  1. That...is...THE...sh*t! Pass the Kleenex!!!
  2. Pics! Pics! PICS!!! (please?!?)
  3. No,B: I don't know...care to explain it for us? Are you up for purchasing a 'Line now?
  4. Slowly,LOL! The expected build up will take more time, funds and trick parts than I envisioned, but it'll be worth the wait! And I'll get to Melb' soon:have to buzz ya to catch up for a drink!
  5. Gotta say Jon + PANADL went hand in hand... EXCELLENT GTS-T,that one! How's the Melb' scene,Jon? We miss ya up here!
  6. Nope:t'wasn't me,either. I didn't know it was a Skyline, and it's been a year since I worked in Fyshwick,so I'm not up to speed with who it may've been driving. I do know the motorbike was a Harley, and he'd already been knocked off when the last car,who couln't react in time, ran over him and dragged him along under the car...Nasty business;sounds like he's had most of one leg amputated, amongst other injuries.
  7. Likewise:spotted ya right back! Welcome to the Nat's Capital!
  8. Careful;I may just be taking you up on that soon....Prefered drop of ale?
  9. Delayed 'spotted' from the weekend and last Friday:green Stag' with QLD plates on Lanyon Drive,a neat, black R33 GTS with nice rims, rego' GT-***,at Jerra' roundabout-anyone on here?,a tough red R32 GT-R with gold rims parked next to Hansel & Gretel(across from the Police station)on Lathlain Street,Belco' about a week ago(once again:anyone?),Ewan on the Monaro this morn',followed shortly afterwards by a black 32 GTS;FMIC and pretty plain otherwise(but sounds a bit cranky...),with a little chrome sticker just above the rear numberplate. Also a stock/as-close-to-stock-as-it-can-appear-to-be R33 GT-R,white with matching Enkei 5 spokes doing some driver training at Sutton Road on Saturday morning. You all know the question by now:anyone on here?!?
  10. Oh,here's a guy who IS proud of his GTS-T-observe grill badge...
  11. Couldn't agree more. FFS,be PROUD of what you've got! Here's another one:P platers that blow their horns in anger nearly a postcode BEFORE they pass a cyclist who's not actually on the road, but grovelling in the refuse, dead 'Roo and gravel in the shoulder of said road. THEN have the audacity to flip the bird at said cyclist who has done nothing to provoke anything. Cyclists should be issues handguns to blow out the back windows of such idiots...
  12. Thanks Shell! Takes a lot to get me into such a bender, but he was worth it! And,as the standard of driving in the Nation's Capital goes to the dogs,I'm sure we can all add our experiences here!! LOL! And I agree with SkyGTRline:that car is sooo limp-wristed,pillow-biting,shirt-lifting,donut-punching G*Y ...
  13. Spotted a cool Stag' near Belco' this eve';Leshy,I do believe? Hard to spot you behind the tint! Not that you would've noticed me,even if I was driving "The Weapon"('94,NA auto' Liberty FWD with 500,000 k'm's travelled...what a machine.Watch out for the traffic light smackdown from this mechanical masterpiece...). Also spotted IB6UB9 sans GT-R in Belco' Mall!
  14. I'm hearing you on this one,LOL! I'm 'in'! And that would've been RH9 you were refering to in the other garage spot, yes?
  15. Ah,lads:you warm my cold, jaded heart! I'm cooling to the rage I felt not 24 hours ago, however I may be tempted to seek justice. I mean, really:sunglasses at night in a tinted car doing 60 in an 80 zone whilst weaving?!? Natural selection:kill the stupid.
  16. Yep;pretty much what I thought. Just thought I'd chuck it out to y'all in forum-land in case something truly cool was available, but sadly...no.
  17. Hi all. Many moons ago,HPi mag' featured an R32 GT-R that was purported to have a 'quick response' ABS unit on it. I looked as hard as I could for differences in the pictures, but nothing seemed different to my system(same car,V Spec...). I emailed all the usual magazine tech' people, but no response(pun intended). I was thinking if these mythical brake bits do exist,it may be an N1 part or similar. Can anyone definately confirm these things exist? And if they do,part numbers, differences in appearance/distinguishing features, what parts are actually different etc.... Any help appreciated! J.
  18. Thanks for the solutions,crew-some excellent ones in there(cheers Dan'!). Jeez,it's 6.30 the next morn' and I'm still amazed at this idiot...Whilst I'd love to find out who he is and have a word in his ear,I think I'll let Mother Nature and her natural selection technique take him on!
