hahah I MISSS the cruising with you guys. I luckily slipped away from the police for 3 years in Mandurah. Black/dark cars are like Phantoms, they get less attention at night. If my skyline was like White like Ashs car, they wudve had a field day on me. Rule of thumb is to not speed/make noise on Pinjarra road. I know I did, but anyway, its not good. I miss those days of Random cruising, our impromptu Wet weather meets, Ahh good old "be there in 10 mins at Gull" meets. Bunky cruising, rallying. I need to move back to Perth BADDDD.

Hey guys I bought GT4 on Friday and was playing it quite a bit, I got all the Licences,halfway through Super licence, a lot of hard work and I had some crappy cars. I bought a Evo 7 after that and after many many many hours of racing I won good races and won a 320k Nismo Z concept. Now I had a good car and money and decided to play. I wanted the Blitz R34 D1 car but i just wanted to test it out so Like a Idiot I took the memory card out and it dindt work and when it prompted me to put it back it in I did. Game freezes up now when trying to access the card. I feel so bad. Would anyone be able to lend me there card so I can copy the Licenses/some $$$$ across because I dont think I could go thru the whole license/racing thing again. I actually felt sick when this happened cos Id spent so much time on this game, and I never/rarely play games. Im just North of the city in Brunswick - so If anyone around the area or even in the Northern suburbs can help me, please let me know Kind regards Kim

Hey guys I am selling my R/C drift car because I want to buy myself a New computer so the hobby has to go!! This car is only 3 weeks old and I have reciepts for OVER $800 dollars for it but Im willing to let it go at a non negotiable $450 dollars which is peanuts for this car, its almost not worth even selling it but I need the extra $$$. Heres everything, the car is completely set up for drift and puts on a spectacular show. Its a current model Tamiya TT01- I hand built it. It was the Raybrig NSX 2003 JGTC race car kit. Absolutely stunning detailed shell. I have two shells for it. The drift shell is a real head turner. Its a HPI S15 200sx with minimal authentic decals.(it even has a front mount) This is a Nismo Endorsed bodyshell and its painted in a Transclusent Violet/pink. I get gatherings of ppl crowd around me at tracks to have a look at it. The NSX is a geniune 2003 RAYBRIG japanese touring car body (JGTC) and is very wide. Its painted in a deep metalic blue and is an absolute stunning bodyshell. Its my good raceshell which i keep aside. The extras I put in. Tamiya Ballbearings. Futaba 230 Electronic speed controller with ABS and reverse. Futaba T2ER Reciever and Controller with 2 high torque Futaba servos. Tamiya Super Stock Tz 23 turn motor. This is a brilliant motor, much quicker than a stock 540, loads of torque yet is happy to sit up in the high RPM range. Tamiya 22 tooth pinion. Higher top speed. Tamiya Hard springs on rear (white) and medium hard on front (blue). HUGE improvement. Tamiya Upper arm Kit front and rear. To dial in that camber for the sick drift look. 2 sets of wheels. Grey Volk TE37s and a Pair of Hot White PROLINE nylon wheels - my drift wheels. Both front and rear differentials have been Locked with Silicone. It is removable but this helps a LOT with traction and control. 1 X 1900 mah Ansmann Batt pack.NI-CD 1 X 3000 mah Ansmann Batt pack.NI-MH 1 X Ansmann ACS 67P+ Microprocessor controlled Charger. Charges in about 1 hour. Microprocesser controlled so wont overcharge and damage the batteries. Can be plugged into wall or into cigar lighter in car for charging. Tyres. Tamiya Soft Slicks and a set of the latest Yokomo Radial Drift tyres (without the plastic ring crap). Ive got a heap of spares too - screws and bolts, a brand spanking new Tamiya 540 motor, Mechanical 3 way speed controller, Soft springs, and a few more bits and pieces. The chassis is in new condition. You wont get a better deal on a Setup like this for under $800 and Im letting it go at 450. Ive put a lot of time into this car and immensely enjoyed running it. It attracts crowds of ppl that go - how the **** do u get it sliding so easily. It suspension is setup for drift, however, whack the slicks on , change the camber settings and it is a really impressive track weapon, lots of the Nitro guys have actually commented to me about how well its setup. As a bonus If anyone wants it intersate I will post it free of charge!! This is ur chance to get into the latest hobby craze!! I will otherwise advertise it on Ebay or in the melb trading post and it will be snapped up easily for the price. To put into perspective - U cud buy a new Yokomo Kit for around $450 dollars plus which wud include a less detailed body, without the motor, paint, batteries, charger, reciever with controller or a electronic speed controller. Yeah steve I know the prices etc im just testing the water. The bug has bitten and ive realised I cant live without my Nissans - Im really keen on getting into a skyline, and now since ive been driving my camry for so long, i really miss and appreciate how lucky I was to own my old car or ANY type of skyline for that matter. I wish I could still have a car like my old one, unfortunately not cops are too hard on people, hence I want a nice standardish Stock car, and a 31 GTSx is the least common of them, i dont care if it runs 17s, id be just content with owning one.

