  1. Yeh its completely normal, im not sure if my camber kit squeeks or my swaybars squeek but its one of them mainly because they use urethane instead of rubber which is alot harder and less bendable
  2. well maybe it wont with posts like that, how bout you go buy the firewire card and the cable for me then ill transfer it, shit aint cheap these days :headspin:
  3. Ok, injector problem may have been sorted. Been confirmed that S15 Manual injectors are 440cc and side feed high impedence (Same as RB25 Injectors) Going by buskies formula i think it works out to be 440/370 = 18% lean on all maps If true, is alot easier to control and tune And with the Z32 already sorted, then this looks like its a goer
  4. Ide say its for the best, they'll surely start research or already have into a more advanced turbo range to superceede the 25xx series
  5. Yeh just do alot of tacking to see what fits where and then at the end do all the final welding
  6. Yeh often wondered about unichip.. It is just a plug in with lots more options yes? Wolf and Powerfc will NEVER work properly with the automatic box no matter how much tunning is done, there is no code for the gear change logic. Unichip sounds promising though, but does it allow you to run larger injectors and Z32AFM? If not then we are back to where we started. Im slowly building an autobox up to put in once the power is ready, but theres a few tuning/compatability issues to sort out first The truth is: The only way to tune the Auto ECU without affecting the gearbox and its gearchanging is to use piggybacks. Which only allows for at the most 270rwkw, but this assumes you can get larger injectors and Z32AFM to work. Some good news is that the S15 Manual Injectors are identicle to RB25 injectors but the S15 are 440cc instead of 370cc This would make them ALOT easier to control and tune compared to 550cc injectors.
  7. Yeh ive done some research into this aswell and found that NO stand alone management works properly with the automatic gearbox. There is no gear logic code (thanks sk) Been in autos with a wolf and powerfc now, wolf was better but still too much for me. We know that the only way to have control over fuel and timing on the automatics without any change in the gear logic etc is to use piggybacks - most commonly SAFC2+SITC. Ive been told by a few people now that tuning the SITC does not affect the autobox at all, making it the only device i know of able to controll timing properly on an autobox without affecting it. Obviously this limits tuning capacity and capability, by only having about 260rwkw (highest ive found on standard ecu with piggybacks) of power available, only +- 50% fuel cotrol and timing control of 5 increments (800, 2400, 4000, 5600 & 7200rpm) with adjustment upto +- 15 degrees. We know the SAFC2 can work with a Z32AFM in an automatic, well pretty certain anyway And that larger injectors CAN be used by tuning the SAFC2 but its still uncertain how well they will work and what problems will occur when only being about to controll the air/fuel ratios to run the injectors. Thats bout all i can think of
  8. wow! So the 8 you are getting are second hand? You said a set of 6 will be $450, is this assuming i can find 4 second hand for $300 aswell? How old are the injectors?
  9. Maybe put the seal in fuel while your chaning fuel pump etc?
  10. You gotta use mandrel bends if your going to do if properly, unfortunately they do cost a bit you can save money by buying a 180degree and cutting in half if you need 2x 90degree bends
  11. Thats what im trying to figure out, From what ive gathered, the Z32AFM compared to the standard RB25AFM will lean mixtures by 13% across the board. IF all is needed to control the Z32AFM is fuel control, then the safc/2 should have no problems controlling it. Im fairly certain the SAFC2 actually has an option to put in that your using a Z32AFM, i think its to do with the Sensor calculation. I guess ill find out in the future, ill either be confirming or dismissing alot of myths about the standard ecu
  12. Yep that answers it perfectly Is it possible to order a diff size reducer on the turbo side? I plann on using it with a GT-RS, unsure what size i need though  Will find out...
  13. lol relax buddy, there was never any hostility in the first place except created by you, just cos you got problems dont mean you start stupid arguments over the internet to raise your ego :Bang: And what if i did create my own afm pipe? Goto my gallery and see half the custom things we've made, i sure as hell have more of an intention and drive to make my own things for my car than you do Its common logic if no one questions quality and process then people are free to sell people whatever they want, theres nothing wrong with asking some questions and saying what i think. Bass understood what i was saying and took it how it was intended, why cant you? you dont know me, so dont pretend to know what i can or cant do :kick: Unsure if its been covered bass, but are you doing one for people with just an open pod? this would be majority of people yes?
  14. So your 100% on this darren? You just take the old rb25 ones out and fit these? Fit perfectly? Same clips? Any real world examples? Also is there any way to know they are the manual injectors if the auto ones are 370? hate to buy another set of 370s by accident! I might take those 2 injectors though, are they still in box etc?
  15. You got bigger injectors & afm?
  16. What needs to be changed to use it properly? just fuel ?
  17. Anyone? Surely someones done this before, i really like the current muffler and would rather get it fixed than buy a new one unless its going to cost alot
  18. Been searching around and cant really find much information, basically i just replaced my 3" zorst to something a little better but my muffler is almost hollow after 10years of use, and has an annoying tinny noise on idle Anyone know the prices etc for getting a muffler re-insulated? Will be calling around for quotes today cheers

  21. bastard!!
  22. ahh ok, good luck trying to do that often, i hate coming out of subway when theres heaps of people parked on the gutter, u cant see anything yeah i drive the commodore whenever i can, which is a fair bit  Saves me putting km's on the skyline and its just a-b driving anyways
  23. lol sorry bout that, i was really tired, just woke up didnt think you saw me, i waited for you to go kinda  i was in a mental blur trying to figure out subway/kfc ended up going subway so i had to drive all the way up and turn around :alcoholic
  24. They call it that because it bends 180 degrees from the start back on itself... or something like that, they also call it a half donut/U bend  Dont ask me why they call it 180degree, i dont make it
  25. 2nd one looks great the way it is, nice and simply yet effective could u also make the long thin traditional www.skylinesaustralia.com or sau.com they go well on the front support/front bar etc