  19. Ah Ha! I see more clearly now! Yep,ya got me. Didn't notice the gold BREMBO'S on the first photo, rather than the AP's. I gotta say in my defence that the 1st photo makes your car(yours, yes?)look black. And I know the Duke is gone(it's 'somewhere' in Fyshwick for sale, weapon of a thing that it is,but you knew that),that's how I knew where the wheels in question were stacked(well, they were when the original photo's I posted were taken last Friday...Have you since made a purchase?). S'funny;you say they're not stacked there, but as I was standing next to them, sticking my finger into the rubber,I coulda sworn they were actually there last Friday... Do you now have N's wheels,or merely own the same type? That last shot-they look like Gram Lights,or at least one of the 57 range. So,if those are the wheels in question, and they're the ones stacked up and NOT Gram Lights, what are they called? They suit the grey 32;then again,I think they's suit any 32,really. And you say there's more than one GT-R staying in that garage? Cool! Whilst I thought the other car space may've been reserved for 'the family car',which also looks class in black I think, maybe it's been outted for a 'lodger' you say? Mmmmm...think of all that Nissan goodness in one place! I'll assume it's a daily driver(this other eclectic GTR),as it wasn't there the other lunchtime. Who'd drive a car with such wheels to work? Good security,I'll assume! As for the cheap-ass Tempe copies;meh-you get what you pay for...Volks,any day!
  20. And I'm not going to apologise for my post. It's not a rant,it's crap driving on display...
  21. Righto:it takes a fair bit to wind me up these days(I must be getting old and senile or something),but, after tonight's little episode,IT'S ON! I'll give you the setting: 6.30 p.m.(so it's defiantely dark)at some lights in Belconnen. Waiting for the green,a riced-out 3 series BMW pulls up. Lights go green, and I roll away in the long-suffering Liberty. I hear the drainpipe drone of an excessively sized BM' go 1st/2nd/3rd,and I've just seen 40km/hr on the speedo...OK,so Rice boy likes the cabin noise;fair 'nuff. I was once young, and had hearing, too. As he inches ahead(barely),he pulls into my lane,a little close to the nose of the car,but it's under control... Approaching the next set of lights, and about the time I notice the imitation Altezza left tailight is only partially working,he jabs the brakes as he approaches a clear, green lighted intersection. Cautious? Him,maybe. Me? I'm getting worried. As he wobbles into the 'Form One Lane' section,he slows to 60...in an 80 zone. Preceding to hold everyone up as he bobbles up the one lane road,I wonder who is driving this car. Getting to the last roundabout,he gets all 2 Fast,2 Furious, jamming through the roundabout at a whopping 70 km/hr,showing all his deft touch behind the steering wheel,as the car jerked hard left/right through something so flowing a Lotus Exige would barely need to shift it's line. OK,so now the too-low,chrome-wheeled,crap-sounding-exhausted,ricer-graphic'd BMW is plowing along,I finally have a chance near Glenloch Interchange to safely pull level with this son of rajab of The Streets. And,believe this,Mr. Word-Up-G-Unit,resplendant in his beanie,is reclined(nearly in the backseat, actually),with dark sunglasses on.At night. With tinted windows. You. F**king. Tool. On top of this,he wobbles through the traffic, blaring along up to five cars in front at one point but still loud enough to hear, windows up,and even goes for the signature Bathurst overtaking manouvre one lane directly across from a marked Police car. Maybe they were both deaf & blind to each other,I'll never know. Now,I've got numbnuts' rego' plate. What should I do? Post it up,and hope someone alerts said idiot to his failings? Pray the appropriate authorites are watching the forums, hunt this moron down and give him a slap on the wrist? Quietly fume, and hope natural selection catches this twit up? Or do I ask people to contribute to this thread and post up their discoveries on Canberra's roads? Does anyone know of the legal ramifications of posting up a " I spotted this jerk, rego' #..."? Seriously? Ah,I'll just get on with...posting this up on many forums, and see what happens! Go on;indulge me. You know you want to!! LOL!!!
  22. Thankyou Nismoid, linesmen, ballboys. Game, set and match to the 'search' function. Now,let's pack up and close this thread...
  23. Funny;that car's actually black...LOL! And those wheels are currently stacked up right about where that Duke 996R is sitting in the photo. Maybe we should poll which looks better on the 32 in question? I think I'm voting for the boots that the car currently wears!
  24. The Gram Lights are currently sitting next to the car, only that they're wearing race rubber....Yummo! Best of both worlds,I'd say!
  25. I'll work on it:back to you soon!
