Get a life ok, I dont give a **** if my car makes 2 kw or 300 kw on shootout mode or God mode, and why question what my mates car makes when a. you have seen or been in it and b. you dont know what else the car has on it. Its not a stock engine with a big turbo slapped on you know. If you guys are so fussed about it, why still talk about it then, I would disregard any bullshit I was told and not bring it up if It was not possible. You guys seem to keep bringing it up, maybe because he doesnt talk, just gets the figures.

Didnt look at intake temp, he said it was running excellent and hes a fairly capable and trusted tuner. He didnt do shootout because he told me you want to find out "real road power", i was trying to convince him to spray some cool water on the cooler to try crack 200 rwkw but he said "that doesnt happen on the street." Lol running stock injectors? U must be refering to my freinds car, Magic1 on these forums. Ill tell u wat, I dunno what it was running, but with it making over 600 rwhp (over 450 rwkw), it is the quickest and most mean sounding R33 skyline Ive ever been in. The external gate combined with that angry "worked engine" whine coming out of the exhaust - any 33 GTST owners dream.

Hey guys Got the beast dynoed today, lovely smooth curve and the guy freaked out at how perfect the A/F ratio was!!! Got 196.4 rwkw on 12 psi at Minutoli Service Centers Dyno dynamics dyno. (MSC performance, Resevoir). At 13 is was Detonating so we backed off. Didnt have much time tonite, but we will regap the Plugs and advance the timing a little and she should comfortablly pull around 215 rwkw on about 1 bar. I was very happy with the result, with minimal mods, its a very good start point.

Is there much parking there? Contemplating bringing the line down there or the Camry.

Damn, I cant beleive how much of Crap is being spun on this thread. The RB25 conversion into a R32 is one of the most worthwile conversions going. I swear if one of you jumped into one, you wud shit ur pants and want to do the conversion. My old cars low end and midrange was so much stronger than my R33 due to its lighter weight and different chassis behavior. The only downfall to this conversion that I see is like any conversion, If the cops pick it out, ur ****ed. I was at protek in Preston yesterday and there was a nice burgandy 32, RB25DET, microtech etc 250 kw at the rears - it got a EPA PROHIBITED VEHICLE sticker on it. The poor guys gotta get it passed over pits and engineered now. So think about that - And as far as im concerned - stick to ur RB20s, wudnt want the exclusivity to become common! I was happy in the fact my car was the only one of two RB25 converted R32 Skylines in Perth.

People who have done the conversion understand what a huge step up a RB25 is from a RB20DET. I rmember going in MODDED RB20s and I cud make a cup of tea before it hit power, and then when it did it wud uselessly wheel spin. That was just shit. I liked a smooth linear power hit right from down low, this is where the RB25 delievered, true maybe 200 kw - but thats more torque than the little 2 liter makes! and In the lighter 32, off the line and on the run, it was hard to beat. My car didnt have any annoying suction noise either, used to cruise around quite comfortable, more fuel effieciently too. You can put a big turbo on anything and be fast - hell put something like a GT30R and watch a stock internal RB25 happily pull 300 rwkw more comfortably than a RB20 wud, plus with that sized turbo on a 20, i could not only have a cup of tea, but a piece of cake too, before it came on boost and when it did, it wud wheelspin and be useless. In my opinion, I wud never regret doing this conversion - In fact, I hope to again in the future do this and build a more powerful street car. I enjoyed it so much, I cant stress how good it felt, If it werent for the cruel police here, Id still have my old beast! heres a Pic before I sold it, very sad day for me

After having a RB25DET in a R32, I cudnt be more pleased .People didnt believe it was a standard turbo and I have scared many a passenger, the jesus bar on the passenger seat didnt exist so people used to grab for the A pillar, bit annoying The RB25 was, 1000 times smoother, 1000 times more torquier low down, cud pull outta a corner at ease in 3rd at 30 km/h and had such a strong low end to mid range, it was frightening. I enjoyed being able to torch the rears in 3rd gear on demand - mind you on a stock turbo. The thing felt like a animal due to the light weight of the 32, itd just kick you back and shut you up. I regret selling it so much , but its alrite, I Will do another one again some time down the track!!! For now its Series II whale powwaaa!!!

Was driving on Lygon tonight and there was a Champange/brownish coloured R31 4 door with Chromies that got T boned by a Rav 4. Was a sad sight, the R31 had the round tailights and the Jap style SKYLINE sticker on the back, wondering if its a forum user. It makes you feel sick when you see accidents like this. Regards Kim

Used to Live in outback WA at the time, we were actually taught at school to drive when we went out to stations.We were also rebuilding our own cars for Manual arts at the time. Also used to go out on tracks 4WDing. Thats not on the public roads and its not illegal as far as I know. Fun when I say is cruising around enjoying myself with my freinds and not looking behind my back for the next cop thats gonna defect, fine and hassle me. I find it ridiculous how you can sit there and try and pull apart what I have said and try to find faults in it. Use your time more constructively.

Ive been trying to dig up some stuff on my skyline and have come up with a little. The car was built in dec 96 and Sold in 1997. Its from ***uoka Prefecture in Japan - dunno where it is. The floormats say NISSAN PRICE ***UOKA city, and I did a little search on the net and found the dealership. We had the ECU out the other day and it was badged with KAPPATSU tuning shop. I just found their webpage and translated it and there a tuning shop in ***uoka! So the car was modded over there as well! just some interesting stuff - does anyone know where about ***uoka is? regards Kim

missrb25det I dont want to offend you either but I do have a point.I know you are a sensible driver and all, but for the majority of others this is not the case when you buy a high performance car. Theres no need to get angry, True 4 years is **** all, but being constantly living eating breathing and going in high powered cars for the past four years,learning to drive 4WD since I was 14, doing a bit of driving on stations in old bombs and learning how a car controls does mean something, and Its made me have a mature and logical viewpoint about this issue. I dont care WHAT any P plater thinks of me or what I should be doing, Ive stated a fair opinion and its some food for thought for the young people that are looking at getting a high powered import. I got a powerful car at 19 AGAIN because I had my license for a few years and In Perth it wasnt Illegal to drive one and theres less traffic there and its a bit more safer. Missrb25det! Ive had license for 4 years. Just cos I moved states and still am on my Ps doesnt mean much. The fact of the matter is I waited until I was 19 to get my first high powered Import. Thats almost 3 years, Not 3 days. So there you go.

All I can say is I tried and that sorta attitude wont get you far. Skill? have you been in a performance car when its rolled? Have you slammed into a pole at over 100 kmh in the wet? Have you slid into a curb and bent axles and broken wheels? Have you run head on into a tree? Have you experienced what causes that? I have been in Vehicles at the time these things have happend (i wasnt the driver) and I can tell you thats what happens when an inexperienced driver thinks they know it all. After experiencing all this, after doing proper track days and after doing all the crazy stuff that you can possibly be done in cars - it still doesnt mean shit. Different cars, different road condition, different situation and all a high powered car does is make this worse!
