I would love to see it "Own" my RB20 Ceffy around the track. 34 sedan is very HEAVY and about the only thing nomukens 34 shares with a road one is the body shell and chassis.

Yeah you can just have to let them know at scrutineering. With the power you have now I dont see why a LOWWWW 12/ high 11 isnt possible.

I have Owned Both a 1997 Series II R33 GTST and a 1997 Toyota JZX100 Chaser Auto. The Auto Chasers Maul Manual and Auto skylines with up to 200 rwkw. I had a Catback exhaust on the Chaser and a K&N Pod filter and with the auto ran a 13.2. On the street, most of my mates 200 rwkw Skylines got dusted. They develop a shitload more torque than the RB25, even More than a Standard RB26. Beautiful car - get a Manual one though, so so much better and they can pull 13s with no mods whatsoever. Just to remind you - a JZX90 - Pre 96 Model with the Old 1JZ would be on Par with an Auto R33 - after basic mods though would eat a 33. JZX100s Came with a Different Motor alltogether - Single Turbo 1JZ VVTi.

Its true, the organised illegal events still continue to roll unharmed and the people doing the right thing by going to legal events get bent over. This state has dropped to an all time low tolerance for modified vehicles. They keep going like this and something big will come about it. Other states have had hoon laws before Victoria but you dont see the Police getting any more cockier to them. All those agreeing with the Police - again you are part of the Problem, not the solution. Its people with your mentality that introduce or suggest these harsh penalties.

I cant beleive this happened, I am glad I didnt take my car and I wont be taking my car to shows in future. This state will get so bad, that soon the cops will be door knocking and going to garages to EPA and Defect cars. To all those agreeing with the cops, your just brownie scoring hypocrits, you would be crying foul if it was your car in the same situation, you guys contribute to the problem, not the solution. Cops aint gonna give you a star every time you talk about how law abiding and proper you and your situation is.

I replaced the o2 sensor myself recently, rocker cover hoses ok. Where exactly is this IAC valve, what does it do? Where is the PCV valve and grommet. thanks kim

Hey guys I have a RB20DET Cefiro and after many months of trouble free motoring have experienced a Idle Problem getting worse and worse. I have read every tutorial on this website but nothing works. I have replaced plugs, replaced vac hose, cleaned out the AAC valve etc etc. Car Hunts for Idle now and almost/pretty much stalls when warm. Idles good on Cold start. When I disconnect the TPS the cars revs pick up to about 1200 RPM and sit steady, The Idle adjustment Screw is turned in completely. The moment I put the TPS plug back in, revs drop and it hunts and almost stalls. Now, unlike 32 or 33s, Ceffys Have only one single plug going into the AAC valve SOLENOID. I read that if you discconect this and the car stops theres a problem with the AAC valve. My car dies as soon as I pull this. Thats about as much as know, I dont know what it is, how to check anything else or what parts to replace. Car drives fine under power, it just cannot idle. Thanks in advance guys hope you can be of some help!

Mucked around with it the thing still hunts though. I have a feeling its a Plenum Gasket.

Ive cleaned out the AAC Valve and the problem has got even worse. Car cold idles fine, you come to a stop, it idles for about 10 seconds at 900-1000 then starts dropping like rotational idle almost on the verge of stalling. Im lost here plz any suggestions, ive had many RBs before and none of them ever had idle problems like this.

My ceffy has no blow off valve (from factory) and this problem has come about all of a sudden. Last service about 2 weeks ago, I noticed one of the lines to the charcoal cannister had perished and pretty much come off so I put a new vaccum hose on. I thought this would solve my problem. Since then its the same thing, come to the lights the idle hunts, it doesnt stall but it gets DAMMN close. Ive checked over the vac lines plenty of times. The air flow meter has been cleaned, oxy sensor replaced. I dont know what else? Im getting horrendous Fuel economy as well - like insanely bad.

Come on Cefiro Owners!! This has generated plenty of Interest!!! We have got the green light for a HPI Story and Pictures so it will be well worth coming to. As Ive stated - the cruise is a 4 door IMPORT cruise - That is, a 4 door Japanese Domestic Model Import car so Aus spec WRX,EVO,GSR cant be included (you guys have plenty of clubs and cruises anyway) I have a rough idea of what cruise were gonna take. Still trying to Sort out a Good time, Would you rather a Nice Lazy Saturday Afternoon (4pm) Cruise or a Earlyish Sunday Cruise (11 am). Has to be day time. Remembering most people commit to a morning cruise then bail cos theve got trashed the night before. Afternoons are good because it gives you time to clean your car up and do whatever you have to do just relax!! Just post ur preferences up here!

It has to be a Jap 4 Door import - so no VL turbo or other shitbox spec 4 doors (no camrys). Who would be up for it, Im thinking of a good cruise out in the open roads/hills, BBQ, A photoshoot (couple of mates a great photographers). So all you guys with 4 doors Imports welcome to bring other mates to it, I will be putting this up on the Chaser forums, SAU and some of the Mitsubishi Forums!!! Itd be good so For now plz leave your expressions of interest.
