  1. i know that, but unfortunately i cant get any more boost out of the stock wheel with out stripping it.... so new steel wheel on the back.... ill weigh the shafts side by side to see what the difference is....
  2. i guess we will have a look when they turn up. being stainless at least me an scotty can hack em up and weld on a bigger exit. its not so much the outlet on the 33 one i have, but the inlet. and the god damn weight, being cast its about 4kg!

  4. and youve tried removing the boost tee and just putting a hose between the two places? could be faulty. there could also be a few other things, but lets rule out the simple shit first.

  9. yea man, thanks! honestly. its the dump. has to be. ill get a picture tomorro, but f**k me, its under 2 inch in there. no point having this amazing free flowing exhaust with that dump on. it did the job well, got me out of a grind, but now i can afford it, upgrade time. hopefully ther guy with the 34 dumps on here still has them. time to text him.
  10. i swapped it out for a genuine hks filter. its foam/sponge, so its f**k all restriction really. but ill get him to do a comparrison with it off.

  12. going by the size of them mick i dont think it would make that much difference!!!!!!!! but its something i can look into at a later date. right i started pulling it down last night. turbo, cooler, dump and manifold off. gotta check all the timing marks are in the right place and take the chain off. then cams out and head off. excited too see what state a 300km engine is in...... dump pipe is so obviously a restriction its mad. its f**king tiny and must be destroyed. cue scotty and a custom one. or does anyone have one r33 gtr dump pipe aftermarket available?!

  18. lol its running 2.25 or 2.5 inch cooler piping with an xr6 turbo fmic..... maybe the cooler is too big?!? right now, imma get dump and head sorted, install the metal wheel shaft into a turbo and give it back to dmd, saying, hit 200kw, then give me maximum response.
  19. well its not toooooo bad. the coolant being burnt would explain why we have lost a bit of response, as the fuel would basically be f**king useless. the stock dump needs to go, that should allow some quicker flow..... been thinking about external gate, moar boost etc etc.... no idea to be honest. but id love it too spool about 4-500 rpm quicker. hopefully some dump and head work can achieve this.
