well i never have a problem with other police officers, except this guy!

for over 4 years i have never had a problem and only RBT twice and never asked about what i got in the bonnet! it's just this time, where this police just pull me over for no season just to check out my exhaust. .. is it for real that he said that the EPA will send me form and ask me to EPA centre! he didnt give me the defects form but just a normal traffic fine!

just got pulled over by the cops last night for no reason. he came down and said my exhaust is not standard and he asked me to pop up my bonnet. he looked at the hks bov and said it's illigal but then i said it's plumbed back though. then he said you lucky! <_< .. he then look at the fmic and said also that it's also illigal, because it allows more air thru the engine which is not standard! .. then he look at my pod filter which was totally sealled, then said it's illigal as well because you require a box around it not just enclose it with sheet metal/plastic which only for blocking the heat! ... it needs to be full enclose to prevent from sucking alot of air! i was polite to him and everything but he tried to act as if he know everything! i told him that i had never have trouble with the law before but then he said "well i'm going to give you a fine and EPA will send you the form, and it will be your lesson to own an imported car which you should know they have been modified and it's my responsibility" ..... oh yeah, he also took a few pictures of my exhasut, enclose pod, fmic and BOV! <_< 1. can someone tell me whether our pod with CAI is illigal? and it need to be fully enclose like the stock box! 2. if EPA asked my to bring in the car should i put back the stock exhaust? i was told that with 3" turbo back exhaust from Liverpool Exhaust it would be complied, i'm lost.

silver gts-t: sorry, i meant when i decelerate (off the trottle) then it will stall! ... it idles fine. btw it's a second bov! does the screw has anything do with it? i thought that the screw just tighten or loosen the spring! thanks!!

hi guy, could anyone help me with the stalling problem i have after installed a hks ssqv bov with plumb back! so far i have screwed the screw both ways (in and out) but still stalled! i have also rise my idle above my normal idle speed by 200rpm but still doesn't help! any comments would be appreciated!

the gcg/vg30 is definately laggier than the normal gcg highflow. i'm getting 18psi in 3800rpm & 20psi in 4100rpm, whereas the normal gcg highflow 18psi in 3400rpm.

does it comes with plumb back? this will bolt on r33 gtst s1? thanks

i'm using the hks ecv 3. The turbo comes with hks actuator as well. the exh is 3" turbo back and is series 1.5. sorry dont have scanner. the AFR is 1:12 starting from 4000-7000rpm. 3200rpm - 82rwkw 3800rpm - 120rwkw 4400rpm - 166rwkw 5000rpm - 190rwkw 5600rpm - 208rwkw 6200rpm - 222rwkw 6800rpm - 232rwkw

Mafia: the exhaust is turbo back with highflow cat. last tune just with GCG stage 1- at 10psi i got 200rwkw and only pull 220rwkw at 15psi. now with Poncams and hybrid turbo i only on 232rwkw. with my stock turbo i've got 200rwkw with mines ecu! yeah, i was expecting atleast 240rwkw with the setup!

just got my car tune last week and the result was very disappointing. Before with the GCG stage 1 i've 220rwkw boost start at 18psi and dropped to 14.5psi. Now with Poncams and hybrid with vg30det rear exhuast housing i only managed to pick up 12rwkw and boost from 20psi dropped to 16psi. The tuner reckons that the valves springs are weaken or something. Has anyone experience this before? or is it right with the amount of boost? engine: r33 3'" exhuast, pfc, 550cc inj, reg, pod, trust fmic etc.

Peter, the turbo is definately a hybrid vg30 and r33 that i sold to you. As for r34 rear exhaust housing my mate had it on his car and it's the same as r33. I have confirmed with GCG Turbo and the vg30 rear housing which i bought and highflow is exactly the same as the one i sent to you. Well perhap you have sourced yourself a hybrid but didn't know about it and because anything is possible from Japan! dennis
