  1. Mat You're gonna laugh - the car is being imported and registered in the Missus' name! No other way around it being in the boon docks of China. Looks like I had better bring her back some pressies to exchange for the keys. And nup - don't need you to babysit it for me until then!
  2. Strich9ine You know very well why I was "converted" as you put it (and so does the pole on Marmion Ave I ) Anyway - I reckon big horespower is probably better through 4 wheels than 2 (for me anyway). Landed, complied and registered price is WELL below $30K. BTW - no more R32 plates "unspoken for" left in Perth.
  3. Well, almost on the way. 1993 Black (factory paint) with 71K on the clock and 100% stock. Should be waiting for me when I get back to Oz in mid December. Looking forward to some cruising and weekend track work.
  4. If you're real picky about the quality, I thoroughly recommend Geoff at Exhaust Dynamics. The following is a shot of my old S15 with a turbo back 3" s/s system. http://www.exhaustdynamics.com.au/silvia.html Whilst you pay for the quality - you won't be dissapointed.
  5. No probs see you when I get back to oz mid Dec.
  6. Mark Nice vids - now where's the photo of the speedo during the power run! BTW - got Geoff R looking for a R34 GTT for me Cheers Gav
  7. Install and tune the PFC first. The PFC will tell you when the AFM is at full scale deflection (5.1V). I found this to be at around 200 rwkw on my old S15 using an RB25 AFM.
  8. It's obvious why the Aust. car manufacturers are trying to stop grey imports! R34GTT vs Monaro Half the price, looks nicer, goes harder, handles better, climate control ...... And that's for an unmodified GTT - spend a few grand on mods for each car and then compare!
  9. Yer yer GRT GTR Y'all friggen lucky I can type any English with this bloody Chinese keyboard and version of Windows!!
  10. Mining Consultant (Metallurgist) Presently working in the middle of China - Good, bad and ugly. Good - US$ and little tax - I should have me a GRT by the end of the year Bad - middle of bloody no where, few other expats, crickets for dinner.... Ugly - 12 hour days, 120 days straight
  11. OK Managed to swing a Novated Lease deal with my work. Now, trouble is I can't find anyone that will do this lease for "Grey Import". Anyone have any suggestions?