I dont see why they are worth that much. They are a very 80s car, it has a really average red top motor, there slow, there interiors are very dated etc - i rekon im after a fair price.

I am Sri lankan as well and thankfully none of our remaining relatives over there were hurt. My mums cousin had a there house washed away and are living in temporary accomodation - My grandmother is going back there this month and she will be helping with the aid relief, we are sending clothes and other items and giving donations as well. I dunno if this is a good idea - but over here while I was in Perth we had a "tsunami cruise" where over 300 cars rocked up to and ppl gave donations for a map. It was a great success and they made around 3500 dollars - this was after only 4 days notice!!! I think a donation cruise would be a good idea, the police im sure wudnt mind ppl cruising for charity - but it wud be a great idea! let us know what u think Regards Kim

Look I know what you guys mean - some ppls cars stand out too much and they drive like idiots and get caught - fair enough. I had a black car, not too flash rims, not too low and everything permitted and I got pulled over doing a Legal U turn to pull into my street. Now my mate on here from melbounre with a GTR has been dicked by the police- as he was reversing, some old idiot who was speeding thru a carpark rear ended him. The cops came and blamed the WHOLE thing on him and even proceeded to give the car a thorough check to hand out a defect. CAN YOU BELEIVE THAT? All because he was Asian and was too nice to say to the cop "**** off your full of shit and you cant treat or talk to me like that". Im sick of Melbournes Nazi police.Corruption and special treatment is how they operate - soon youll be having to drive around with a wad of cash just to pay em to leave ya alone.

Well, the bad part is I lived in Vermont South and the cop Pettet pulled me over less than 100 m away from home. Knox is just next suburb. I mean come on - I used to go to knox (in my company car) and see idiots hooning around in hothatches, Commondores and Imports and none of there cars get done - sometimes I see the same cars over and over again. Does this guy only attack Skylines and Silvia/200sxs? All I can say is that you melbourne guys are missing out on enjoying driving your cars - as someone mentioned, you have to worry about going 3 kays over the limit. I notice that no one even cruises much there, and if it is, its small,and cops still somehow hang around.

guys, I am sickened by reading posts every day about someone being EPAd or dicked by the cops. How do you guys put up with it. I mean I came over from WA and I sold my car because I couldnt handle the hassle and the serious threatening I got from the police. How do you guys handle it. Im beginning to think that I will never be able to own a performance car in melbourne actually. Ive seen the way you guys drive and most of the time you guys are really sensible etc. If this sorta thing went on in Perth, people wouldnt beleive it. Is there ANYTHING you guys are gonna do to stop or protest it ? I know a lot of you and Myself even work hard and pay a lot of money to buy our cars, maintain them and we take pride in them, and ur getting harrassed like some sort of criminal. Lots of ppl interstate cant comprehend how bad the situation is. Funny thing is, with all these police, hefty fines and cops pretty much everywhere- there are other idiots on the road in just normal family cars or shitboxes killing people and running a muck and they get away with it. Please feel free to have a discussion- maybe a joint movement of car enthusiast protesting against this harrassment. Id love to see people able to enjoy there cars in Peace, seeing everyone out cruising on a nice day not worrying about the next cop around the corner. I mean come on - fair enough if someone is caught speeding or doing a burnout, fine them and defect them or whatever - dont pull over the person whos quietly getting along not breaking laws for no reason.

I live less than a km away from Knox in vermont south. Pettet in his silver XR8 falcon obviously got you. But you know i was thinking about this the other day as I go to knox frequently - why arnt all these idiots hooning around Knox in skylines, soarers, WRXs etc on there Ps being pulled over and while Pettets home base is right opposite the shopping center. Stupid move. No wonder I got harrased after seeing the way these guys show off around knox. But ohh well, I have my company car which a cop freindly camry.
