  1. i've got the same problem at the moment! however, only when i floored in 4th/5th gear from say 2000rpm and it flutter at about 3000rpm. 1st/2nd/3rd gear is fine as it will rev to 7000rpm! i'm thinking it might be the turbo surging. btw it's a GCG stage 1 high flow. anyone experience this before? any help would be appreciated!!
  2. Abo: what degree did you set your exh timing? The thing is i got 200rwkw at 10psi but as i increase boost to 14psi i got 224rwkw but when increased another psi i got less power! Basically the graph power is like a straight line! note also i have turbo surge at 3500rpm as well! :whatsthat 3000: 85rwk 3500: 115rwkw 4000: 138rwkw 4500: 156rwkw 5000: 175rwkw 5500: 193rwkw 6000: 205rwkw 6500: 217rwkw 6700: 220rwkw 7000: 215rwkw do you still use stock BOV?
  3. just had my car dyno! 450hp gcg turbo 550cc injectors z32 afm fmic pfc 3" exh turbo back greddy filter nismo pump nismo reg hks evc 3 200rwkw at 10 psi 220rwkw at 1bar the tuner thinks that it would get more power at 15 psi by looking at the 10 psi boost. we have tried to boost to 1.2bar but it dropped back to 15 psi. He reckoned that it was leaking pressure somewhere and possibly the stock BOV! any suggestions would be appreciated!!

  8. lag time which required to input into the power fc. the stock r33 gsts is 370cc and lag time is 0.528ms.

Midnight Racer: here is a quick guide to set the boost! 1. press Mode to go to setting mode ie. boost setting 2. select either low or high boost setting by pressing SBC while press either low/high boost setting as required. 3. when in the low/high boost setting - dial in the boost required 4. then do the rest of the settings hope this will help!!
  11. Phil, make sure your body valve (in the engine bay) is grounded to the chassi.

  19. i've done some testing myself also and found the following: 1. Power 12V connecting to pin 49 2. Air Signal ground to pin 26 (note it's not ground) 3. Air signal to pin 27. So to wire the z32 to s2 afm as follows:- Z32 AFM R33 S2 A - not connected B - Air signal -> 3 C - Ground -> to ground D - Grd signal -> 2 E - Power 12V -> 1 F - Not connected can anyone correct me if i'm wrong?
  20. i'm upgrading the turbo and ecu so i have mines ecu and turbo s2 for sale. They are all still on the car, for those who live in sydney area welcome to have a look and test it out before removing it from the car. the last time the car was serviced was about 5 months ago, the turbo have very minimal shalf play. The mines ecu and with stock turbo produced 200rwkw @ 12psi and i did took it to the WSID with no traction i ran 13.6s 2.4s 60ft & 109mph clutch was sliping (best is 110mph). The mines ecu good for light mods. Mines ecu - $450 ono r33 turbo s2 - $450 ono PM me or give me a call on 0412 272 301 for more information - for genuine buyers only please.

  22. finally got to to to the street meet for the first time!! it was a good experience but disappointing! I had only 2 runs before the rain. first run i got bogged a little and my clutch not holding as well, and only managed 13.69s @ 108.7mph & 0-60ft 2.4s!!! well my second run i tried to launch at higher rpm (5500rpm) and riding the clutch but then my clutch (pressure plate) just gave up and got stuck half way! getting my clutch replace this Saturday!! will be back when i run in my new clutch!!
