Hmm i Knew a young vietanamese kid i worked with in melbourne who had a Silver R33 and hes name was Koah Nguyen - you guys rekons this guys name was Nguyen? he used to come on SAU as West somthing. If so hes like 23-24. I hope it isnt. Try and find out who it was. Anyways. I hear a lot of you ranting on about p platers in skylines n stuff. Over here in Perth we have our licenses at 17 and people get skylines and a lot of them tend to be careful. You can kill yourself in any vehicle wether it be a little pulsar or a skyline. I dont beleive it is a good idea to be driving a modified skyline on your P plates but i dont see how a stock turbo one cud be any more dangerous than a V6 commodore. It all comes down to the drivers attitude. I am 20 now and ive owned 4 turbocharged cars since I got my license. Ive had two 12 second cars, a 12 second 180sx and a now a 12 second R32 and I know that it all comes down to the right attitude when driving any cars. I am off my P plates In WA and I never got hassled by police when I had them. If I could do anything to change the policies on P platers in fast cars, I would get proper driver training done as a part of gaining ur license, so that the learner can see the effects of a car that loses control and how easy it is to lose control if they drive stupidly.

Im not like that at all, dont worry , we have the same sorta, Look at me, type imports that get constantly stickered over in Perth too. My cars clean, stickerless and in perfect condition. Im heavily involved in the Perth car scene and Im far from some ricer idiot. I will be up in the Northern Suburbs, however i will be in the South eastern suburbs a lot as well. How are the proper legal drag drags there at calder? Is it a good dragstrip and how is for spectators. We have Kwinana motorplex down here and it is excellent for both spectators and racers. Im a firm beleiver of keeping racing on the track and off the street. Itd be nice to catch up for a cruise down there. Cyas Kim

Hey guys, As of next week im moving to melbourne as I have got a job there. I will most likely be bringing my R32 GTSt(RB25DET) along with me and im interested to know what the scene is like over there now. I moved over to perth from melbourne about 3 years ago and there was not many imports around at that time. Do you guys have big cruises there and how hard are the Police on giving out yellow stickers over there. I understand that if your caught doing something stupid or at an illegal racemeet you would recieve a yellow (canary/defect), but do they just randomly pull you over and give you one if they feel like it? Also, who are the people who have lots of Parts, and work on/tune skylines the best. Which workshops? I know asking these questions is making me look stupid but Id like to know. Anyways hope you can answer some of my questions. I hope the Melbourne scene is as good as Perth cos im sure gonna miss cruising down the sunny coast and with all the good clubs over here. This is a very nice car and it is well known around the place. It has made 264 Rwhp on a stock turbo at Ovaboost Performance but is capable of around 275 rwhp. The engine is smooth and has a lovely note to it. I am confident the car is capable of a mid to high 12 second pass and its performance on the run is superb. Some photos. Being stupid in front of a multinova is NOT a good idea. A carload of my mates went past a multinova not that long ago, one of them mooned it and the other one way yelling abuse and giving the finger. The guy was only setting up, but managed to get a photo of the car. The 2 abusing passengers were fined 3 points 100 dollars and one lost his licence. I dont think the multinova guy really cares, its his job after all.

hey guys, got my JMS nismo lip copy today and I really have no idea how im going to mount it, its a fiberglass lip with a large cavity, virtually only leaving a Line to mount it with. It seems that mounting it with double sided tape will be useless so some sort of adhesive is needed. What adhesive could I use that wont be harmful to my paint and still provide a decent amount of hold and which is not so permanent that I cant remove it. Anyway, can someone help me. Regards Kim

I have this exhaust on my 32 and it has the nicest, evilest note to it. Ive lost count of how many times people have asked me what is it and where I can get it. They have gotta be heard to be believed. My 32 has a RB25 in it so I dont know how different a RB20 would sound, but this definetly looks and sounds awesome. Kim

Hey guys I really wanna get ABS on my R32 and Ive seen a few setups for sale secondhand- what do I need to do to convert my car to ABS. I have the big Type M brakes on the car atm. Is this conversion possible. Kind regards Kim

I havent been able to find much information on this subject. What type of turbo exactly does a RB25DET use. I have a 1995 RB25DET engine in my car with stock turbo. What sort of Compressor wheels canI use to make 350 rwhp at least and what is the most cost effective. Your help is much appreciated. Kim

is the RB25 turbos dump pipe flange the same pattern as a RB20 turbos dump pipe flange? And If so how can I contact these guys? cheers kim

I want to remove the spark plug cover off my engine but at the rear of the RB25 ive noticed theres a little square box - most likely got something to do with the coils - how can I remove the cover and leave this box alone. Or can the box still be mounted without having the rest of the cover on top? Cheers, Kim

My R32 with RB25DET is having Power steering problems. The Hicas Light is intermittently flashing at times and the power steering is grinding each time the light flashes. Im really worried about this and im hoping its nothing major. It seems like a broken PS pump, but sometimes, like when the car is sitting idling, the Power steering is FINE, no nosise, no grind no light. I had my stereo installed today - could an Earth wire be affecting this. Is it anything to do with my battery. Ive put more Power steering fluid in it and its not doing anything. The belts seem fine as well. Im so scared ppls. Ive just spent my last penny getting this car and this happens I really hope its nothing major.

Hey its Kim here - know a couple of you guys from mandurah - I drive a white Mitsubishi Starion and if any of you guys have met me, youd know how much i love my turbo imports My cars off the road at the Moment, but will soon be getting a new engine - by towards the end of this year or early january, I will be getting a 32 GTS-t and keeping my starion as a project car for mainly club events (autokhanas/hillclimbing). We all have to meet up sometime -mrmeaner - i seen ur car the other day, its a real nice R33. Good work. There are actually quite a few people with turbos around here- ive seen the guy with that White 33 with sticker - seems a bit of a dickhead. I also have been in the Black Standard R33 thats around here - has gold GTS25T badge on the rear - My mate with a VL turbo was racing him (couple of u might know him-Ryan Farr-)and he just beat us but we were able to top end it - damm those 180 km/h limiters!! I was impressed how smoothly that R33 got power. Oh yes- and where I live in Meadow springs - there is a Red R34 G-TT - very very very fast, big Cooler etc. The old man who drives it is quiet grumpy so It mite not be idea to pull him over!!
