  1. I got quoted 3200 with Justcars Insurance www.justcarinsurance.com.au Thats with ECR33 GTST 1994 @ $19K Im in brisbane btw, We got them to do a quote for my dad to insure... get this! Full comprehensive... $908!!!!!!!!! F@cking cheap! Im going to get him to insure and register under his name for a few months till i save to get it myself, he will be driving it during that time .. ofcourse
  2. hehe well between you and me it has worked so i must be lucky that was on my parents car though, not mine 3rd party fire and theft is about $850 for ECR33 94' GTSt @ $19,000 im awaiting my comprehensive price, im estimating around $3500 im 19 :| This is with Just cars btw
  3. Yeah well theft is basically the same.. u need to make a claim Hmm, ide love to find out the truth about this because the terms of Full Comprehensive is that the client's car is covered no matter what, that what they pay for, generally it doesnt matter whos driving, if the person who is paying for insurance's car is damages etc then its covered.. besides where the law is broken etc IE drink driving.. or person driving unlicenced
  4. Hmm i was thinking about this awhile ago, Logically, when someone takes out Full Comprehensive insurance on their car, it doesnt matter who or what damages it.. if the excess is payed.. the car is fixed So in theory, Insure under parents, you drive, if you crash/damage, give parents the money for excess.. they pay and car is fixed only thing is, registration information wont match the insurance information for owner/driver etc Comprehensive has lots of loop holes but what ive said above sound too good to be true. I drive my dads VT alot and he said if anything happens then im paying for it... didnt say i cant drive cos he wont be covered, and he knows his insurance, Any first hand expierences people?
  5. Ok so im guessing its a series one then, the car i drove yesterday that is. I want the latest series damn it! hehe :bahaha: Its all good, stunning car tho, testing some other to get a proper feel then ill decide What do u mean anywhere can do compression test? 6. Hey all, basically just saying hello, been member of silviansw for awhile now, but seeing ive saved up enough money to be the proud father of an R33 Gtst, i think its time to move up the ladder into more usefull and relavent information The questions i have are; Ive test driven a number of R33s now, and ive noticed that some have NISSAN steering wheels, and some have the skyline 'S' in the middle, why is this so? I know it must have some relavence to the year/model etc.. Can someone give me an informed answer? Also, Generally when buying an R33 can i get a run-down of things to check and anything that is common to breaking malfunction etc in R33s. And finally, Where can i get a full check and compression test/engine test etc done in brisbane? Thanks for the help, Look forward to bcoming productive member of this ere community Cyas
