  1. Someone help Shell out with a lift! The lady works hard,as we all do,and deserves a drink or three! Moreso, I've never met the mythical person who is Shell, and this seems like the only time we'd both be at the same place within the next millenia...
  2. Coolio: I wont get home 'till around 5.45, so maybe buzz me after then, cool?
  3. Probably when the next public holiday rolls around,LOL!! Seriously, we used to get together regularly, but distance, weather, finaces etc slowed that idea a bit, so I thought this would be a good idea to catch up with the crew...
  4. I've just lashed out and got a new LCD screen to replace the dead TV. As per exactly what I was expecting, once all 'set up'(as far as I can seem to get it,anyway),the picture and some of the options are nowhere near what you've all seen in the showrooms. Yes, I know super expensive cabling will cut out type something-or-other interferance etc, but I'm a twit when it comes to this stuff. Simple things like picture quality and trickier things like why some menu items are there but can't be accessed despite the instructions saying they can be,and so on.I need help! I don't want theorising via some mate's neighbour's girlfiend's dad who once worked for the BBC. Nor am I asking advice to be offered online, where I can only hang around for so long before it drives me mad trying to www.diagnose my problem. I really want the solid advice only a trained enthusiast or someone in the industry can give. So what I'm proposing is IF you're actually good enough to know what you're on about,I've got 2 x sixpacks of your fave drop to actually swing by, look at my set up and tell me exactly what needs to be done that will get the result I need. Moreover,a case if you can fix it on the spot(I'll buy the parts required if the need arises) Interested? Bail me out with confidence that you're the man or woman that actually knows their way around these things(specifically, a 37LC2D...)? PM me if you're up to it! I'll endevour to get back to you as soon as I'm not at work or asleep(like in 5 minutes time:a long day for me,today) (Those that don't drink, other arangements can be made!)
  5. It makes me laugh- all this whilst they build hundreds(thousands?)of extra houses...Maybe Veilside can offer up a real estate person's view on all of this...
  6. Glad to hear I'll be seeing you lot there! I'm on a slow-as-fook 'puter at 'work', so if everyone cam PM everyone else to let 'em know, that'd be great...
  7. Good to see you're getting 'bigger', Jules'! If any of you have been living under a rock and not yet seen or read about J's GT-R, do yourselves a favour and get an eyeful. A VERY well thought out and presented weapon! IMHO,one of the best this country has on the roads!
  8. The stealing/removing of the interior light is not new; gives them time to remove whatever with less attention being drawn to their scumbag activities... P.S. Getting in early: congrat's on the bub, Leshy!!
  9. G'day all! I just thought I'd put this out there for you all... Seeing that it's a public holiday on Monday, I'm proposing a get together at Jerra' Pub on Sunday eve for a catch up/general chin-wag and a few beverages. It's been a while since we've all been in the same spot at the same time, so maybe this is an oppertunity. I say any time from 6pm onwards, but if anyone wants to get cranking earlier, feel free to start without little old me! It'd be good to see some of you fellow Skyline nuts there! Jayce
  10. Up until recently,that is...Looks like he's turning into a GREAT allrounder!
  11. I've been a diehard Rossi fan from the time he got into 125's,but I'm stoked to see Case' + Chris V. going great! Nikki Hayden is a good guy(got time to talk with him at P.Is. a couple of years ago),but he's at best a top 3'er this season. I'd really like to see Col' E. get a win:the guy is super cool-plenty of time for a chat and a beer! He must feel a bit jipped being in the same garage as Vale'; hard act to follow! Troy Bayliss:gives older guys like me inspiration to go fast(also Frankie C. for all those years in the Supers). Then there's the man who rides only to win:Mick Doohan. WOW: what an animal on the bike. Rossi is a more gifted rider, and only slightly less hungry, but MD will always be the most driven rider,in my eyes anyway. Much frown time for Max Biaggi(not that he's anywhere to be seen lately...). What a w**ker.Personal experience with 'Mr Black Flag' will see me never supporting him. KR Jnr give me the pips when he was handed the World Championship and carried on like a princess for a few years-looks like humble pie is being eaten in his motorhome as of late.
  12. That works for me!! Excellent. Same questions as Roy from me...
  13. Sweet...I knew I'd got it wrong!
  14. Good to see a good looking car get some more berries! Silly question, but aren't your AFR's in the second pic in the 13:1,14:1 range? Or am I reading that incorrectly?
  15. Ha! Just had to get that first post in before anyone else,y'see...PM me details of address and preferred drop of Ale/s,and we're away!
  16. Sorry crew; last minute bail out. Due to injury, the BlingMobile wont be in attendance...
  17. Yeah; I didn't think so...Ah well; I'll have to have a go as a competitor once the GT-R is ready...if the series is still around in 2010!
  18. All good,mate; I'm glad I could help out!
  19. Rummer (thinking outside the square,I am...)
