We sell these kits all over the world and never have had problems with it, ive never had a customer complain - we wudnt sell something if it wasnt good for the thing its intended to do - we have a reputation to uphold.

Thats what I thought man - 120 sounds about right for mine - The guy who does this probably uses some of the products I sell so maybe I can get it done for that. your forgetting that the FD is like nearly 13 years old and the Evo is much much newer. Do the Rx7s have all the current technology? Or are they just like the 92 model with different aero/light/interior packages? As far as I can see, the looks are is only real winner here. As for power, Im sure a Evo would walk on it off the line, on the run and in top end. I cant stress this more, but you have to go for a hard drive in a Evo to experience why people rant on about them so much. Serious Club racers and people with money in Aus who are car enthusiasts that drive porsches and ferraris, they dont have RX7s - they drive Evos. I dont think Lindsay Fox has a Rx7 in his collection, but I sure know he has Evos.

Funny thing is, I actually have seen a nice Yellow R33 being stripped down at a panel shop in Lalor yet this forum guy wont give me any info - just PMs me a Mobile fone number - thats useless. Unless I get some details on what it looks like, wheter it was a seires 1/2 and WHEN it was stolen or whatever how the hell do I know. My customers are Panel shops in Coburg/Thomastown/lalor/Preston/Resevoir - those area that stolen cars end up in so If you want help, just tell give me some details. Regards Kim

R31Nismoid. Yes the VLs dont need it so its legal, but this is SAU so for the budding SAU enthusiast that wants it on his skyline, it is illegal. Excellent point made about the autos, It does seem actually that most of them that have the big flutter are automatic anyway so I suppose it shouldnt affect there straight line performance. Good on them.Hate to be going up some twistys though up a hill when you have to be on/off the throttle. :burnout:

I work for a Company called Wurth (those in the panel/mechanical trade know us) and we sell a Plastic Repair kit that is bloody AWESOME for fixing up front bars/fairings. OK. Every VL where I live does it. Its easy. Find ur Blow off valve, modded or stock. Pull out the vaccum line hooked to the BOV and put a screw in it to block it off- it must be sealed completetly or there is a vaccum leak. That or run NO blow off valve at all. Then. Make sure you have a Aftermarket cooler. Then listen to the masssive CHO CHOC CHOC CHO VL style flutter. Its just common in VLs cos there too poor to fit a BOV/too dumb to put one in. Its also known as DOSE! Its a favourite with the Chapel Street VL crew round here, u hear them flog it and let go. I must say thought it sounds pretty cool, but a. its illegal b. it attracts unwanted attention c. It scares old people/kids/animals d. It makes the compressor blades slow down, so not a performance mod e. the guys that have it act like heros, but there just displaying there ignorance. My suggestion is, run a aftermarket BOV with a harder tension, you will get a nice crisp flutter at low revs and clean pstchhhhhh at higher. I personally used a turbosmart V Port II on my old skyline and it had a great, non annoying noise.

Personally Id have to say the Lancer Evolution. I love Rx7s. They are the most beautiful. Ive seen many around the area I live, its not as rare as A genuine Evolution. After being in Many Evos, Id have to say, off the line and on the twisty bits - YOU CANT GO PAST THE EVO. Try take a corner sharply at 120 km/h in a RX7 and see what happens. At the rotary shops that I go to see, You see s6s coming in that are misssing, not driving right and people complaining about problems. In this case, If you have the Money, buy the Rx7. I DEFINETLY would if money wasnt a issue. If I wanted a perfectly reliable, well built, rare, acclaimed by every motoring journal/journalist, and such a strong competition heritage with a lot of R&D put into their street cars, I would buy the Lancer Evolution. Its simply one of the most recognised and respected Japanese supercars.

Nissan are like this. A Collegue of mine has a 2003 Pathfinder. It has a noisy diff and doesnt lock all the time and the car has an issue when he goes 4WD in it, the fuel tank pressurises and it leaks. after going back and forth to nissan, new fuel pumps, new tanks they cant solve the problem and they now are NOT gonna do anything, they just keep handballing the situation. The diff. They initially were gonna fix it, but he put a small Lift kit and better shocks because he goes 4WDing. The diff doesnt lock in some situations which leaves him stuck sometimes and its noisy. They told him, you put a Suspension kit in it so that voids the diff warrenty. WTF? Well, for all those lookin to buy one, you know!!

Yeah i know there isnt a drama, its just got 197 rwkw which is nothing out of the water. It does have a Full replacement japanese computer, thats what sets it apart from just the other RB25s with same mods and something like a SAFC. I know it probably wont get 220 rwkw, but we were just talking about gapping the plugs,advancing timing, running some octane boost and running it breifly at 15 psi and possibly achieve 215 + rwkw.
