  1. "Getting all emo' "...LMAO! Those f**king black-hair-dyed little turds are affecting everything, yeah? Ah,go slit your wrists, emo kids...Sorry;rant over. Well,it does seem import ownership seems 'lees cool' in some young'un's eyes, and we're always hearing that our desired cars are all 'getting long in the tooth' now most are past the 15 year rule. However, show me a Commonwhore or a Falchoon that is the bang-for-your-bucks that any import offers. Nup;can't be done. So Bluprint isn't going blind...maybe just me in my old age, cateracts and all that,LOL!
  2. 27th? Bring it on,suckas!!! I am soooo pumped for it!!
  3. Like Dan',I aint selling my pride and joy, twilight years of the import boom or not! I'm approaching my twilight years according to some young whippersnappers out there, but, for me anyway,GT-R ownership is forever. Sorta like a tattoo, really;think long and hard before committing,as you should have it forever. And it costs money. And it can hurt. And it can have you mislabelled. Wow;never thought there were so many similarities... So,in short:roll on the rebuild!
  4. In agreeance there;massive performance from Dan' and Glenn's stable! And yes,P + S's 32 is one of my all time faves! Hence why I'm sticking with twins! The unlimited vs limited budget idea is taken on board, too! Cheers,J;have a top New Years!
  5. I wont even begin to get into my list, for it is long, expensive and painfull... Suffice to say,it'll be worth it when it's all done!
  6. Thanks crew;all good info' so far! Keep it coming! And Bov,thanks for the PM;will check out your suggestion shortly!
  7. Hi all. I wont bore you on some of the words I used in the search engine to see if any of you lot has one of the fabled(and I'm led to believe very expensive) ARC airboxes, but I came up blank. So...who's got one? What's it fitted to? And does anyone have solid, proven info' either negative or positive about their flow rate, legality(will be involving an engineer to get everything passed anyhow),quality of fit(ease of fitting up,too) etc? Availablity of new elements? I'm not a fan of pods sucking in engine heat, and an enclosed box usually looks average, and no one whats to say they've dropped flow with their new bling box. So,the ARC looks pretty good...so far. A quick overview as to it's intended home: R32 GT-R,approx. 350 AWKW is the expected figure in the end. So,now I've put it out there;what say you all? P.S. I'm a bit bah, humbug about tomorrow's little religious gathering,so I'll just wish you all a nice day off if you get one,and keep everything nice and safe,'K?
  8. I don't think it matters which way you vote;we're a minority, and considered an antisocial one at that. We were promised that the dragstrip would be built if the last lot got voted in;they did,and it wont be built. The next lot will tell us what we want to hear just to get into power. I don't believe for one minute that they'll build us a strip just because the outgoing idiots didn't. We'd be mugs to believe it for a second time....and I believe we're here, driving superior cars to most, because we're not fools. So,it's off to WSID for me,unfortunately.
  9. Hey,HEY! It's my Barfday on the 25th! Nurny, nur nur;I'm older than you! Oh...I'm older than almost all of you... So,you get a public holiday off around your Birthday, too;cool, huh? Being that the paintball field doesn't have the nicest access road(read:you'll all be v. lucky to even get past the gate),you may want to organise other transport...Unless something has changed, that road was pretty bad for even a normal height family car...
  10. Well,I'm off both dates from work,so bring it on! PM sent,Em'!
  11. I'm with G. We were ALWAYS getting a dragstrip,in the same way we were ALWAYS going to get a truthful Government that is actually there for our best interests(not just car stuff,either...). They don't give a toss about the minority in anything, and will only bend over to the affluent and impressionable. F**k 'em.
  12. Here's what 460+ AWKW looks like without high mount twins or a big single...Unfortunately,it's not an ACT SAU'er,but from the outside is a very(VERY) neat 32 without the bling most people put on their rides. Just thought I'd post up a nice piccie for some inspiration...
  13. It does do those things, and then some. At some stages it's daily driven to work and parked outside with the nasty weather and all ...so,in my eyes,it's open to that particular award of 'normal looking,BIG power'. Although,in fairness,CEF11E said even standard looking when you pop the bonnet,so the cars I've been thinking of would lose out on that count. There's a few other cars with slightly less(and one with more)power that could be nominated, but they'd either be too showy from either the outside or under the bonnet for the stealth idea, but there's many other suggested brackets they could be placed in... I'm more ticked off that my car is not further down the build process to be able to be seen... Then again, those that know it already know where I'm heading !
  14. Define street car.Anything turn key reliable, able to make such a figure on pump fuel, can run to the shops and back without fouling plugs or overheating,of reasonably legal ride height, able to contain more than one person...dunno;missed anything else?
  15. I have a sneaking suspicion I know which car will take that one out,but feel free to better the effort! So far, from a local car,549 AWKW is the mark to beat from something v. neat,v. tidy and v. streetable IMHO. Go stealth!
  16. Bugger aero cD rating crap, fuel economy for the missus and 9 kids, tyre wear, socially acceptable in-car noise levels...Bring back the R32!!! OK,so I'm biased. So I say the 'new' GT-R is the better looker, but neither really has the WOW factor. And I hate anchovies. There's something not right about a hairy fish...
  17. Post Chrissy would be a good thing;this whole Xmas spirit thing sucks the life out of everything else that needs to be done! Bah,humbug! Speaking of Xmas spirit;where'd I put the Xmas SPIRITS...
  18. You may have some competition there, pal! Great idea M;happy to lend a hand, judging and all that jazz if needs be...sounds excellent, either way! Can we maybe nominate other peoples' rides, too? I know who get's my 32,33 and 34 GT-R votes already! And I've got some good cars in mind for the Stage' and GTS-T classes,too...
  19. Unfortunately,it's a fake. I know the car,and know the owner. It's a GTS-T with some GT-R guards, bodykit etc. Does somewhat cheapen what some think is a V Spec GT-R...or even a normal GT-R. No matter what spec' a GT-R is in,regardless of model,if it's the real deal you can bet it's got nothing to prove unless it feels like it. Go the Big Red 'R'!!
  20. I can guarantee you they exist;there's one less than 20 feet from where I sit right now! You can even have a V Spec II,which would be the specification my car is...
  21. As you already have owned the car and had the licence for said car pre your infringement,I'm 99.9% sure you can keep driving the performance vehicle;you may want to check the legalities of being pulled over later...you don't need the officer believing you're spinning him a yarn! Also check when the double points start in NSW. If it's after the date you were booked, and the officer in question has marked you down for double points incorrectly, you can get out of it... There's my 2c worth.
  22. P.S. Andy;I want a closeup of your avatar pic,or any like it,LOL!!
  23. Well done;good to see you're back!
  24. I was wondering the same thing...LOL!
