Sounds like the speaker wires have not been hooked up correctly or hooked up at all. Check the speaker wires to the rear speakers from the boot. Unscrew the plastic screw clip that's holding the back carpet back just below the boot light.

Double-sided padded foam 3M foam tape and Sikaflex with 4 screws to hold the wing on. Easy as pie - just don't over-tighten it.

Sort of related but rear bar. I have removed my rear bar and got a Bomex rear bar. Do I re-use the two metal rail mounts from the stock bar? The Bomex has nothing on the sides to mount it on...

It sounds like you purchased worn Bilstein shock absorbers mate. Get them reconditioned or get new ones.

I'm sick of my R34 Coupe boot lid trying to kill me as the gas struts are no longer functioning correctly. Often if I open the boot from inside, open then close my car door - the boot will shut too. What's the specs for these so I can find a replacement? It appears to have a serial number on the gas struts, however, Google returns no helpful results. Seems like a unique number to every Skyline. Thank you in advance for any help!

Alright guys, it appears that standard non-tapping screw with a big washer works fine. I went to a panel beater (Sheen Group in Hoppers Crossing) and asked, he gave me four screws with washers for free. Nice chap that one.
