  1. They did...and I race on it.
  2. I can feel my arteries slamming shut... The next 'cool' girl that rices up a Lance/Pulsar/Barina and drives down the Monaro Highway swerving whilst texting someone is gonna get their side mirrors kicked off...
  3. Spotted Jules' widebody braving the elements on the Monaro earlier today. Spotted Stevie sans Skyline twice at Belco' Mall, lovely lady in tow. Also spotted a silver 33 GTS on Wednesday night at Stromlo Cycling Park, it's owner chatting with an RX7's owner. Anyone on here?
  4. Second that. Tattoo Exreme in Queanbeyan always have looked after me too.(Jay in Tuggeranong, Dave in Queanbeyan)
  5. I have so wanted to do that! My luck would be the first car I blast for tailgating would be the Police officer about to pull me over...
  6. Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou...
  7. I'll throw one out there: the idiots that made the call on the 'new' AFP builing on Constitution Ave'. Quickly: "Yep; we'll take it, and all the free car parking that goes with it. Let's renovate it at a cost of taxpayers' XXX $millions for the next year or two and...Oh, wait. Now it's almost done,we don't want it. Turns out, it's too small for us. Oops. A slight oversight, sorry..." F**KBAGS.
  8. All the bulls**t that goes along with a visit to any country by the dumbest 'leader of the free world', George Dubbya. I'm happy if the city gridlocks because Jen' Hawkins is getting her kit off in George Street, but not for someone I have zero faith in. This obviously applies to Little Johnnie, too...
  9. Firstly, welcome to the forums! I hope you have much fun and friendship on here! 1st thing I like to see done is brakes and supension work( including quality rubber). Power is no good if you can't keep it on the ground. Then the 'little things' that need neatening up like loose bodywork, blown bulbs, loose wiring etc; all the things Plod may look for a reason to make life difficult. THEN the fun starts. There's much info' and opinion on here:take it all on board, stir once, digest, and plan your course of attack. Have a firm end result you want to acheive (use, power, economy, 'feel' sound, look, degree of legality etc) and try to stick to it! Enjoy!!
  10. My standard exhaust is floating around somewhere; I believe it's at Integra Automotive on Lanyon Drive(ask for Anthony). You're welcome to borrow it if you haven't already sorted something out(I'm posting this a wee bit late from your orig' post...)
  11. Belvedere (Qual' Vodka...)
  12. Yeah, they say all good things are worth waiting for! The boys are keen to host a dyno day or three, however the day of the 22nd is first priority. After that,well...
  13. Love ya work!! :laughing-smiley-014:
  14. G'day crew. I just thought I'd let everyone in on a well kept secret that should be getting way more air time. There's a new 4wd dyno in our area, run by the best in the business. I may be a bit biased, but these lads already have the runs on the board: the world's most powerful street rego'd WRX , DIABLO, at a whopping 578 AWKW. PHATASS widebodied GT-R at 1011hp ATRW ( a mere 996hp in 4wd mode...), one of the owner's gold Supra at 490RKW on a base tune, and it's an auto. Plus a bunch of tough cars of different marques, including a Foz or two! And now they've taken delivery of a shiny new dyno for all your tuning stuff! Some will recognise the name of ESP Racing's Daniel Jitts and Glen Kelly. If you don't, you will be hearing more of these fellas as they impact on the tuning scene even more. Glen has a passion for all things Nissan, especially those with a big red 'R' in their badging, owning a beautiful V Spec II that is a project that may well put mine to shame! They've done so much with Boxer EJ's that you'll be in safe hands. They've even had results from one of our own 'stealthier' owner's car!! So, pull your proverbial out and support the local lads who are putting Canberra on the map! These guys know how to tune a car, and they want more performance cars, so what's stopping you? Go in and see Glen or Daniel (sorry ladies; no picture...). They're at 171 Gilmore Road in Queanbeyan (NSW, I know, but I'm claiming them as ACT'ers, as it's just across the border!), phone them on 6299 4444 or email them on [email protected] Whilst I was there the other day, the tough Supra you see in the pics and vids was being seen to:
  15. Ditto Ray Spence. I never had a problem with AKZ, but this next certifiable job will be a doozy, so Canb' Motor Works will be getting the job...
  16. Good to see someone standing up for themselves and their car. Ballsy move though, not knowing all five could've taken the usual way out of a blue and ganged up on you. Maybe they didn't bother 'cause the thrower was deemed to have earnt the smack upside the head. Then again, the bottle thrower needs a good kicking,too... Any idea on rego' plate or locality of car?
  17. P.S. Bring it on, Clarkson...
  18. Thankyou all that have posted up so far: I've officially p**sed myself laughing, been weirded out and winced harder than Hillary Clinton...sometimes all at once! Bring it on, crew!
  19. Ah,bugger. Real sorry you'll be going, L. I hope one of 'our own' takes on the Stage'; what a cool car! I wish I had the coin to have it as a runaround! Keep us in the loop of a date for a Friday night deal or whatever,'K? (P.S. Good to see you've chosen the right path- the might of the 32!!!)
