    Hi All, i have a q45 afm with apexi power intake pod filter on it. i would prefer to trade it for a rb25det afm with pod filter + cash looking for around $100 + trade location is sydney thanks Adam

    Hi all, I have a q45 afm with apexi power intake pod filter that i would like to swap for a rb25det afm with pod filter + cash adjustment... this is quite urgent - conversion on my car (vl rb30det with lpg) is nearly done and the tuner needs a rb25det afm as its going to run on the rb25det ecu not a power fc thanks

    i think they will fit into the rail but the wires need to be switched arround... not 100% sure though

    your immobiliser should have the fuel pump incorporated into it... if you have fuel, spark, and it stutters... maybe your cas is gone

    Do you know which colour wire on the injector loom gets 12v? and what guage wire and fuse size? thanks

    i will ge tthe afm sorted in the next couple of days. i have the fuel lines going in the right way wiring - i have a +12v going to the rb25det eccs loom and also another +12v coming from IGN, so i was under the impression the eccs loom controlled the injectors and coil packs? maybe im wrong... but thats the only wiring i did for my rb20det into a VL a while back... thanks all for the input

    i dont have the afm hooked up... i dont have a HC... 2 plugs had fuel in em... it will give a 1/2second cough after about 30 mins of priming and cranking well atleast i know spark is working it doesnt really matter about injectors as im going for a LPG straight conversion so they will be disconnected and have some plugs in the holes...

    ok, i definately have spark fuel primes out of the return on ign i put the positive of my multimeter on an injector plug and the negative on the body of the car and while cranking i didnt see any change in voltage - it wasnt anywhere near 12v any suggestions? do i need a resistor pack for the injectors on a series 1 rb25det? thanks

    its in a VL commodore....(would get a skyline but dont fit in em) ill check with a multimeter tomorrow... so u think maybe the fuel regulator could be stuffed? thanks

    Hi all, got the rb30det all wired up to a power fc have got spark, have got injectors, when i turn the key maybe 1/5 attempts i will get a 1/2second kick and that is all... i dont have the knock sensors connected as i dont have any - will this affect the timing so it wouldnt start? also, will turning the cas while cranking possible give it the right spark/injector combination for timing? thanks

    hi all does the return line hook up closest to the regulator and the fuel feed goes past all the injectors to the regulator? or the feed goes first to the regulator and then past the injectors into the return? thanks

    Hi all, which pin on the ecu triggers the starter motor on the little spade connector? +12v goes from the battery to the starter motor but is there a ground aswell on the starter motor? thanks

    when i got the quote i asked whether or not ill need twin carbys... gas research sell VL turbo kits for $1100... all the people who are getting ripped at $3500 quotes should look arround as the performance kits are all the same... anyways, ill let everyone know the power figure with a dyno sheet in a couple of weeks

    well they installer said its all the good stuff, and i wont be needing twin carbys... its only more money in his pocket so why would he downsell to me? ill let you all know when i get in installed
