  1. After some driving a few weeks ago i turned the car off to hear a small 'hiss' from the very front of the car, at the time i thought it was a pin hole leak in the radiator. After some searching yesterday ive found the bolt that goes through one of the horns has worn a small hole in the thin radiator infront of the actuall radiator and after driving its leaking out gas or something. Whats my best plan of action? Can i turn the gas off somehow so it doesnt just all leak out? And how do i go about fixing it? Cheers
  2. So whens this look to be going ahead 4door? Im just eager i guess  I know its fairly straight forward, but is some installation info going to be provided by mike?
  3. Cant beleive we got lost at the start of the cruise and then do the 'fun' bit in a group of 4 not knowing where to go for almost 45min, i got to the carpark and thought thats where everyone has stopped to regroup and then we were all going back out for some spirited driving. i guess carpark was unexpected though, i hate it when a cop shows off his power, who the hell does he think he is trying to exert police power when hes off duty and drunk. I know theres a LAW against that, and if not (see: corrupt police) I started questioning some things about him and he started getting angry, he said to me if you leave im going to arrest you, then as soon as i started saying youve been drinking and we're calling the real police, he changed his story all together and starting saying how much he admires the cars and some other bs. eh who cares we didnt do anything wrong on another note, for some reason i have 200 bugs stuck to my front bar, and the bolt from one of the horns has put a small hole in the aircon radiator
  4. heya cyrus will you have some stickers to hand out tonite?
  5. Yay! Been waiting for a good nite driving in ages Just finished cleaning the car, hoping the pin hole leak in my radiator doesnt cause any problems tonite  its been dorment the last few drives so should be fine see you there!
  6. woot! sunshine lollipops and rainbows... something something :kick: clear skies all around :burnout:
  7. Great, ill have a similar setup in about 2 months youve obviously got z32 afm too? just accumulating all the parts
  8. mines just resting there, but ill be mounting it somewhere eventually cos it does get pretty hot being so close to the cam covers etc
  9. True that I wish i lived near MV, this would of been one of the first mods i got done. I cant wait to see how it feels, especially with a new turbo :headspin:
  10. ok cool, but you didnt answer my question... How does it run with the gcg highflow at 1bar? :burnout:
  11. Well said, Its not hard to hit 250 on a private track, but at this speed and above things are very unpredictable and VERY dangerous. If anything were to go wrong it would be certain death. Going fast isnt cool, its all about how fast you get to that certain speed. So who cares about going 250-300km/h, its stupid and unless you have a test track to do it on, then do not attempt it anywhere.
  12. Well if your getting the engine done then unleash its full potential by also getting the turbos done, thats my opinion anyways from what youve said, it sounds like your going to have one nice street gtr when its done ive had dreams of twin GT-RS's on a GTR
  13. Well what is your intented target? Its easy to stab in the dark with a turbo, but remember youll need injectors, afm, ecu and a few other things to use the full potential of the turbo
  14. Yeah to be honest ide choose a 34 GTR over an M3 without a hesitation, But what everyone is talking about is the daily driver ability of the M3, ofcourse you can daily drive a 34GTR, but for daily driving an M3 would be hellastyle and luxury
  15. Ok, i dont know if we're talking about the same thing then What i mean is, The CES dump for the standard RB25 turbo has the splitter following the outside of the wastegate hole, but when getting the turbo highflowed, this hole is bored to a larger size (2cm if i remember correctly) Meaning that the splitter, even if filed back, will still not be getting all the wastegate gasses because the wastegate hole is now past the splitter itself.
  16. What car you got? Havent seen you around before i dont think? I live in morningside too pretty much If you can get down this way ill take ya gordon, but thats a bit of a hike Someone from the coast thats going must be able to help out, cmon guys!
  17. Well said, and good to hear the results Does Mike have the internet at work? Could you possibly entice him to maybe make a short post of his wisdom with automatics on here, there is ALOT of auto owners out there who have been waiting for this for a long time And we speak nothing but praise for his company, im sure he'd love to add to the discussion/information. Ide also like to know weather or not its possible to replace the clutch packs and any other worn components while doing the valve body change... Obviously without taking the gearbox completely out. Cmon Auto owners, show your interest....!
  18. Hip hip horay!! for u i mean, not the engine Happy Birthday Glen!
  19. Im still waiting on a possibility of free tickets, we got heaps last year so ill post up what happens either way ill be at the motorshow
  20. Ide taka ya gordo but dont really wanna drive to the coast and back
  21. Awesome thats exacly what i meant, im even using same equipment (ces dump and gcg highflow) what do you mean filed down though? as in made thinner? this isnt a good idea if thats the case, ive seen modified splitters fall off what did CES say? and how does the ces split dump with gcg highflow go at 1bar? nice i bet
  22. Sweet, could you post up what youve done to the auto, how it affected it, how much etc Just for everyone to have a read and learn something
  23. Blew up 2 engines? And then another one!? Personally i think the M3s are sweet but for the price, youd have a 34 GTR N1 in the driveway with money to spend on it
  24. Ive got a similar problem, im just worried about the wastegate seperator plate on the dump pipe, as im getting my turbo highflowed by GCG and they increase the wastegate diameter by a few cm i just decided to wait till the turbo is done
  25. The truth is if you give theives the time+means to do it, then nothing will stop them from atleast damaging your property. The best you can do is leave the car out of sight for the least amount of time as possible and park it somewhere thats harder for them to break into it. -Also, for those with one, remove the ignitor from the coil packs
