Even if you swear your going to be the most sensible driver out there, you havent driven on the street by urself before and you wont be.

I totaly think its irresponsible of Parents to allow a L plater and the young driver to drive a high powered car. Im not jealous, hell, Ive owned over 8 cars including over 4 high performance turbo vehicles, but I look back to when I first got my license and my first turbo car which was a starion turbo, and I look back and think how scary and how fast that car was. The fact is, when you get ur license and ur driving a high powered vehicle, ur gonna do some stupid shit, probably hurt yourself or someones loved one. Ive been driving for 4 years and Ive owned a string of 12 second cars yet I still think ive got a lot more to learn. You guys can say what you want that you will be safe etc, but the bottom line is, you wont. I dont think I wudve kept myself from injury if I owned a high performance vehicle when I just got my license, you have no feeling for the road or how the car could react, even after me going to so many driving courses in WA, competing in Autokhanas and climbs, I have a lot to learn. My suggestion is to you guys, sell your cars, buy a cheaper, less powerful car and learn how to drive properly before stepping up to a more powerful car - Maybe Im getting old, but I never understood why some parents didnt let there kids drive turbocharged cars when they got there licenses - i thought they were idiots and I used to tell them, who cares you can still hurt urself in a excell - but after a few years of driving I realised what they meant. High performance cars are deadly weapons.

The person who copped it was me. I had a R32 with a RB25DET. The car was WA regoed and all, but they still recognised it and checked the engine block number and did me for no engineering. I wouldnt do it, you cant fool them. If ur prepared to fork out a couple of grand go ahead and get the thing engineered. They will still **** u over in some way though with conversions.

I said I wanted Melbourne buyers, Ive got about a billion NSW guys after it however its too hard to ship it because it COULD be damaged in transit so Im not taking a chance. I dont have a digicam, so I cant take pics! Its just the normal type of Nismo lip, it doesnt have the indents for the GTR but these are easily cut out when you get the lip sprayed and mounted on professionally, its a good replacement for GTRs even, ive seen most GTR ones warped and outta shape badly, this is a nice straight fiberglass one that will never warp or go outta shape!! People are killing for these and JMS dont have em anymore. $120, I will bring it to your DOOR in melbourne. NEEDS TO GO! Kind regards Kim.

Hey guys Im a bit low on the $$$ so Im selling my New slimline PS2 which I bought at Myers about a month or so ago It will come in the box with all the gear - its the special GT4 edition pack!! Good stuff Mark!!! I knew I had you converted - I miss my old RB25 powered R32 - it felt so good in a light R32!! I hope too many people dont do it, itll make it common - Back in Perth my car was the only 1 of 2 - RB25 powered 32s, and considering 32s were rare over there, it was even better. I only had to take someone once for a ride in that car to convince them, especially when they were hanging on for dear life when the car was wheelspinng 3rd sideways up the street Ahh the memories!

MMm Those guys on ACA were totaly disrespectful. Even if they are hassled by police, they shudnt treat them the same way because If they have done you wrong, they will suffer for it some way in the future. It put a terrible image on car enthusiasts and in Particular ethnic ones. Now sure the cops do wrong things, Hell - I got pulled over and ripped for having a legal car and a hoarde of other fines- I actually thanked the policeman as he left. Its terrible but what can you do? Some day that policeman will have his day. I can see how a ethnic person could be targeted though, which is very unfortunate because not all people are alike - I believe that If I have done something wrong, I deserve it, so the BEST I can do is to try to drive sensibly which I do, I wont say ive been perfect in the past, but I certainly do try.

12s! Congrats on running 12s - its a good feeling - my previous 2 cars did and it feels goodd! Im aiming to get my series II 33 running stock turbo into the 12s,its got an ARC front mount,jap Rom and a few other goodies, i rekon It can do it easy. Ive had quite a bit of practise at the strip. Ive seen guys with modded 33s ie. turbo etc that cant pull low 13s even!! You have to know how to launch the car and how to set it up for the race, ie. warming tyres, tyre pressure etc.

Well im looking for a fairly basic system Basics are a monitor, win XP and a Processor over 1.6 GHz - Im looking for a system just to use the net and for my media - i want a basic cos I will build it up - I just bought myself a 1997 R33 and I cant afford to buy a real good computer atm. Sorry I cant get any Pics of it as I dont have a digi cam on me and my Company laptop is so locked down, it wudnt let me put software on it to accept a digi cam even! Anyway looking at it in real life and seeing it go is 100 times better than a picture - however saying that - if i posted a pic up of it people would be falling over themselves trying to get the car - it attracts a crowd on the street when I take it out and when I take it to the track - the bogans with there Nitro powered Holden utes and Falcon utes are like - eyyy howwd ya get it to driftt like that, thats farrken sicck - when I see them pityfully trying to get there car sideways with there open diffs and poor response from the nitro engines.

