  1. Price: $11,500 The skyline has been my baby for the last 2 years. She has served me well and given me many pleasurable days of driving through the hills and interstate. I have put a lot of heart, soul, care and improvements into her. In fact, I've spent well over $7000 on mechanical items alone. A real head-turner and lady killer with it's rare midnight blue skin and deep dish Italian designed rims. There are few Skylines of this era in this clean condition on roads today. Sadly, I have to kiss my mistress goodbye as I venture on an overseas adventure soon. I know that sounds like a clice? excuse, but I can show you my one-way ticket to London if you like! PERFORMANCE MODIFICATIONS: Greedy Front Mounted Intercooler Greedy stainless steel cat-back 3" exhaust (sings beautifully and not too loud!) Pod-mounted air filter Turbosmart E Boost Street boost controller/gauge Turbo Timer Walbro 500 hp Fuel Pump Ran 144 kW at wheels on hot day on dyno 11 psi (ECU not programmed yet) WHEELS/SUSPENSION: 18" Lenso D1R rims: 8" front, 9" rear, with custom blue strip to match paintwork Ventilated disc brakes Front Tires: NEW Achilles 225/40 Rear Tires: Good condition MAXXIS I-Pro 235/40 Wheels fully balanced KYB shockers (front are new) Front caster arm bushes Stiff Lovels blue springs front and rear (makes for REDICULOUSLY tight handling!) Lowered to the SA legal limit (345 mm front, 355 mm rear) AESTHETICS: Resprayed midnight blue Focal 8" active subwoofer (mounted under passenger seat) Focal 6.5" rear speakers JVC CD player Momo Steering Wheel Genuine Skyline front and rear mats Neat, clean inside and out MISCELLANEOUS: New clutch cylinders New drive belts Timing belt and water pump previously replaced Battery <12 months old New ignition module No oil leaks. Gear changes are smooth and clean. The car does not and will not need any work for a long time, simply jump in and drive away. If you like what see (check out photos attached), call me now (0403912647) or send a message! Happy to meet closer to city/east if you prefer (my location is Greenhill). My advert is also on www.carsales.com.au if you search for XJZ209.
  2. Hello fellow skyliners, I am trying to sell my R32. Rather than taking up a lot of information here, please see my advert for details by clicking on the following hyperlink: http://www.carsales....xjz-209&trecs=2 The price is quite negotiable. Let me know if you have any questions or wish to go for a test drive. Matthew
  3. G'day. This is a long shot, but I am desperate. Busted a 17" Mangels Maxima rim last week and it is beyond repair. If anyone has any or knows where I might find one, please let me know. I will pay well! I have tried a few tyre shops and online stores. Doesn't seem they have been made in a while or available in AUstralia through any suppliers. Haven't had any luck with overseas folk either. The rim is beyond repair. Just seems such a pain to have to buy 4 new/second hand rims when I only need 1!!! See photo. Thanks, Matthew
  4. Hi, Please lookup my VIN: HCR32003878 I am mostly interested in month/year of manufacture Cheers
  5. haha, actually i am growing my hair medium length this time and trying to 'contour' it a big so the boof doesn't turn mullet-like! That reminds me, need a hair cut...good thing my housemate is a hair dresser.
  6. Hi, I just joined today also. Welcome! And yes I hear you about the rapid depletion of funds in direct proportion to the love of skylines. See you around. Rat
  7. Greetings fellow skyliners. I used to think cars were annoying pieces of metal that just sucked your funds and provided no real enjoyment. That was until a friend of mine convinced me recently to up my budget slightly and get an R32 GTS-T over some standard car (Falcon or something like that, heaven-forbid). "You only live once," I said. Now I am totally hooked and a turbo lover for life! I guess the old saying is true, nothing compares to the whoosh of a turbo and the tight feel of a small sports car. Needless to say this was quite an improvement on my 1990 Honda civic, which despite it's red colour, did not endow itself to much speed, frivolity or head spinning attraction by onlookers. But now I finally have a area to hopelessly channel my funds in the neverending pursuit for more power and restoration. My car was fairly stock when I purchased it, except for suspention, brakes, 17" mags, pod filter, and a few other minor mods. I got kind screwed over as I didn't think enough about the rust and a/c compressor was buggered. But, otherwise it was a good buy given the engine had less than 90k on the clock. Just the other week I got a front mount, exhaust job, eboost, and will be looking at remapping the ECU soon. Then I need to do some aesthetic stuff. I think I have convinced myself I will stop after that though (i.e. get it as fast as possible without changing turbo or engine). Heading off to Tasmania on a trip in 2 weeks with a few mates with turbo subarus and Evos. So, hopefully will give them a run for there money and not drive off Cradle Mountain into Lake St Clair in the process (look out in the News)! I can't sleep just thinking about driving my car. Maybe I just need a girlfriend. But don't tell her that. Anyway. As you can tell, I can ramble. The main point of this post is to say hello to everyone out there and I hope find out whether there is anything in the way of Skyline 'events' in South Australia. My car is not up to standard for show judging or anything, but cruises, meets, or whatever might be of the order. I don't know anyone else with a Skyline (my SA friends suck naturally aspirated dog!). I am also hoping to quell any of the myths around Skyline drivers too by seeing what they are really like. I am a fairly tame driver. However, the boost temptation to pop up to 90 quickly in 2nd gear does yearn itself once a week or so. -Rat (PS that was my nickname from high school when I had long bogan undercut hairstyle. Now it is much more sexy)
