Anyone know where hi res images of the F60 are? Ones like this.. I bet they have left a fair few parts off what we will see in Melb, Ferrari being Ferrari would never over expose itself too much considering they are the first to unveil. Ide like to know what changes to track and chassis length etc if any?

Im wondering how accurate/relavent those images are.. Ferrari is yet to unveil the f2009? Not to mention there it alot more testing and development before race 1. Either way, it looks better than expected. Also i doubt aus gp is sold out, im pretty sure they have never sold it out? Ive heard for years how its running at a loss because of poor attendance.

Yes but F1 is one of the few things in the world where money spent doesnt directly relate to amount of success or gain. When Renault/Alonso won those 2 drivers and constructors titles, Renault wasnt spending anywhere near Ferrari or Mclaren. And Toyota joined F1 very late. I think they have done well considering. They are definately a team that forumula one needs, especially being the largest car producer etc I think Honda have the most to explain, they have spent billions since they recently rejoined F1, and repeatedly their cars have just been too far off the pace in every season. Plus Honda annoys me: They have the knowledge/power/money/technology etc to make some amazing cars. Including something benchmarking like the R35, yet all they do is release front wheel drive uglyness. What is Honda's fastest currently available production car?

Did some searching and couldnt find anything on the standard optional wing for v35.. I dont want to stard a new thread, just need some quick info. My friend is getting v35 and wants wing, if he buys without wing.. Can he order it from nissan?

What do you mean about positioning of the alpine unit? If he gets a model without the satnav etc, is there an adequate space for a alpine dvd headunit? (Also what about if he gets model with satnav etc?) He doesnt mind having to buy parts etc to fit the alpine, just wants a flush nice look with working DVD, Aus radio stations and music etc What is that standard wing called that you see on V35s sometimes? If you buy a v35 without it, can you order this from nissan or something? And where do most people go for servicing for v35s? Nissan? Or do it yourself?

A friend of mine is getting V35, would it be better to just buy one without sat nav/dvd and buy like an alpine dvd headdeck and tomtom gps to put on the window instead?

I second that I really think there is going to be inadequate testing considering the extensiveness of all the changes in 2009. Should create some good racing.. I hope. Driver adjustable front wing is quite interesting, especially with an 80hp 'boost' button. Im very interested to see how 08 laptimes compare to 09.. Go Alonso!

Toyota arent going anywhere. Honda was such a shock for F1 that if another large manufacturer was to plan on pulling out, im sure F1 management would step in big time. They cant afford to lose another team and i think toyota realises the potential 2009 has to reset the playing field a little. This is all BS if u ask me. Why couldnt they keep 08 spec cars, add slicks, an 'overboost' button and only allow aero upgrades once a year or everyone has the same aero etc Would have cost alot less! Well if he is the type of scammer im thinking of, this is just the beginning. They tend to live from scam to scam, trying to make that one big hit.. Which they then use the profits from to entwine into legit business.. At which point, you will never get a dollar out of him nor probably ever find him. Stuff like this happens around the world every single day of the year, its just quite hidden. Like sentences for drug dealing/organised crime, the police dont like to release the details because if people see that so and so guy made 10 million and only got 2 years jail.. Then alot of people begin to think its worth the risk. Plus the law protects you in many loophole ways. Which means he is protected too until proven guilty Infact, ironically, we could probably be sued by a guy who ripps us off because we tried to stop other people from giving their money to him.. Atleast until a court find him guilty. And cops dont really care about this type of crime, they want to be seen putting violent dirty criminals in jail, not people in suits. Also, changing your name isnt expensive. I would probably either consider paying a professional private investigator, or go private investigating myself .. Once you have the required info, You either push forward legally, or rent a van and scoop him up next time he goes out to check his letterbox * Just for a chat and coffee... Obviously

Yeah look, i sat back and observed this and other threads when i first heard about it. But to be honest, i knew this was BS from day dot. Its a typical glam and scam guys. Maybe i know more about this sort of jig than others, but it set off alarm bells even just reading the thread title for me. For starters, i thought it was completely illogical for it to be so 'grand'. This is Australia, the chances of finding the required number of people to front such large amount of money was NEVER going to work. But to give some relief back to everyone.. If i set up this scam, i would have done it differently for maximum 'profit'. I would have done it legitamately, except somehow altered the wrx that won the event so that i (or associate) won the million dollars. I mean common.. There is way too many ways this can be scammed.. controlled etc Its not hard to put a clause in saying no competitor is allowed to inspect the cars, then just make all but one car have restrictors or tuned ECU's making them slower. And on top of that, i would want to see a warehouse full of WRXs, a full press conference and some BIG names behind it before i ever gave a single dollar to anyone. I wonder how many countries this has been in?

Yeah F1 without technology, innovation, constant progression and IMPROVEMENT.. Is not F1. Maybe we should start a class action against f1 management for getting us hooked then making it shit! Without proper f1 there is such a big void in motorsport..

Its very 'A1 like' if you ask me. I really enjoyed how technically advanced 08 cars had become in the aerodynamics/downforce department. Why does it feel like some old dickhead and a bunch of never-were-race-driver people are making such drastic changes to f1. They are going on about cost cutting.. Well how about the hundreds of millions spent on this years aero that is now getting scrapped! It would have been much better to leave the cars as is, add full slicks and a boost button that gives another 1000rpm for 1 lap or something. That would make them probably 2sec a lap faster than current. One of the major reasons overtaking and exciting racing has been rare lately is because they all use the same tyres. It was so much more mixed up and fun to watch when michelin was in there too I want f1 to be the fastest that human engineering and technology can make it.

Well the hamilton show is in full effect now. If you thought it was bad this year/last year, wait till next year! Its going to f**king suck, lewis will get 99% of the commentary coverage, on-camera time and media coverage. Ive found that lewis is bring alot of new young fans to f1, but irritating all of the people who have followed f1 for awhile. The difference is.. All these new people are only into f1 for lewis. Whereas all the older people arent. Thats where this massive divide is coming from. And ive said it already, but ill say it again.. The championship was much easier this year for lewis as alonso was unable to compete. Congrats to him for winning, but i cant help but feel sorry for massa considering he should have finished 20 points ahead of lewis if ferrari didnt have that engine failure when massa owned lewis and also the singapore dramas. The irony in ferrari winning constructors is hilarious. You can retire now and become the celebrity you have always wanted lewis, oh and take that hopeless singer handbad girlfriend and that fat guy wearing a spurs shirt with you