Hey guys I am after a computer so I need to sell my beloved RC drift car - its decked out with all hop ups - its a Tamiya TT01 4WD - all adjustable suspension, NSX and S15 body - s15 is painted in tranclusent purple - full on drift special - 2 sets of wheels including white Nylon drift wheels and a set of hot Volk TE37s - has a 23 Turn TZ motor - specifically for high RPM drifting - a set of slicks and Yokomo Drift tyres.Futaba reciever and controller. Very very fast car, drifts hard and long. Has new Futaba electronic speed controller, full ball bearings, the front and rear diffs are locked with silicon -but its like rubber so it allows some slip so it acts like a proper LSD and doesnt understeer in the front. I was shocked and saddend to see this car. I was walking into one of my customers and seen this car in a Panel shop yard - I dont think ive ever seen such a badly written off car - the whole side of it was smashed in up to the drivers seat - even the dash cluster was compacted up - if there was a passenger in that car - there wudnt be just mutilated in that car. It was a sad sight to see. Just makes you wake up and think how fragile we are on the road - only takes one idiot to stuff up and thats the end of it all - drive safely on the roads - its not only dangerous driving that causes accidents - its people who dont concentrate.

Ive had one of these which I bought brand new last year- Unpainted, lightweight and looks gooooood! If you want your R32 to stand out from the sea of standard spoilers - these lips cant be beaten - they give the car a Phatter presence and that angry japanese streetcar look! I sold my 32 otherwise it was going on that. I bought for 150 - will sell for $120 - and I will personally drive and deliever it to anyone around melbourne!!!! Let me know Kim.

Hey guys, After about 5 months of researching and looking around, I finally got my car. Its just been complianced and is awaiting rego. Its a late 1996 R33 Series 2 Type M. White. Sideskirts and a geniune GTR wing. Mods JIC full adjustable Coilovers ARC front mount cooler. HKS 3.5 turboback.Stainless all the way. Garage ROM Garage Short Shift Apexi RSM Nismo 320K dash 18 inch Super Advan 3 spoke (dished) A few more I cant think of but the car looks real neat. I dont plan to drive it around a lot, just take it out to a few cruises and when I go for a country drive. I used to be really against getting a 33, but I got this one because the S2s arnt as common, they have a nice squarer look up front and I dont think the interior can be beaten on a series 2 - that was a major selling point! I heard about it on one of the Forums and came down for a look. Enjoyed the tyre frying - Roy did real good for his first time on track! Every time I go to Calder Park I get more and more annoyed with it - Its a really lousy track I rekon. Itd be good if they build a purpose built drift track somewhere because I rekon theres a Lot of People into It. I personally wouldnt take a car to calder, 3 corners, high prices, cement walls and generally low speed sliding. Im sorry but its a Joke. I wudnt wanna send my car into the wall and for just 3 corners! Not worth it. Ive been to a Few Drift comps over back home In WA and I can tell ya the track back there - collie - is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better and guys actually drift the whole circuit, which is free of cement walls, and nice sweeper corners and series of links.Smooth bitumen as well. High Speed entertaining drifting. Its not a wonder why the WA boys do so well in the Drift Nats. Sadly over there theres no organisations like Fullock or anyone having drift practice days etc. Over here there lucky to have the organisation, but not the track. So is there any Talk of a track coming up or maybe another more suitable venue? I havent been to Winton or Sandown, but are they any better?

In melbounre WRX cop cars have been around for over 5 years. About 4 years ago they were pretty common with most city police cruising around in them. Nowadays, its the outskirts of Melborune like up near the hills and stuff where a lot of guys go for cruises and stuff where they have WRX and Forrester turbo police cars, there nothing special, I seen many a undercover WRX here. Yes they had the HSVGTO cop car here too but thats not around any more. The police here have a Army of SS commodores and XR8 falcons. The undercover XR8s are spectacular, usually optioned up with the nicer rims and bigger brakes etc. Then you get the Highway Patrol cars which looks as if there something out of a computer game, with there custom paintjob and nice stickers, and they are MOSTLY XR8s. The cop who pulld me over in my skyline was a Undercover Traffic cop and he had a XR6 turbo. They need these cars here otherwise they wouldnt stand a chance in catching guys. Ive been to some cruises here and theres heaps of Bogans in a Falcons, VNs, and VL turbos who will run if the cops even RIGHT up there ass. I mean, over in WA wed be scared of them getting our plates - over here, they dont give a shit if the cops right on there tail. Guys with 10 second VL turbos and stuff (100s of them) pretty easily get away and its only the guys who chicken out and stop that get caught. The cops need the quicker cars to at LEAST catch a few.
