lived in Perth and I had a R32 with a RB25DET that was extensively modded (to say the least). Brought it here to Melbourne when I moved. After 2 weeks Got dicked with every fine under the sun, no engineering, turbo, management you name it I got reamed. EPA but no defect. Ended up sending the car back to my parents in Perth and I sold it there. If you have WA plates it will only give you more attention. They cant defect you, but they can EPA you. Its really up to you what you wanna do. You should be pretty safe.
  18. If you want a Ride in the Cefiro - 4 door drift limo - your welcome. Will look the part soon with respray and its new wheels!! I have done a Formal run before in my JZX100 Chaser and both students and teachers were awestruck when it rocked up. Pic of it with old wheels and paint. ceffy
  19. In 1998 a Shootout done by CAR magazine in the UK between a 33 GTR, NSX and 911 Carerra tested the R33 Skyline GTR at 273 km/h. Thats stock.
  20. GUYS I STILL CANT TAKE IT OFF! I have never come across such a stubborn thing!
  21. Hey guys Please help, yes ive read every page that has somthing to do with 02 sensors on this site. This is my situation On my Cefiro, i pulled off the dump heat shield and left it off. This caused the WIRE AND PLUG for the 02 sensor to be melted to pieces. The whole loom was roasted as well, leaving only about 10 cm of loom near the chassis. I have ordered a new 02 sensor alredy picking it up this afternoon and ive got a 3 pin connector as well. Now my problem is. What sort of wire can I use to extend the 3 wire loom, what is the sort of Heat proof coating I put over it and also lastly HOW THE HELL CAN I REMOVE THE 02 SENSOR? I can get a Open ended 22 over it, I can get plenty of leverage, AND ive even Soaked it in Rost Off (angriest version of WD40/Penetrene) and used all my strength but the thing wont budge. Am I just weak or is there another way - I cant get hold of a 02 socket (Repco/autobarn/supercheap) dont have one - so any other suggestions? Hope you guys can help Regards Kim
  22. Khoa I had a Bell 900i when I lived in Perth. Radar detectors are legal over there and are great to have. Most places in WA stock them and you can buy them legally as well. Over the years ive seen a few of em work and the old stuff is shit and gave a lot of false readings. Id say anything new these days would work perfectly. They cost anywhere from 700 to 1000 dollars. Ohh and Laser - yes radar detectors have ALWAYS picked up laser so I dont know what ur on about.
  23. This is a Quality blow off valve guys, brand new in the box.
  24. Hey guys I bought a brand new Turbosmart Vee Port II Blow off valve for the Cefiro, not realising it didnt have a stock one to start with. These blow off valves have a unique Whipcrack and still have a nice flutter at low RPM. They are very very expensive blow off valves due to the quality and design, and you will find not many people have them. If you want a unique noise, go for one of these valves as they r the best. $220 These things retail at $300 Shipping is free. Regards Kim
